Zoophobia Ideas

Yes, I've developed an interest in Zoophobia, mainly because of the awesome and wholesome short "Bad Luck Jack." My favorite characters? Jack, Kayla, Zill, Spam, Autumn, and Addison (I love his hair and find his introverted nature pretty relatable).

It's pretty sad that Vivziepop put the comic series on permanent hiatus, but I can't wait for her to reboot it. Personally, I can understand why she did it. I know what it's like to look at one of your earlier works and wonder, "Why the heck did I ever think this was a good idea?"

Anyway, I imagine that Cameron being stuck in Safe Haven would be justified by very few knowing just how to get a human (or any creature for that matter) out of there, or Cameron staying quiet about it out of fear. This is Vivi's work, though; she'll probably want to go in a totally different direction.

I can see Autumn as the kind of guy who's so used to being bullied that he refuses to put up with their nonsense or let them pick on others. He also seems like the kind of guy who quickly developed emotional maturity to compensate for his lack of physical maturity.

I'm kinda surprised that Rusty's reason for being embarrassed about his real name (Reuben) isn't related to it being the name of a sandwich. The reboot will probably have some other character (probably either Spam or Addison) make a comment on that, which Autumn would consider hilarious.

If Addison gets any speaking lines in the reboot's shorts, I imagine he'd be given a soft British accent (to go with his adorable design). His demon friend, Damien, might be more protective towards his cousin, Jack, as well as more curious about and fascinated by the surface world.

Zill might often describe Kayla (who could playfully call him "Zilly") as an "angel." His main extracurricular activities would include acts of heroism (many of which would make good use of his wings), sports, theater, and helping Spam write out his (Zill's) marriage proposal and wedding vows to Kayla.

As Zill's best friend, Jack could sometimes act as his wingman (which would include reminding him of all his anniversaries with Kayla), along with (maybe) tutoring him. His obligation to help Zill out might (at least partially) come from Jack feeling indebted to his best friend for the latter's willingness to "put up" with the former's bad luck.

I've also taken special notice of the adorable Kestral. I can imagine a Zoophobia reboot short about his first day at Zoo-Phoenix Academy, being shown around by Alanzo, Jackie, or Autumn. The little guy would probably speak with a soft voice and a Southern accent.

Now keep in mind that this is all purely speculation and that Vivi might have some totally different ideas for the rebooted Zoophobia.
