Appearance: Takibi is a male Moonflower with ruddy skin (and lots of scars all over his body, many of which look like tiger stripes), ash-black hair with spiky bangs, and a MoonPlume shaped like a silversword. He wears a vermilion vest with a flame pattern that changes color based on his Emotions (the vest itself turns yellow-orange when he glows Pink, Lime Green, or Raspberry), worn over a coal-black long-sleeve shirt, as well as long coal-black pants, matching heavy boots, and a set of goggles with a black strap and rims that change color based on his Emotions. When smithing, he replaces his vest with a pair of ash-grey gloves.

Personality: Takibi's quite a passionate, standoffish, and warrior-like Moonflower who's quick to resort to violence, especially towards those who intrude on his moon.

However, underneath that tough, militaristic exterior is an enthusiastic, fiercely loyal intellectual who enjoys studying the chemical and geological compositions of meteors (along with any other new minerals or substances he finds). He also tends to get fidgety and lose focus when doing unstructured activities.

History: Takibi was born on a rocky, volcanic moon (some of the volcanoes erupt with molten goop) inhabited by Dragos (dragon-like Alterlings), which he's called "Vulcanio."

Throughout his life, Takibi had defeated many large, powerful monsters in battle, earning himself a reputation as a fierce, fearless warrior of tremendous strength and intelligence. At the same time, however, he always considered the Emotions Fear, Love, Sadness, and Silliness to be signs of weakness (with Silliness being "just plain unnecessary"), leading to him bottling them all up (and coming down with MESS as a result).

One day, Twisted Unicorn came to Vulcanio. Takibi tried to fight him off, but he was swiftly defeated due to the MESS weakening his body. The Dragos took great notice of this and were quickly persuaded by Twisted to have Takibi sent into "temporary" exile to prevent Vulcanio's environment from harming his health even further. Twisted took it upon himself to "escort" Takibi off... by flinging him into space via tractor beam.

After a while, Takibi drifted into the middle of a meteor shower heading towards Kiyoshi's moon, where Maroshi rescued him, and after hearing Takibi's story, he and Kiyoshi helped the warrior-like Moonflower reclaim his moon (while also curing his MESS).

Powers and Abilities: Takibi frequently collects minerals and ores to craft them into weaponry (which he's quite adept at handling), armor, and shields. Both of these activities (plus wearing/wielding his own heavy creations) have made Takibi pretty strong (when he doesn't have MESS). He's also unharmed by the lava and magma on Vulcanio and unaffected by the heat.

Relationships:

Maroshi- Takibi tends to get annoyed by Maroshi's irresponsibility and considers his relaxation methods (and approach to life) "rather lackadaisical." Nevertheless, he still sees Maroshi as a great friend.

Kiyoshi- Once Takibi saw Kiyoshi's scientific experiments and discoveries, the two quickly started bonding over their shared love for science (seeing Takibi's condition might've actually been how Kiyoshi discovered MESS in the first place). Also, when Takibi found out about what Twisted Unicorn had done to Kiyoshi in the past, he immediately wanted to kill Twisted (even more). After that whole debacle, Takibi and Kiyoshi started staying in touch via Message Meteors (which Takibi's Dragos can send, and theirs look like fireballs), often exchanging scientific discoveries.

Kiazuki- You know what a tsundere is? Well, imagine a (non-romantic) relationship between two of them. That's pretty much how Takibi and Kiazuki would get along.

Hanazuki- She'd pretty much see him as like a boy version of Kiazuki. Meanwhile, he'd kinda see her as being like Kiyoshi's little sister (or girlfriend).

Mamiko- Upon first meeting her, Takibi was quick to attack. However, after swordfighting for a few minutes, the two started bonding over each other's swordsmanship and the craftsmanship of each other's weapons (Takibi also convinced Mamiko to rename her cutlass to the "Star Slasher"). They also joined Kiyoshi and Kiazuki in putting a Treasure juice-powered Spacesurfer together.

Dazzlessence Jones- Seeing a walking, talking diamond would definitely leave Takibi in a state of shock. After that, he'd be annoyed by Dazz's ego over being "just a living piece of compressed carbon."

Enormous Coal- Takibi would always use air quotes around the "Enormous" part, and he'd believe that EC would be more formidable if he weren't so blinded by his own ego and carelessness.

Trivia: -Even without MESS, Takibi has asthma.

-He'd probably believe that all moons should have their own names.

-I think he'd be voiced by David Kaufman, Yuri Lowenthal, Scott Menville, Zeno Robinson, or Bryce Papenbrook.

-His name means "fire" and often signifies goals.
