102 - Andrew Garfield

I first met him when I was 16 it was September of 2007, I was on Jimmy Kimmel for my new movie that was about to come up. 

" We have the beautiful Y/n Y/l/n here today! " Jimmy screams, which I just laugh as I walk out giving him a hug, and then sitting down. " We have to talk about your new movie, but you said something in an interview about your crush on Andrew Garfield, " he adds. 

" I don't like you, but yes... I mean he's a really good looking guy. And on top of that amazing actor, " I tell him, which causes him to nod. 

I feel someone touch my shoulder, and I turn to see Andrew, and I immediately drop out of my chair, he comes around and sits next to me. And I immediately start tearing up. He just hugs me, and helping me up. " Jimmy... you're not nice to me, you don't do that! " I tell him, which causes both of them to start chuckling lightly. 

" Andrew Garfield everybody! " Jimmy screams to the crowd, which causes everybody to cheer. 

" So, Y/n meet Andrew. Andrew meet Y/n, " he comments, which causes me to shake my head. 

" Hi Y/n pleasure to meet you, " Andrew tells me, I just continue nodding while he's holding my hand. 

" She's a little nervous, " Jimmy comments, which causes him to nod. 

" Wow, hi... hi I'm Y/n, " I tell him. " It's a pleasure... pleasure to meet you, " I add, he nods towards me which a smile. " I'm really nervous right now, " I add. 

" We can tell, " Jimmy jokes, which causes me to chuckle. 

" Thanks... thanks for calling me out here, with... with Andrew right here, " I comment, which causes both of them to laugh. 

" Hey I know you're a fan of me, but I have to say I'm a fan of her as well, she's an amazing actress, " he comments, which causes my heart to drop. 

" Andrew you're going to give her a heart attack, it's okay breathe, " Jimmy jokes again, which causes me to laugh. 

" I'm sorry, hey I got the honor to see her in this film, and it's absolutely amazing truly it is, she's going to get so many awards, I already know it, " he tells the crowd, which causes me to continue smiling. 

After that interview we took a picture together, and I was smiling so brightly in the photo, our paths didn't cross again until 2011, where we star across from each other in Neptune's Last Stop, which is a story of a girl who wants to achieve all of her dreams before he life is cut short. 

I played Neptune, and Andrew played Jamie, the boy who helped her achieve those dreams. 

" Let me guess, one of them is to be kissed by a boy? " he comments, which causes me to look at him and just shake my head. 

" I'm 17, I've been kissed before. So no, being kissed by a boy is not on the list, " I tell him, which causes him to just chuckle. 

Many fans will say that we fell in love during that film, but it wasn't necessarily the case. It was one scene, that made it all come to light. And that was her break out scene. The scene that people say is the reason why I won best leading actress that year. 

" Jamie just shut up! I get it, you're older than me! I know, okay! I'm dying, the doctors are saying I won't live to be 18! Do you know how much that sucks! I'll never be married, I'll never have kids, I'll-I'll never be loved by a man! " I scream. " I have spent the last 2 years with this sickness' hand our my throat, and I haven't been able to live or do anything! I'm dying, and I'm I'm terrified Jamie, and people tell me I'm strong, please tell me of wow at such a young age you're so strong! Can people just stop telling me that! And I understand that you don't like me back... okay, but for one minute can you stop acting like I don't know what you're talking about!? Please, just treat me like a human being! " I then scream at him, which causes him to look at me in complete shock. He said nothing and walked up to me and kissed me, which I quickly kissed him back. 

The amount of comments I got, everyone saying that power of that scene moved them to tears. And when I won the Oscar, I told all of the ladies how I did not think I would win. And Meryl came up to me later saying that she thought that if the award didn't go to me she would know something was wrong, because she said I deserved it. 

Andrew and I started dating in 2012, right after the premiere of the movie, he came up to me and admitted everything. Saying how that scene made him realize the truth. 

" It wasn't the ending that hit me, it was the beginning, you screaming at me that you understood that you were younger. And that I just needed to shut up, I realized then that I liked you. And it hurt me, because I was the reason you were crying, that you were upset, " he tells me. " And... and I- if you want, would love to take you out to dinner, one night this week, " he adds. I nod towards him. 

I fell in love with him quickly, and he quickly fell for me. We dated for several years, and in 2016 we got married in secret. And started married life, of course the wedding was completely beautiful, and for our one year anniversary we posted that we had been married. And it was hilarious seeing the reactions of fans. 

" You recently said you got married, you've been married! " James says which causes me to chuckle. " Have to say you were a lovely bride, " he adds, showing a picture of me at the wedding. 

" Thank you, " I tell him quickly. 

" Why did you keep it private? " He asks me, that became the number one question we got asked. 

" Honestly, we just wanted the privacy of it. We kept the engagement private, and decided to keep the wedding private as well, " I tell him, which causes him to nod. 

He's been my rock since the beginning, he's the best thing I could have asked for. And then I got pregnant. 

" Hey baby, can you get that for me? " I ask him, he nods towards me going to get me a bowl, and placing it down he notices that something is in it. I turn to him as he realizes what it is and what's on it. 

" You're kidding, " he tells me, which causes me to chuckle towards him, he immediately grabs a hold of me spinning me around. " You're kidding, you're pregnant! " He cheers, which causes me to laugh. " You're! You're going to be a mom! " He tells me, which causes me to laugh. 

" When I was told about this story I knew I immediately needed to be apart of it, my wife who is absolutely amazing in every way. Reminded me so much of her, I knew I wanted to star in this fantastic film, and I'm so happy I did, because I was able to show how she loves, she is probably the most loving person ever, and if you think she loves me a lot. You should see how she loves our son, she's absolutely amazing, I love you baby! " He tells me. 

" I love you too, " I tell him. I'm holding our son, Jamie, and he's smiling. He's proud of his dad. 

Covid hit and that changed a little bit, we welcomed in our second son, first daughter into the family in February of that year. And everyday, I am falling in love with him again and again and again. And I'm so thankful, that I was given the chance to meet him. And to be able to love him.
