Chapter Eight (Seth's POV)

Start from the beginning

"I told her I didn't love her, she was talking about something called imprinting while she packed up. I promised her I wouldn't go looking for her, or follow her. Then she ran off after crying and yelling at me some."

Everyone in the room stopped dead. No one spoke, no one so much as breathed they all stared at me worried of what I would do.

"You told her that I didn't love her?"

"Basically. What you see can be so deceiving, can it not?"He transformed back into me for a moment to make a point, then changed back to the other person.

"Why did you do that!?"

"I was told to."

"By who!?" I asked before getting interrupted by Lukas.

He had dissappeared for a few moments during this lunatic's and my conversation and just now appeared again with a letter in his hand.

"I knew my little sister wouldn't leave without telling me some thing." He waved the letter in the air with a smile on his face.

"What's it say?" Chelsea asked, obviously distressed from this attack on her family by another coven of vampires than the werewolves we were expecting.

"It's not pretty." He said handing me over the letter. It read:

Lukas,

Seth doesn't love me, not even a little. He feels no remourse as he watches me pack and I know he can hear me cry. I've wasted half a century, fifty some odd years, of my life waiting for someone that doesn't even care to watch me leave.

I'm going to finish my travels, maybe one day I will come back but not until I'm sure the werewolves that are there today are long gone. I won't stand around and be the crazy girl he doesn't want around.

My first stop is to every cold place I can imagine then its beaches mixed with cities, I have a phone but I can only send you messages, there is no way to contact me. I will send you a picture from where ever I am at least once a day, I promise. Tell the family I will see them before they know it.

Good bye,

Sara.

"This is your fault!" I yelled punching "Matt" in the face repeatedly. Was that even his real name or face?

"That doesn't help us, Seth!" Daniel yelled yanking me off of Matt.

"Who told you to do this?" Drake asked.

"A girl named Kaitlyn. She tried lying about her name, but I got it out of her. She was smoking hot, I'd do anything for that girl."

"What did she give you in exchange?"Cole questioned.

"A date."

"You made the girl I have feelings for run away so that you could go on a date with my sister!" I yelled, making sure she could hear me from outside in her hiding spot. I heard Matt gulp as I stalked from the den toward the door to confront my sister.

Kaitlyn was slowly sauntering toward me as I stepped through the door. Her head hung low while Scott followed her, caution evident in his eyes. Both had changed clothes after being in wolf form so long, and exhaustion showed on their faces.

"Why did you do it Kaitlyn!?"

"Because she isn't good enough for you!"

"If I was meant to imprint on her, she is clearly 'good enough' for me!"

"She's a vampire! What we were made to fight against!"

"Things change!"

"It's a centuries long fight! She can't make it right! It's not natural!"

"You're just upset because you haven't imprinted. Maybe if you looked at everyone instead of focusing on an Ex that doesn't want you maybe you'd find someone!" I said hinting at her long term ex-boyfriend, Cody.

"Seth!"

"No Kate! You were wrong! You're wrong about Sara and you're wrong about vampires! Why couldn't you let me be happy?"

"All I want is for you to be happy! You're my brother!"

"Then why couldn't you see that I love her? Why couldn't you leave her alone?"

"Because I'm also supposed to protect you."

"Well good luck with that because I'm going after her!" I said, turning to leave. Although I was stopped by Cole.

"Sara sent us a picture." He turned to show me a picture of the northern lights. "She could be anywhere Seth. It's going to take time to track her down."
