the night went on then the morning came and they were at the airport waiting for their flight to be called

Keith: you're walking like a penguin
Y: i wonder why
Keith: so am i hmm you must be cheating
Y: shut up

keith laughed and squeezed y/ns thigh while she hit his hand and he kept doing it over and over again until she moved seats

Keith: come back over here
Y: no
Keith: can you come back over here
Y: i said no
Keith: then i'll come to you

keith grabbed his things and moved next to y/n but she scooted away again so they kept doing that until she fell onto the floor and keith laughed at her after a while he picked her up sitting her down on his lap and shaking his leg making her lightly bounce

Y: this is giving me ptsd from yesterday
Keith: how you didn't make it to the bouncing part you didn't even make it past the sitting part
Y: you suck
Keith: so will you
Y: huh
Keith: i ain't say none

y/n didn't hear what keith said so she just shrugged it off getting on her phone until their flight was called and they got on sitting in their seats and watching as it took off while y/n looked out the window

Y: ugh i love flying
Keith: you've never said that before
Y: because it's never been important but i love being up on the sky it makes me feel like a bird and i envy them because they fly around freely going where they want when they want and leaving behind any memory of where they were before
Keith: i'm gonna keep that in mind
Y: why
Keith: you ask too many questions
Y: asking questions saves lives
Keith: i mean unless you ask the wrong person and they kill you
Y: i swear you say the most random shit ever
Keith: i'm just saying if you asked like a murder a bunch of questions they probably would kill you but if you asked me then wait nah i'd still kill you

y/n laughed hitting keiths shoulder while he laughed as well and they continued on having a different conversation they talked the whole plane ride back to LA when they made it they went straight to where kiya was knocking on the door then walking in looking for amerie seeing she as in a room with kobe

Y: oh never mind
Kobe: did you come to get her
Y: actually yea i did
Kobe: well too bad i want to keep her longer
Y: jeez ok

y/n walked up to him kissing amerie on the head saying she loved her while she looked up smiling then reaching her hands out so she looked at kobe then picked her up giving her multiple kisses on her cheek making her laugh

Y: i missed you and i'll be back to get you very soon but your dad is being a pain in the butt right now so he wants you to stay with him just for now though i'll be back my love

y/n handed amerie back to kobe then she walked out the room going downstairs seeing keith talking to her mom while she stood there

Y: um what's going on
Keith: this lady is hella cool
Y: that's my mom
Keith: oh the one- oh sorry
Y/m: i'm guessing you heard the things she's been spreading about me
Y: i told him everything you did if that's what you mean
Y/m: you barely talk to me anymore
Y: well you did that to yourself
Y/m: i did it to myself because i wanted a life
Y: a life where you pushed everyone else away that's messed up
Keith: can i talk to you for a second

keith grabbed y/ns hand then they walked outside and he let go

Keith: stop it
Y: stop what
Keith: being so rude
Y: you know what she did
Keith: and obviously it's bothering her or she wouldn't be here regardless of what she did she's your mom the least you can do is be respectful because family and respect means a lot to me and you know that you don't ever have to forgive her but she took care of you for seventeen years and stayed with a man she didn't even want to be with for you everything she did was for you and you're being hella rude yes she left and it sucked but she deserved and still does deserve to live her life ok she made you take care of your brother but he was and is old enough to understand everything and take care of himself yea he can't drive or whatever and now he can nothing changed besides she moved if you want to be mad at anyone be mad at your dad not the woman who stuck around through the worst of the worst

y/n took in a deep breath then she walked back into the house

Y/m: i got to see amerie she's adorable she looks just like you and kobe
Y: thank you i'm sure she enjoyed seeing her grandma
Y/m: yes indeed but that kobe boy was so rude about it
Y: he's just mad i left him
Y/m: oh well it's about time i never liked you with that boy
Y: yea mom i know
Y/m: if you listened to me none of this would've happened i only want whats best for you and a mother knows when someone isn't right for her baby and if i may add you and keith make a great couple
Y: you told her we're together
Keith: i didn't tell her anything
Y/m: well i mean it's not everyday a man looks at my daughter the way you do it's really cute and i remember what you used to dream about was and he just looks like the type that would make them come true oh he also held your hand very gently it was cute
