they sat on the mattress then a few minutes passed and the furniture came they brought all of it putting it wherever it went while they made sure it was in the right spot after hours they were finished and y/n and kobe were in the room putting the bed sheets on the bed as well as the pillows sheets covers etc once all of that was done y/n opened her suitcase and grabbed the bear kobe bought her placing it on the nightstand next to her side of the bed then he grabbed his keys once she sat down

Y: where you going
Kobe: i'll be right back i promise
Y: ok stay safe
Kobe: will do i love you

kobe walked out the room then the house while y/n showered then got out getting in her pajamas and getting under the cover turning on a random movie and laying down about to go to sleep until she heard the room door open and she sat up turning the lamp on and seeing kobe walking in with balloons a bouquet of yellow roses a yellow rose bear a card and some boxes

Y: what is this for
Kobe: check the time
Y: it's twelve pm you left at eight
Kobe: that's not what i asked
Y: well it's twelve smart ass
Kobe: ok and you seriously don't know what today is
Y: it's not our anniversary i would've remembered that it's not valentine's day it's not easter it's not your birthday damn kobe what's today

y/n grabbed the boxes opening each one by one there was multiple pairs of beautiful heels in one a necklace in one earrings in another and the last one had a bunch of crap so she went through it seeing gift cards money lots of it then she reached the bottom seeing a pregnancy test and she looked at kobe

y/n got up from the bed hugging kobe while he hugged her back rubbing her back when they pulled away she gave him a long kiss while he kissed her back then she sat on the bed opening the nightstand looking at kobe and putting the tests in there then she put on one of the heels looking at them on her foot and smiling then she tried on the multiple others once she stopped she looked at the rings and necklaces rubbing her hands along the bright diamonds then the bouquet of roses and the gift cards seeing ones to starbucks, chick-fil-a, chipotle, in and out, jack in a box, and many more

Y: i love my gifts but i feel bad
Kobe: why
Y: kobe i know all of this is real meaning you spent hella money on it
Kobe: it wasn't that much
Y: you bought me red bottoms jimmy choos gucci dolce and gabbana ysl like you bought expensive shit you bought me real diamonds kobe

Y: no but you didn't have to spend this much
Kobe: exactly but i did there's always gonna be more money but i don't know when the last time i'll be able to spend it on you is when you got with me i had borderline to nothing ever since i've been with you i've had more money than i've known what to do with this isn't my money it's ours everything we do is a team effort and i'm really sorry if there was ever a time i made you think anything different and that's where the card comes in

Kobe: hey y/n we made it to LA a few days ago and i can admit our first day here i was a dick i was just upset and pressured about everything going on which wasn't fair because you probably felt the same way i'm a dick sometimes yes i know i say rude shit and i need to work on that every time i hurt your feelings i feel like shit after because when i proposed to you that was my promise to always make you smile and laugh and sometimes i feel like i'm slacking or like maybe there's someone else who can do better than me but i see how you stay next to me in large crowds almost as if i'm protecting you and i feel amazing i feel like maybe you do need me and it feels great being needed by somebody i watched you go from seventeen to nineteen and i can honestly say it's great slowly growing old with you and going through this process called life with you by my side and i hope when we're twenty i'll have the chance to be spoiling you again i mean if we're together or not i'm still gonna do it but i want you to know you're the only girl i'll ever want in my life and i'm wishing you a very happy nineteenth birthday i love you so much
