y/n told kiya everything she used and how she color coats her showers so she asked more questions about the products she would recommend and the ones she wouldn't she asked so many that vanessa went to work and kobe took a three hour nap when he woke up he saw kiya was now asking y/n what clothes she wears so he just gave kiya y/ns number and grabbed her hand walking out while they waved bye to each other when they got back in the car kobe let out a loud sigh and y/n laughed

Kobe: you're never coming back fucking nerd
Y: why not i feel way better
Kobe: y'all talked for three fucking hours
Y: ok but i love your sister she's great
Kobe: you can have her if it makes y'all never have that long of a conversation ever again
Y: we didn't even talk that much
Kobe: y'all talked about face routine shower color coated routine hair routine all three of those took you three fucking hours then y'all started talking about clothes i refuse to take another damn nap
Y: ok but i bet you'd want me to do your face
Kobe: yea now i do because i want to see what all the hype's about
Y: exactly
Kobe: so are you coming to my party tonight or what
Y: if kiya is there then i'm coming one hundred percent
Kobe: yes she'll be there
Y: then yes i'm coming
Kobe: good
Y: for someone who hates me you sure do want me around a lot
Kobe: don't push it

y/n laughed making kobe smile then he put his hand behind y/ns head rest and turned around backing out of the driveway with one hand on the wheel while she watched him once he was completely backed out her faced back forward and started driving while y/n looked back straight ahead

Kobe: so you've met my family
Y: i didn't meet your dad
Kobe: him and my mom aren't together so he isn't around like that but whenever he's here you can meet him
Y: fair enough
Kobe: now tell me why you were crying
Y: my mom is divorcing my dad and moving to topeka to start a new family with her boyfriend
Kobe: oh wow didn't expect that
Y: neither did i
Kobe: well my parents divorced and it was shit so if you ever need someone to talk to who can relate to the matter then i'm your guy
Y: you know whenever you're not bullying me and being a complete dick you're actually pretty easy to be around
Kobe: i'm gonna take out the complete dick part and say thank you
Y: oh no keep that part in its essential

kobe looked at y/n smiling and shaking his head while he continued driving y/n kept giving him directions to her house and once he made it he parked in front of it

Kobe: nice house
Y: thanks
Kobe: how does it look on the inside
Y: yea nice try i'm not letting you in
Kobe: i let you in mine
Y: ok but mine is a shit show at the moment i'm not letting someone witness that
Kobe: i've witnessed it with my parents
Y: and did you want anyone around
Kobe: no
Y: ok then please i'll let you in one day when everything isn't crumbling down
Kobe: ok that's fair
Y: thank you
Kobe: see you later tonight right
Y: yea
Kobe: it starts at eight be there by seven thirty or i will be banging on your door
Y: you wouldn't do that
Kobe: don't be there by seven thirty and find out

y/n shook her head smiling then opened the door getting out and waving she walked to the door seeing he was still sitting there so she just unlocked the door walking in and once she closed the door he was still there so she was confused until her phone buzzed with a message from an unknown number and it was kobe telling her to lock the door so she smiled at her phone then locked the door and told him she did then he drove off while she smiled watching after that she saved his number then jogged upstairs laying on her bed putting her phone to her chest kicking her legs and letting out a small scream at that moment her mom walked in and she sat up while her smile slowly faded

Y/m: hey baby
Y: what do you want
Y/m: i know it's hard to accept me and your dad splitting up but i haven't been happy in years and the guy i'm with now makes me feel like me again
Y: i can get you finding someone else i can get you and dad divorcing because as people change feelings change but i can't get why you need to move seventeen hours away and just forget that me and cohen even exist so when we need you what are we supposed to do wish on a star
Y/m: i'm sorry honey but his family is in topeka so that's where i need to be
Y: so he's not moving for his family but you're gonna move for yours do you not see a problem with that
Y/m: we're both sacrificing things
Y: really because it seems like you're the only one sacrificing shit
Y/m: y/n
Y: mom just stop stop trying to act like what you're doing is ok stop trying to act like i'm just supposed to accept it and stop acting like this isn't what you want because you want to leave you want to start over and you want to forget that me and cohen even existed
Y/m: i'm not trying to forget y'all
Y: well if you leave we're going to because i'm not gonna let us go through that i'm not gonna let us live thinking it's our fault you left when really it's just you being selfish it's not fair to us and it's not a burden we should have on our shoulders i'm so sorry it's hard for you to just stay if not for us for dad but hey it's a way of life now as nice as possible please get out of my room
