jihoon sighed walking out the house while kay and safia shook their heads and went into her room while all that was going on kobe and y/n were now fully dressed in their pajamas and he had his head between her legs facing his tv playing the game again while she messed with his hair and sitting in comfortable silence when her mom called and she sighed answering the phone

Y: what
Y/m: i just wanted to let you know i made it to topeka
Y: congrats
Y/m: how are you and cohen
Y: we're good
Y/m: can you give him the phone
Y: of course you didn't call to talk to me can't you just call him
Y/m: he's not answering any of my calls
Y: well maybe you should take the hint
Y/m: i didn't want to leave you guys i had to
Y: yea mom i'm sure you did
Y/m: if i could come back i would
Y: mhm that's crazy
Y/m: are you ever gonna forgive me for leaving
Y: not a chance in hell
Y/m: i took care of you for seventeen years it's my time to live for myself
Y: yea seventeen years i think you're missing that extra year
Y/m: why are you so mad at me
Y: because i don't get why you had to leave
Y/m: your dad left as well but i'm getting all the shit at least i'm still in the picture
Y: neither one of you are in the picture because neither one of you are around it's just me and cohen i'm not mad at either of you i'm fucking pissed but i guess i don't have that right because i'm seventeen i'll be fine right
Y/m: yes you're old enough and in a few months you'll be a legal adult
Y: and what about cohen huh a fourteen year old boy is old enough to take care of himself too
Y/m: he has you and he makes money from his little tiktok thing
Y: why should your motherly duties fall on me because you decided to leave us
Y/m: i didn't leave y'all
Y: then what do you call it
Y/m: just tell cohen to call me
Y: no i think it's best if you don't talk to either of us

y/n hung up sighing then she placed her phone down and went back messing with kobes hair and watching him play until he paused the game and she sighed once again

Kobe: don't sigh at me
Y: i know what you're about to say
Kobe: what's that
Y: that i should give her some leeway because at least she wants to keep in contact
Kobe: then why aren't you getting it
Y: because she didn't even call for me she called for cohen
Kobe: because he won't answer her but you did
Y: so
Kobe: so you must miss her a little or you would've ignored her as well
Y: i do not miss her
Kobe: then why are you giving her such a hard time
Y: i don't know i guess a part of me wishes she would've stayed
Kobe: she's right baby
Y: right about what kobe
Kobe: you being old enough to take care of yourself
Y: i know i am but i shouldn't have to take care of someone else as well because she isn't around
Kobe: yea that part might sucks but so what show her how good you are without her while being civil that's the best way to get back at someone do better when they're not around than you did when they were
Y: fine but can we talk about how you're wearing one of the bandannas i gave you
Kobe: cute right
Y: super cute
Kobe: wanna go somewhere
Y: where's somewhere
Kobe: come on i'll show you
Y: sure

kobe got up and grabbed y/ns hand and they both changed into a plain shirt with joggers then they walked downstairs and out the door getting in his car and driving off they went to the store walking in and y/n looked at him confused

Y: i'm so confused
Kobe: i'm hungry

y/n laughed then kobe grabbed her hand again while they walked inside going on a bunch of aisles while kobe kept picking crap up and handing some to y/n to carry once both of their hands was full they looked at each other then y/n walked off while kobe kept looking when she came back she had a basket and he smiled putting his things in it then they continued walking around and messing with each other once they were done they paid then put everything in the car getting in and going to a drive in movie they sat there eating and watching the movie while kobe kept touching y/n with his feet and she hit them out of her face

Y: i'm about to cut them bitches off
Kobe: you know you like my toes
Y: no i don't actually
Kobe: why not
Y: because it's gross everything about you is gross
Kobe: well that means you have some of my grossness
Y: and how's that
Kobe: if i recall less than two hours ago i was very much so inside you
Y: and i very much so hate you shut up

kobe laughed and wrapped his arm around y/n so she leaned her head on his lap going back to watching the movie

Kobe: does this movie suck to you
Y: yes it's pure ass

y/n and kobe laughed while she sat up then they decided to leave so they got back up front and drove off just driving around without a certain destination after driving around for a while they parked in a random empty dark parking lot and got on top of the car looking at the stars while the music from the radio was still playing
