today was the day kobe was leaving it was also the day of graduation kobe and y/n have now been together for nine months kobe was in his room putting on a plain white t-shirt with red and white joggers while y/n was in her room putting on a bra with a suit vest and black dress pants with her hair braided again with their gowns over it when she was finished she got in her car picking up lucianna kristen sharan dayshawn messiah smitty and tatyana and they drove to the school when they made it they saw everyone else there so they took their seats y/n ended up having to sit next to kay jihoon safia brooke and kaitlyn even though her and kaitlyn were cool they didn't talk that much so it was still kind of awkward while they were all back there dayshawn kobe mike and everyone else was two rows in front of them once they started calling people up everyone was going up getting their diploma and shaking the principals hand when y/n went up there they gave her the diploma shook her hand then asked her to say a few words since she graduated at the top of her class so she agreed then stood at the podium grabbing the mic

Y: uhh hi this is last minute so i have no idea what i'm gonna say but i'm gonna start by saying this year was crazy not like lunatic crazy i mean the kind of crazy where you're rushing to classes because you slept in after a party crazy because you're losing friends faster than you can even think i started this year with four of the prettiest girls you could ever see sad to say i'm not ending the year with them but behind every loss is a blessing that blessing was thirteen people plus someone else but he's not the main topic right now those thirteen people came in my life and changed it in amazing ways they're always there for late night conversations about just anything just there being themselves making anyone around laugh especially me dayshawn is my favorite no offense guys but rest are lucianna sharan kristen tatyana smitty messiah mike derek vallyk tony jaiden and angel thirteen dumb people who'd i go above and beyond for now that's friends let talk about this cheesy topic most of y'all are graduating with a boyfriend or girlfriend and don't lie you're gonna be taking pictures with them after this conversation

everyone in the audience was laughing because most of them knew it was true

Y: well unlike most i'm graduating with a fiancé yea i know you're gonna think what she's only eighteen and that was the same thing going on my mind when he asked because we were only five months into our relationship at the time yea see but four months later and he's still there now people go on about these fairytale love stories i'm gonna tell you now they're fake they make it seem like as long as you do everything they ask then you're good as long as you laugh everyday you're good but they don't show that there's times when you feel like some is wrong and they won't tell you and your trust issues start acting up there's times when sometimes communication is just off and next thing you know you're yelling in each other's faces yea i see some of you looking around yea it happens one time i slapped him so hard my hand was stinging for almost three hours we're not even gonna get in that conversation though this is about everything from relationships to friendships to making it being able to sit here after for me fourteen years of stress anxiety and up until freshman year depression yes it's real and school can do that to you but that's life nothing is going to be perfect no matter how hard you try and trust us we try so let's take the mentality using now in life and apply that to everyday class of .... we made it

everyone got up clapping and y/n let out a sigh of relief waving and stepping off stage at that time the principal said a few words then they threw their caps in the air yelling after a while everyone was walking off going to their friends and family when y/n was about to go to the others safia jihoon kay and kaitlyn walked up to her

Safia: you meant what you said
Y: of course i did
Kay: can we be friends again
Y: i'm sorry i love you guys and you're still pretty to me but after everything that happened y'all picked jihoon over me and that's something i can never forgive y'all stabbed me in the back when i thought y'all were the ones that would always stay solid and i can't have that in my circle i wish you nothing but the best though
Jihoon: stubborn like always
Y: have a nice life jihoon

y/n walked off to the others and they all smiled at her then gave her a hug then dayshawn gave her one as well almost squeezing the life out of her

Dayshawn: i knew i was the favorite
Y: haha bruh bye am i the favorite is the real question
Dayshawn: of course just don't tell anyone
Kobe: bae where's my bae at

y/n turned around and kobe was skipping to her making her laugh then he picked her up off the ground hugging her tight and and she hugged him just as tight

Kobe: we're finally done
Y: we sure are
Kobe: why don't you seem happy
Y: because that means you leave today
Kobe: five months and i'll be back
Y: ugh
Kobe: i know i'm just hard to live without
Y: don't push it

kobe laughed making y/n smile then he kissed her over and over again before placing her back on her feet and hugging her rocking side to side
