once i got in my room i closed the door then walked into my bathroom locking the door behind me and getting completely naked while turning the knob in the shower to make sure the water was hot once it was hot enough to steam up the mirror i got inside feeling instant relief from the day i picked up my pink loofah wetting it up then putting my rose water and pink sea salt body scrub and wash then i started scrubbing it all over my body after that i got my pink shaving cream rubbing it all over my legs and gently shaving upwards making sure not to knick myself once i was done i got my watermelon scrub from victoria secret and scrubbed it on my legs then i just did my basic hair washing routine once i was done i turned the water off then got out wrapping myself with a towel and standing in front of my mirror wiping the fog i grabbed my products putting them in my hair then i did my routine just like yesterday once i finished putting it in low buns and putting on my bonnet i grabbed my face oils i got the one to prevent inflammation and the one to make my skin glow after that i brushed my teeth then put on my whitening strips and added in my led mouthpiece when i got out my bathroom cohen was sitting on my bed

Cohen: you gonna do mine tonight

i shook my head yes and he got up walking out to shower while i closed my door drying off then putting my towels and clothes in the hamper while pulling out my matching victoria secret set with a pair of regular pajamas once i was all dressed i laid on my bed with my mouthpiece still in watching a movie until it was time for me to take it out so i spit then removed the strips putting in mouth wash and switching it in my mouth back and forth by the time i spit cohen came in so i did is face routine then he picked his two oils and i put them on him then i dried his hair and did what i did to mine to his once he was done he gave me a hug and i hugged him back then he told me he loved me so i said it back while he left out and i closed my door laying on my bed turning off my lights and turning my led lights to dark blue then i turned off my tv getting under the cover and putting the blanket all the way to my neck having one leg straight and the other one bent to the side then i fell asleep i once again woke up to my alarm and my mom knocking on my door i let her know i was awake then i undid my bonnet and buns while putting on a pair of black jeans with a pink tie front crop top and my air jordan twelve retro g's that are arctic pink after that i grabbed my phone off the charger and walked downstairs sitting at the table seeing cohen already down there

Y/m: y'all are always so dressed up for school
Y: you only bought us so dressed up clothes
Y/m: oh it's just because i'm the best
Cohen: yes mom you're the best
Y/m: so we have some news for you guys
Y: ok what's up
Y/m: after years of feeling unhappy me and your dad have decided to get a divorce

boom that's when the weight of the world fell on us i watched as cohen faced completely dropped his eyes said everything he was feeling for me my mouth was about to do all the talking

Y: what why
Y/m: i love your dad but these past few years have been like a hell to me
Y: have y'all even tried to work it out
Y/m: yes honey we tried but it's not working
Y/d: your mom has a new boyfriend that she's been with while she was waiting to divorce me she's only now finalizing it because she wants to get pregnant by him and move

Y: that's almost seventeen hours away
Y/m: i know but i'll see y'all on holidays and your birthdays
Y: but you'll see your other kids all day every day nice come on cohen

me and cohen got up and i grabbed my keys walking out the door i was fighting back tears so hard when we got in the car i drove off speeding i wasn't even hungry i just wanted to go to school and leave when we made it to the parking lot i looked at cohen seeing he was silently crying so i pulled him into a hug just rubbing his back as he cried onto my shoulder i told him he could stay in the car then i gave him my keys while i kissed his head then walked off going into the building the girls came up talking to me and i used my best fake smile once i made it to first block i sat down and kobe sat next to me

Kobe: hey y/n
Y: i don't feel like playing today kobe
Kobe: what's wrong with you
Y: nothing
Kobe: dang if you want me to leave halfway across the country just say that

when he said that i thought of my mom and i couldn't hold it back no more i started crying hard i got up walking out the class during the lecture and i sat in the hallway just crying a few minutes past and i was taking deep breaths trying to slow them down and kobe came in front of me so i put my head down

Kobe: are you ok

you little fucker why would you ask me that he made me cry even harder i felt like i could cry for days and i still wouldn't be done
