cohen went to his room and i went to mine putting on shorts and an oversized tee shirt then putting my hair in a high bun and laying on my bed thinking about everything that happened in one freaking day i kept thinking until i closed my eyes trying to take a nap but i woke up to cohen slapping my head

Y: what dude
Cohen: you gotta take me to the movies

i rolled my eyes and pushed myself out of bed putting on my slippers then going downstairs grabbing my keys and walking out with cohen right behind me we got in my car then drove off by the time we made it to the movies i saw aya getting out of her car i handed cohen a hundred dollar bill and when he got out the car i told him i loved him then waited for him to say it back once he did i drove off going back home i knew i would have to pick him up so i just stayed in the driveway locked my doors put the seat all the way back turned on some giveon then i grabbed my blanket i keep in the car and i laid down i fell asleep for what felt like a second when i woke up to my phone buzzing i thought it was cohen but it was actually kay so i answered

Y: what's up
Kay: what you doing
Y: sleeping in my car
Kay: why
Y: because i have to pick cohen up from the movies soon and i don't feel like going back inside
Kay: makes sense i guess anyways we need to find something to wear to your boyfriends party
Y: he's not my boyfriend and i'm not going
Kay: what you have to
Y: and why's that
Kay: because i want to go
Y: then go
Kay: but i'm not going if you don't y/n come on i need to see mikes fine ass
Y: you don't need to see him
Kay: yes i do bitch i need it i need it y/n please
Y: ok kay calm down
Kay: also derek wants kaitlyn to come and vallyk wants jihoon to come as well
Y: what about safia
Kay: i don't know they say they have a friend for her
Y: i hope that's true
Kay: so are you going
Y: if i don't you're just gonna cry about it so yea i am
Kay: perfect now what are we wearing
Y: the color theme is red
Kay: ooo i could be a vampire
Y: babe it's not a costume party wear a damn red dress
Kay: ok ok well i'm gonna find a dress then i'll call you back to show you
Y: alright

i hung up then put my phone back down checking the time seeing it was eight at night i started wondering if cohen was ok and i was about to call him until he called me instead letting me know he was ready so i drove off going back to the movie theatre watching as he gave aya a hug then got in the car and i pulled off

Y: how was it
Cohen: it was fun
Y: good
Cohen: thank you for taking me and giving me money
Y: of course as long as you had fun then that's all i care about you know won't be young forever
Cohen: is it scary growing up
Y: yea it is but if you have people in your circle that are loyal to you then it's really easy and it'll be fun as well growing up doesn't mean you can't have fun it just means sometimes you have to prioritize other things before fun
Cohen: ugh sounds like hell
Y: it's not that bad i promise
Cohen: what do you think the worst part is
Y: uhh your friends splitting up going on to do different things and watching as everyone gets new hobbies and different personalities and slowly and slowly grow apart while you're trying to hold everyone together it feels like sometimes you're the only one trying that's the worst part
Cohen: i'm sorry if that's what's happening with your group
Y: don't be sorry it's apart of life everyone grows apart sooner or later and they leave it's an endless cycle until you find the people that are perfect for you and who knows how long that takes
Cohen: i always thought the hardest part of growing up as a kid was watching your parents grow old it's like watching something you love slowly die in front of you your whole life and there's nothing you can do but watch and pray it's not soon
Y: wow i guess i didn't think of that
Cohen: do you think you'll be sad when mom and dad pass
Y: of course they might argue a lot and have moments where sometimes i just want to run away but through all of that they're my parents and they were there for me i can never repay them for that
Cohen: can you promise me something
Y: anything
Cohen: whenever you get ready to move take me with you ok
Y: ok
Cohen: say you promise i can't live in that house by myself y/n
Y: i promise no matter where i move and no matter how far you'll be right next to me i will not leave you in that house alone cohen
Cohen: good
Y: where did all this come from
Cohen: the damn romcom aya made me watch

all i could do was laugh thankfully it made cohen laugh as well i already knew when i moved no matter how much he got on my nerves that i was taking him with me wether my parents agree to it or not anyways when i got out my thoughts and made it home we got out the car and walked inside and i put my keys down then walked upstairs with cohen until we split up going to our rooms
