four months passed and y/n was sitting in the living room with kobe wrapped in a cover slowly swaying side to side when she felt a sharp pain and she let out a small yell getting his attention as she stood up with water pouring down her leg

Kobe: oh my ok i'll get your hospital bad and you just go to the car

kobe gave y/n the keys and she went to the car while he ran upstairs grabbing his keys and her bag and just in case the baby's bag as well then they got in the car driving off while kobe went way over the speed limit when they made it they went inside getting her signed in then they rushed her to a room telling her to get undressed and handing her a ride so kobe helped her put it on then he called everyone letting them know it was time

Y: why are you panicking she's not coming out alive
Kobe: you painted and decorated a whole nursery so if you thought she wouldn't make it then you wouldn't have done it admit it you have hope
Y: i do but i'm scared what if i have hope and it all crumbles
Kobe: then at least we hoped baby the worst part was getting the news we went through the torture of that one more step and we can heal and start over
Y: what if i don't want to start over
Kobe: then we don't have to but starting over is the best part of any adventure so rather she comes out alive or not we got each other and i'm never going to let you hurt alone
Y: you promise
Kobe: i promise

y/n calmed down while kobe kissed her head then they watched everyone come in and kobe grabbed her hand seeing she was nervous they all stood around her talking and as hours passed the nurses gave her epidural telling everyone else to step out while kobe stood next to her looking at her as she looked back at him scared

Kobe: you're gonna be ok i'm gonna stay by your side and hold your hand through the whole thing don't worry
Y: are you gonna let go
Kobe: never
Y: what if i squeeze it tighter
Kobe: then i'll hold it with even more reassurance you got this pretty lady

y/n smiled as the nurse told her to start pushing so she did holding kobes hand tighter and tighter with each push once the baby came out y/n closed her eyes turning her head

Doctor: do you want to see her
Y: i can't it'll hurt too much
Kobe: y/n come on if you don't you'll regret it i know you will just hold her please

y/n opened her eyes with tears coming down and she held her arms in the proper position while the doctor laid the still baby there she just looked at her lightly crying

Y: she's so beautiful can i put her on my chest
Doctor: go ahead

y/n leaned back laying the baby on her chest gently rubbing her small hairs then she felt something move so she slowly leaned up watching as her baby licked her lips and slowly opened her eyes while y/n had a huge smile on her face kissing her

Y: hey there pretty

the doctors stood around in shock while kobe looked at the baby smirking with his eyes watering

Doctor: wow i didn't expect this i guess she'll definitely be a mama's girl well sir if you want to hold her you can but afterwards we have to take her to go get cleaned up
Y: here

y/n handed the baby to kobe then she got another sharp pain and she screamed so the doctor panicked looking back under but when she realized she calmed down

Y: what's going on
Doctor: nothing you just need to push out the placenta
Y: is it gonna hurt
Doctor: no it's completely painless you'll feel pressure but other than that the painful part is completely over
Y: whew had me scared it was twins or some
Doctor: well they would've caught that on the ultrasound so let's be glad huh
Kobe: alright so just push one more time then you can rest ok
Y: ok

y/n did what she did last time but this time kobe was just kissing her forehead with the baby in his arms once she finished she took a deep breath as they placed it on a tray

Y: ugh i'm finally done
Kobe: she looks like me
Y: no it's definitely me
Kobe: whatever
Y: i finished the nursery
Kobe: when
Y: a month ago i felt her kick or at least maybe i thought i did so i got back up and finished every time you fell asleep with that loud snoring

the nurses laughed while y/n let out a small one then they picked up the baby walking away with her while they put y/ns legs down and went to tell everyone else to come back

Y: my legs are so sore
Kobe: how sore
Y: worse than what you do
Kobe: damn i'm gonna have to step up my game
Vanessa: hey i'm sorry-
Y: she's alive
Kiya: what how
Y: i placed her on my chest and i felt her grip it with her fingers so i looked at her and she was alive
Jaiden: so i'm still an uncle fuck yea
Kobe: we're still keeping that lawsuit though
Lucianna: as you should
Y: i'm just glad everything is ok
Vanessa: aren't we all
Kristen: i want to see her ugh
Y: she's getting cleaned
