vanessa talked to the doctor more while y/n sat there quiet not speaking barely even blinking mainly crying and staring when kobe woke up sitting on the edge of her bed holding her hands and she snapped out of it looking at him while vanessa stepped out

Kobe: baby this isn't your fault
Y: if i would've covered my stomach she would still be here
Kobe: this is all a part of a bigger plan for us
Y: if i couldn't protect her then i can't protect anyone i care about
Kobe: that's not true you were turned around when he pushed you that makes him a little bitch with a big lawsuit we're gonna be ok there's still a chance we can decorate the nursery and everything and just hope and pray she's alive
Y: i don't want to have to hope and pray i want her to be alive i want all of this to never have happened everything was going so well i was having so much fun it was fine everything was fine i-
Kobe: y/n relax before you have a panic attack the chance the baby is alive is slim but it's still a chance the second we lose hope everyone loses hope but if we keep hope alive they will do the same i'm not asking you to just be the biggest believer ever to exist but i'm asking you to give me and our baby girl a chance give her a chance at life by having hope in your heart she's going to be just as perfect as you are but in order for that to work you have to be willing to put in a little bit more

Y: he didn't push me he was about to punch you but leona pushed him into me

Kobe: oh...then we'll sue her instead i don't care who did it they're going to pay for hurting you
Y: i wish i never had that baby shower

kobe kissed y/n over and over again until she smiled then he smiled back and walked out the room so he could go to the vending machine while kiya walked in sitting on the bed and giving y/n a tight hug while she hugged her back

Kiya: i'm so sorry
Y: it's ok kiya i'm ok
Kiya: no it's not ok it's fucked up you were so happy about being a mom and they just took that away from you i'm so sorry
Y: kiya listen to me yes i was excited very excited actually but shit happened and it didn't go as planned but i'm ok and i need you to calm down babe everything will be fine and there's still a chance she can make it out so i'm holding on to that chance as much as i can and i want you to do the same
Kiya: but did you see how much blood came out
Y: yea i did i also felt the pain from that much blood but at the end of the day what's done is done and when i get home the realization is gonna hit me like a fucking truck but i have kobe to help as much as that's worth

y/n and kiya let out a small laugh through their tears then kobe walked back in

Kobe: i just know those smiles those are two people talking shit about me
Kiya: good because we definitely were
Kobe: i believe it
Vanessa: come on kiya we gotta go
Kiya: coming bye y/n i love you
Y: i love you too kiya

kiya walked out and kobe handed y/n some food then walked out with her giving her a hug while she hugged him back

Kobe: thank you for making her laugh
Kiya: of course i'll do anything to see that girl happy
Kobe: i really appreciate it
Kiya: goodnight kobe keep her hopes up
Kobe: will do goodnight

kiya walked off and kobe went back in the room with y/n holding her hand and kissing it
