a month past since then and during lunch everyone was sitting down in the cafeteria since they decided to stay today derek mike and vallyk decided to eat with them as well as aya and cohen they were all having a nice conversation when brooke came over handing kobe a sweatshirt and y/n looked over watching everything happen

Brooke: sorry i forgot to give you that back yesterday thanks for letting me borrow it

brooke walked off and since no one knew y/n and kobe were together they just went back to talking kobe noticed y/n wasn't speaking so he tried to touch her hand but she moved it then got up walking off leaving everyone confused

Kobe: i'm gonna go see what's wrong with her
Kay: ok

kobe got up while everyone went back to talking he started looking around the whole school for her until he went outside and saw she was sitting on the back of her car on her phone texting kiya when he walked up to her she just acted like she couldn't see him until he kept tapping her leg over and over again

Y: stop you know i hate that shit
Kobe: baby what's wrong

Kobe: what's wrong

in the middle of kobes sentence the bell rung and the others came out so he stopped talking while they walked up y/n put her phone in her pocket and hopped down from the car at that moment the girls came to her

Kaitlyn: aye what's up why'd you walk out
Y: nothing important i was just texting someone
Kay: oh ok you wanna go to this party like a day after tomorrow
Y: depends if i'm doing something but more than likely no so yea i'm down
Jihoon: we got to have more fun this time as in you gotta stay with us the whole night

Safia: good i'm going to the mall tomorrow after school to y'all want to come

Y: my parents arguments are getting worse so i'm gonna go house shopping with cohen

the girls walked to y/n wrapping her a big hug while she tried to wiggle out of them but they only tightened their grip so she just stood there after a minute they moved apart and she looked at them laughing then got in her car while they got in as well as well as cohen and aya she was about to pull off until kobe knocked on her window and she rolled her eyes with her eyes closed then she rolled the window down looking at him

Kobe: can i talk to you
Y: why
Kobe: it's about our project
Y: ok then say it
Kobe: y/n

y/n sighed getting out the car then they stood in front of her hood facing forward so they wouldn't try and read their lips

Kobe: that's my fault ok i should've told her no or some i wasn't thinking ok she said she was cold and asked for a hoodie so i gave her one of my old ones
Y: ok
Kobe: are you still mad
Y: yes because i don't understand why i have to basically just accept it for you to realize you messed up
Kobe: i was just trying to defend myself but i realized i messed up ok if you want whenever me and her work on our project i'll do it in a public place
Y: i don't care where y'all do it and if i can trust you then you should too

y/n leaned off the car then got in waiting for kobe to move once he did she drove off dropping all the girls off then as well as aya then going home when her and cohen walked through the door their parents were standing there

Y/m: i'm leaving tonight
Cohen: you said you'll visit every holiday right
Y/m: starting next year yes
Y: you mean the small holidays too or just christmas and thanksgiving
Y/m: just christmas and thanksgiving then the years after that it'll be those holidays plus your birthdays
Y/d: and me i'm leaving completely i can't have memories of my past without it breaking me
