65 - Jonah Marais ( Why Don't We )

" You were in love with her Jonah, everyone could see that, you could have always talked to me about it, " he tells me. And that's the first time that has been talked about outside of my head. Christian and Corbyn come storming into the room immediately going to the TV. " Is everything okay? " Daniel asks. Christian just shakes his head, they start playing the news and we begin to watch it. 

" Y/n Seavey's death has now been ruled as a potential murder, Y/n Seavey's clothing was found in this pond. With a note from her stating the following 'help, I've been taken, he's going to say it was a suicide'. They did an analysis on her handwriting and it matches perfectly. Seavey went missing back in 2018, and it was ruled as a suicide due to a note. Her mom, said something was off, but not about her, about the note. Many are now starting to see holes in the case, and things that might have lead to why she could have been murdered, " a news reporter says. Daniel and I looked at each other in complete shock. " We're not sure if she is still alive or if she is dead. But one thing we know is that her case, has been reopened, " she adds. 

" Oh my God, " I mutter in complete shock. 

" This story is going as we speak, she could be anywhere in the US or outside. Last time she was seen was in California shortly after 2 AM, leaving a friend's house, and was never seen again, " the reporter states. They show a picture of her on the screen, with her beautiful smile. " This was how she looked at the time of her disappearance, if you see her please contact your local police, " she adds. 

The door opens and in comes Anna, Jeff and Keri, and many others. 

Not a lot of us have gotten sleep in the past few days, it's been 4 days since that news report has come up. And a lot of fans have come out saying that they will help, because they want to reunite the cutest soon to be couple and the siblings with an unbreakable bond. 

All of us just wanting her to be safe if she's still alive, we all miss her dearly. And none of us have truly gotten a closure from it, and I don't think any of us will ever truly get a closure from the experience, but if she's still alive we want her home. 

Jeff and Keri have been getting phone calls like crazy, contacting people like crazy. We're just trying to find out anything and everything we can. Keri comes in slapping Jeff's arm and all of us turn to her. " Okay...okay thank you, " she says, she gets off the phone and turns to all of us. 

" So? " Jeff asks. 

" They think they might have found her, in Michigan, " she comments. " She said, a couple of days ago this elderly couple brought in this girl who was hiding in their backyard for a few days. Pretended to me their granddaughter to get away from these men. They took her in, and they asked for her ID, and she gave them an expired license, and it was Y/n's license, " she adds. 

" Or it's someone pretending to be her, " Daniel comments, Keri nods towards him. 

" They have her coming to a hospital here today, later today, and want Jeff and I to go see if this is actually her, " she says. We all nod towards her. 

It was days before we were able to go see her, it was her though, which brought tears to all of our eyes. And slowly we started going to see her, obviously the siblings were going first. And then everyone said that I needed to go next, due to the fact that this was my girlfriend. 

Keri and I were the ones who went, and she stayed by the door. They had a police officer by her door at all times just in case, and I was so nervous. I don't know why I was nervous but I was. I walked in to see her sitting on the bed with a book in hand. " Your fans have been overly sweet to me, " she chuckles looking up at me. I walk straight over to her, and lean in and kiss her. Which she instantly kisses me back, after I leaned away and sat next to her. 

She reached out her hand, and I instantly accepted. " These last few years, they've been hard on me. I can't even imagine, how hard these past years have been on you, " I tell her, which she slowly nods looking away towards the window and then back at me. 

" It's been hard, but my family and you were always what kept me going. Plus I needed to still be able to come back for our date, " she jokes, which causes me to look at her with hope. 

" You remembered? " I ask her. 

" Of course I remembered, I was so excited the day you asked me, " she tells me which causes me to smile even brighter towards her. 

We talked for what seemed like hours, and it felt like the old times. Of course nurses would come in and out checking on her, and it's just nice knowing she's going to be okay. Of course she's going to be need a lot of therapy and healing from everything that happened to her. It's just nice knowing that she's back in our arms, that she's back in my arms.
