"All I'm saying is what's been done to you determines who you'll be." Marcus said to Chico.
We had been stuck in detention for a couple hours now, and somehow we had all started up a conversation with each other about how fucked up people become fucked up people. Who would've thought we could have a conversation and not kill each other?
"I'm who I choose to be." Chico justified.
"So, shitty parenting made Ted Bundy start shish-kebabing coeds?" The Legacy boy asked as Chico let out a frustrated sigh.
"Bundy's dad, also his grandfather- what could go wrong?" Marcus explained.
"Shit, nobody stuck a finger up my ass. I'm as deadly as they come." Chico said before walking off.
"Well by that logic, I made Viktor three fingers more deadly." Petra said as she held up three fingers.
"Ew, you fucked him?" I asked.
"You didn't know?" Marcus asked.
"She is lying. My 'shoofla' is exit only." Viktor explained himself hurriedly.
"Whatever broken shit is inside of us is there the day we're born. People are what they are." Saya said.
"I beg to differ." I said calmly with my arms crossed.
Saya then looked at me, as if asking me to go on.
"Dude you can't be born broken. That's not a fucking thing. We're all born whole, happy, and innocent. The world fucks you up, though. Fucks up your views, your mentality, your heart. That's when people become monsters." I explained.
"Exactly my point." Marcus agreed.
"Wait, what's a 'shoofla'?" The Legacy boy asked, having a delayed reaction to Viktor's statement.
"Airheads." I said as I rolled my eyes.
