Izuku POV:
Katsuki and I have lived in the same apartment building ever since we got out of UA. And lately he's been acting kind of odd really. He's been calling more than he usually would, he's been finding any reason he can get to come over, anytime he is over he's always trying to subtly find a reason to touch me. It's both confusing and kind of cute. Well today he asked to come over because he had a question. He could've just called but insisted that he come over anyway.
I hear a knock on my front door. I get up off of my couch where I was sitting and go answer it. Katsuki's standing there looking slightly nervous. I just let him in. We go sit on the couch.
"So what's going on?"I ask.
"This isn't easy to ask so don't like make fun of it or anything alright?"
"Alright."
"I know you've noticed I've been trying to be around you more often. And because it's you I know you've been scanning for literally any reason why I'd do that."
"It's crossed my mind. Usually you're trying to avoid me."
"Thought so. Alright. Well lately my dumbass can't help but want to be close to you in a romantic manner. And I just wanted to know if we could do that."
I raise an eyebrow.
"Stop me if this comes off as disrespectful in any way shape or form but you're in love with me?"I say.
"Yes dumbass."
"Since when?"
"I don't know."
"Fair enough."
"Is that a yes though?"
"I'd be open to try it. It's just a little surprising given every interaction we've ever had since we were kids has been less than loving."
"I thought it'd make me popular."
"I noticed that."
"I'm sorry. For all that."
"It's alright. Shit happens."
"Okay."
We just sit there quietly for a minute. Then he gets up.
"Whatcha doing?"I ask.
"Just come here."
"Alright."
I get up and walk over to him. He just kisses me hard.
