Avenger's new Recruit

Chapter 57

You arrive at this strange cool looking planet.

Y/n: "What is this place?"
Carol: "Tarnax"

After a while passes by and Carol showed you around you finally go to the room Carol has gave you to stay in. You get some sleep - once it's morning Carol wakes you and you get ready for training.

Carol: "You ready"
Y/n: "No, not really"
Carol: "That's the spirit"
[You warm up]
Carol: "Ok now show me what you got"

You run towards her and use the fighting skills you've done before. She grabs you and pushes you to the ground and you land on the floor. You then get angry and you begin to glow a little. You come charging at her and end up blasting her without even realizing it.

Y/n: "Oh..my..god-I'm so sorry"
Carol: "It's alright kid, your already improving"
Y/n: "What?"
Carol: "Now I have to show you how to make your power appear by controlling your emotions"
Carol: "Look at me"
Y/n: "Ok"
[She takes her arm and it starts to glow.]
Carol: "You have to use strength, you try"
Y/n: "Um-ok"
[you try but nothing is working]
Y/n: "Ugh it's not working"
Carol: "It's ok, you just need more time"
Y/n: "I don't want to waste 5 years of this mess, I just want to get it over with, so I can go home"
Carol: "Hey it's alright, you can't stress about it that's the point of bringing you here so you could finish up these lessons quicker, you have to have patience with me if not none of this is going to work"
Y/n: "I sorry"
Carol: "Don't worry about it"
Carol: "Now lets start from the top"
[you try to use your strength but it isn't working, so you use your stead as your strength, suddenly your arm starts to glow]
Y/n: "It's working!"

Carol: "Yeah!"
Carol: "Now try to create a ball of energy"
Y/n: "Ok"

You twist your hand in a circular motion and use a bit more strength to create the ball of energy as it begins to form.
Y/n: "I did it!"
Carol: "Now try to aim it in that pond of water"
Y/n: "Wait, the one that's 50 ft away from us!?
Carol: "No"
Y/n: "Oh thank-
Carol: "I want you to throw it to the pond that's 75 feet away from us"

You look at her in disbelief and hold tightly to the ball of energy and throw it as far as you can to the pond. It only makes it to 23 ft.

Y/n: "See I can't throw that far"
Carol: "I know that"
Y/n: "Then-wh-why would you-
Carol: "I did it to challenge you"
Y/n: "Um thanks"
Carol: "No problem"

3 Years Later

Carol: "Now let's see what you learned"

You stand on top of the mountain seeing all the dreadful creatures are getting ready to fight you as your beautiful hair blows through the wind.

Carol: "Now, go!"

You use your telekinesis powers to help you down the mountain in the middle of the creatures, you throw the balls of energy from your hands towards them and watch them destruct painfully. You blast here and there until they're all gone.

Carol: "Yess you did it!"
[you fly back to her]
Y/n: "I guess I did"
Carol: "You know what this means, right?"
Y/n: "We can finally have dinner?"
Carol: "Yes, but you also get to go home tomorrow"
Y/n: "Oh my god, I'm done!?"
Carol: "You've showed me your capable to control and use your powers at the same time so, your able to go home"
Y/n: "I'm gonna miss you Carol"
Carol: "Well let's not say our goodbyes to soon, let's go get cleaned up and eat"
Y/n: "Alright"

Y'all go to get cleaned up and go eat and you finally go to sleep. - After you wake up and change you go and say goodbye to Carol. You take the mini pod out Tarnax down to earth. As you enter earth's atmosphere you still see the destruction left by Thanos 3 years ago. You go down and park a few blocks back from where the Avengers Tower was where it seem to be abandoned. As you get to the door your heart starts to get nervous. This is the first time in a while since you left. You knock on the door. You hear the footsteps running and now your heart begins to race even more-Steve opens the door- he goes in for a hug and spins you around with a big smile on his face. Natasha comes out-

Steve: "Your finally back"
Y/n: "Sure am"
Natasha: "You look like you worked your ass off"
Y:n: "Well I kinda did"
[She hugs you]
Natasha: "I'm glad to have you back"
Y/n: "I'm happy to be back too"
Steve: "Let's get you inside, and unpack your stuff"
[you walk in]
Y/n: "Where's everyone else?"
Steve: "Tony had a kid, Bruce is working, and we don't know where Clint is."
Y/n: "And Thor?"
Steve: "He's taking our loss really rough"
[Nat, Steve, and you talk about everything that you did.]

Two years pass by and everything seems to be as usual. You stayed with Steve at his apartment. You also decided to visit Tony and Pepper every once an a while. Morgan always loved the stories you'd read to her, she also loves when you come to play with her and her toys.
