"Bonjour, (Y/n)!"

"Aw, crap." You sigh, facepalming. You only wanted one day (one day!) to yourself. But nooooo. "Hello, Francis." You sigh again. Francis comes to lay down on the grass beside you. You had decided to spend your day at the park, reading... alone.

"What 'are you reading?" He purs, peering over your shoulder.

You sigh fo the third time and snap your book shut. "The Little Prince."

"Ah! Mais oui!" He beams happily. "Zhat was my favourite book growing up! Le Petit Prince~!" He sighs happily, remembering the good old days.

You turn your head so you can get a better look at him. His golden hair flows over his shoulders as he stares off into space, reminiscing. "Hey Francis?"

"Hmm~?" He hums, turning his attention back to you.

"Would you like to go and grab some lunch with me?" You ask, suddenly feeling sympathetic.

His smile widdens. "Mais bien sur! Where would you like to go, ma chèrie?"

You tilted your head. "There is this nice little cafe that just opened up down the street." You suggested.

He smiled at you. "Ce qui vous plaît, me plaît." He kisses the tip of your nose before standing up and offering you a hand.

You blush furiously as you take his hand. "I have no idea what you just said to me." You mutter.

Francis smiles down at you. "I said what pleases you, pleases me."

"Oh." You blush and look down at the ground. "Ok."

He laced his arm through yours and started pulling you along. "Let's go, ma belle!"

Your face burnt as he pulled you out of the park and down the street, dodging people as you went. You cringed when you almost ran smack into a stout man carrying an armfull of watermelons. Francis yanked you out of the way just in time.

"Holy crap, Francis!" You gasped. "We almost killed the guy I do my math homework about!"

Francis glanced down at you, looking slightly peeved. "Why don't you do your math 'omework about moi?"

You gulped. "W-well... do you buy fifty watermelons and eat twenty seven of them?"

He pondered on that for a moment. "Non... but I do buy a lot of con-"

"Agh! Francis shut up!" You covered your ears, knowing where he was going with that sentence. "I don't need to hear about that!"

Francis laughed. "Who wouldn't want to do math 'omework about my love life?"

"Oh god." You covered your face. "Please just shut your mouth already."

"Non, non, ma chère." He clicked his tounge in a scolding manner. "En français ont dit ferme ta bouche."

You yank your arm from his. "Never mind!" You throw your hands up in surrender. "Screw lunch, let's go write some math homework about you to satisfy your ego." You growl.

Francis smiles. "And zhat, (Y/n), is why I love you."
