199: trampoline

Elaine's POV

We've been here for a day but Skylar has already made some friends. I was in the kitchen with mom and Isa, who was just watching me and mom cook.

Elaine: where's Skylar?

Isa: she's in the backyard with Wesley

Elaine: okay is Aidan still asleep?

Isa: yep just checked on him

Elaine: thanks

Sandra: I'm so glad to have you home, the last time I saw you Aidan was so tiny

When I was about to answer her me phone rang. I took it out and it was Billie, I couldn't help but blush.

Elaine: excuse me

I walk to the patio and answer the call

Elaine: baby

Billie: mamas

Elaine: how are you?

Billie: I'm good, how are you?

Elaine: I'm good, wait isn't it like three am over there?

Billie: yeah I just came back from the studio

Elaine: babe, don't overwork yourself

Billie: I won't I promise

Elaine: are you driving?

Billie: yep

Elaine: don't crash

Billie: (chuckle) I won't the phone is connected to the car you're on speaker

Elaine: okay, how are you holding up?

Billie: I'm fine I guess

Elaine: (giggle) you don't sound fine

Billie: I am

Elaine: you miss the kids don't you?

Billie: yes, where are they?

Elaine: Aidan is sleeping and Skylar is with her boyfriend

Billie: her what? Skylar is a kid she's too young to date

Elaine: (laugh) I'm just kidding, he's not her boyfriend he's the neighbour's kid

Billie: I want to talk to her

I yell for Skylar and she gets off the trampoline and come

Skylar: mommie

Elaine: mom wants to talk to you

I give her the phone

Skylar: mom

Billie: hello princess, how are you?

Skylar: good

Billie: what are you doing?

Skylar: playing on a trampoline

She then rans off to the trampoline

Elaine: she went away

Billie: she must be having fun

Elaine: yeah, haven't you arrived yet?

Billie: just parked the car

Elaine: get some sleep I'll call you at ten

Billie: what's happening at ten?

Elaine: it'll be the kids bedtime here

Billie: okay bye, I love you

Elaine: I love you too

She then dropped the call and I went back inside.

Elaine: I'll go check up on Aidan, he'll probably awake now

Isa: he hasn't cried thou

Elaine: he doesn't cry when he wakes up

I walk upstairs and find Aidan awake, playing. I pick him up and kiss him

Elaine: mommie's baby

He makes baby sounds and I take him downstairs with me.

Sandra: he was awake?

Elaine: yeah

Isa: can I hold him?

Elaine: okay let me feed him first

I make him baby food and try to feed him but he wasn't having it. He sucks my t-shirt.

Sandra: he still like breastfeeding

Elaine: yeah he doesn't like food

Isa: he's so chubby for someone who doesn't like food

Elaine: let me pump for him

Sandra: why don't you feed him directly?

Elaine: he bits

Isa: (laugh) he's naughty like his mom isn't he?

I turn and give her that shut up look and she laughs. We make lunch then I chill with Isa and mom and we catch up. It was really nice being with them, it's been long and for mom to take the week off just to spend it with me and the kids is very thoughtful of her. In the evening I call Billie like I promised and she talks to the kids. After she spoke to the kids we also have our catch up session then I slept
