Elaine's POV

After Billie zipped me up we sat in the room just chatting. Sometime later people started to come to the venue, not knowing what this is about but I assume that most of them assume that this was a after party or something. The only people we had invited are our families and our close friends. I stay in the room that I was preparing in with Claudia as Billie left a few minutes ago

Claudia: so you really weren't gonna tell us?

Elaine: (giggle) we were what do you think is the reason for this party?

Claudia: I'm so happy for you

Elaine: thank you

Claudia: so how far are you?

Elaine: going to the sixth month now

Claudia: gosh Elaine, you sure know how to keep a secret

Elaine: (smile)

Claudia: let me go check who is there yet

Elaine: okay, can you please get Billie for me if you see her

Claudia: okay

She goes out, then after a few minutes Billie walks in.

Billie: I heard that you need me

Elaine: where's Skylar?

Billie: she's with Zara

Elaine: oh okay she has arrived already?

Billie: yeah and so is Isa and your mom, I think we should start now

Elaine: okay

Sometime went by then I finally went out and people couldn't believe that I was pregnant.

Sandra: I'm having another grandchild?

Elaine: yes, mom you are

Isa: oh y'all are so sneaky, remember I asked you and you denied it?

Elaine: (giggle)

Zara: gosh I leave for a few months and you get knocked up? I should never leave again

Well that's how the night went people congratulating us and stuff. After sometime Billie and I go outside, and she pulls me to her and I run my hands through her hair.

Billie: you look beautiful

Elaine: no I look like a hippopotamus

Billie: (laugh)

Elaine: (clicks tongue) why are you laughing

She wraps her hand around me and peck my my lips.

Billie: you're my thick baby mama

Elaine: (pout) but I don't wanna be thick

She kisses me then we see flash lights.

Billie: (chuckle) let's go inside

She holds my hand we go back inside, when we get inside Skylar comes to us.

Skylar: mommie I want to sleep

Billie: come here

She goes to her mom and she carries her. When the shower was over we finally went home,when we got home I went to take a shower while Billie tucked Skylar in who had woken up crying about hunger. I got out of the shower then wore an oversized t-shirt and grabbed a novel. I was still reading my novel when Billie came back and went to freshen up. After she had freshened up she sat on the edge of the bed looking sad. I put my novel away then crawl to her and massage her.

Elaine: what's wrong?

Billie: nothing I'm fine

I tie her hair up then kiss her neck.

Elaine: baby talk to me

She pulls me off the bed then I stood in front of her, she then pulled me to her. I kneel on the bed with my legs either side of her torso. She kisses my bump and I wrap my arms around her neck.

Elaine: I know something is bothering you

Billie: baby relax nothing is bothering me

Elaine: are you sure?

Billie: yes mamas

Elaine: mmhhmmm okay

I kiss her forehead then get off her. I get in bed then continue reading my novel. She stays like that, when I was tired I switched off my side lamp then slept. In the middle of the night I felt Billie getting in bed and came closer to me, kissed me goodnight then put her hand on my belly. I take her hand off my belly and intertwine it with mine.

Elaine: your hands are cold

Billie: sorry

I turn around and face her. I could see that something was bothering her but I didn't want to nag her, I peck her lips.

Elaine: goodnight I love you

Billie: goodnight I love you too
