They were waiting for Leendon at the diner, for their Saturday morning bonding. He said, that he maybe late today. He has an emergency to his clinic.

She and Leendon save this day just for the three of them. For the whole week they were busy from their respective work. So they save this day just to enjoy especially to Quien so she can mingle with the other kids.

They want for Quien to become more sociable instead of silently draws at the corner. Leendon noticed​ Quien became a little bit shy while growing up. So he suggested to let Quien interact more to other people.

"Mom, I need to pee." Quien stood on her seat.

"Okey sweetie let's go." she then stood too to accompany her daughter.

"Mom I'm already big. Don't you worry I can go by myself." she stopped her from going with her.

"Okey, but you need to promise me that you're​ going be more careful. Alright?" she lovingly smiled to her daughter who were struggling to go down on her chair. Then she run toward the comfort room.

She eyed her daughter until she reached​ the comfort room just four meters away from their table. She kept her eyes to the door and waiting for her daughter to emerge any moment.

Then her eyes got wider when her sight landed to the man who were coldly staring at her. She froze and her feet started to wobbled. And all of a sudden her blood started to got boiled the way he looked at her.

His stared burned her being. So she stared​ back to him and with so much disgust. She searched for any sign of regrets on his face. But he looked to her with so much coldness.

She looked away from him to control her emotion. She doesn't want to make a scene especially that her daughter is just around the corner.

She immediately grabbed her daughter as soon as she came out of the comfort room.

She immediately carried her daughter and they hurriedly went out. She almost stumbled​ from running away.

Her tears that she kept holding earlier were now freely flowing on her beautiful face.

"Why he needs to come back? After all this years? Why we need to cross our path again? I'm already starting my new life. And what's​ the meaning of his coldness? I'm the one who he got dumped. He got me pregnant and I suffered a lot. Then why he looked at me like I'm the evil one here?" she silently mumbled.

"Mom, why we're leaving? Uncle Leendon will come for us." Quien asked with wonderment in her angelic face while staring back at the diner.

"I'm sorry Sweetie, Mom got a little tummy ache. Let's go to your Uncle Leendon. And instead of going to the park, let's have a barbeque party at home. We can also watch your favorite movies. How about that princess?" she encouraged.

" I love it Mom! Come Mommy let's surprise him." she happily agreed.

She tried to drives carefully with her unsettle emotion. So many questions keep coming in her mind. Keep asking herself if she really saw him or maybe she were just hallucinating.

But, she was so sure it is Lucas Montero. With his of 6'4" height. He towered to most of the costumers at the diner. His pouted kissable lips, pointed nose, a clip chin, well groom silvery hair and a well tone body. He's like a greek god that descend from heaven. Just wearing a faded blue jeans and a white tee shirt, he outshine himself among the men at the diner.

Then she realized, if that was Lucas Montero. Now, she got a huge problem.

What if he discover about her daughter? How she's going to keep him away from Quien? She doesn't really like him to be part of her daughter's life.

He doesn't deserve to be the father of her daughter. She wouldn't allowed him got neared to her precious child.

As the morning sun touched their skin while walking hand and hand. She noticed that she cannot hide the blood of the Montero that were carried by her daughter.

She wondered if Lucas can recognize Quien as his daughter.

And now she have a doubt to tell Leendon that Lucas were finally back. Maybe... but for now, she's going to keep it for herself. She knew Leendon, he's going to get worried. Maybe she is just over thinking, who knows Lucas will be gone again in a few days.

By what was happened earlier it seems he was not interested to talk to her anyway. And also she's not yet ready to face him. She were afraid for the next time she saw him that she can't control her rage towards him.

"Mom... Mom... " Quien called while tugging her mother's dress.

"Oh! Yes Sweetie... I'm sorry. What is it?" she asked attentively to her daughter. She picked her daughter and she starts to walk again toward the building where Leendon's clinic situated.

"Mommy, I know that man who were staring at you in the diner." Quien said innocently.

"What? How do you know him?" she stopped from walking then fear envelope in her. "Princess ... " she whispered​.

"He visited our gift shop yesterday and he bought a gift for his mother." her daughter simply said

She panicked for what her daughter just have said. Now she need a concrete plan to secure her daughter. All she need to do is stay away from.

Life is more easier if they never ever cross their path again. She's praying and hoping that someday Quien will understand and forgive her for keeping his father away from her.

She doesn't like her daughter to associate with her irresponsible mean father. He will just going to hurt her daughter the way he hurts her.

Whatever happen she will protect her daughter from him. And she will make sure, this time, he will never going to hurt her again.
