It was dark outside but that was okay. The wolf was walking to a certain waterfall to sleep fo the night.
Y/n had spent the day with Nekoma helping them pack for a trip. He didn't know what type of trip it is but he didn't ask, seeing it as not his business.
Crickets chirped a soft lullaby. The light of the moon and stars illuminated the forest underneath it.
The wolf made a beeline to the waterfall he was going to. The light of the moon and stars helping him a bit by lighting up a path for him.
Soon, Y/n found the magical waterfall where he met Aone. He smiled at the memories with the gentle giant.
Speaking of giant, Aone was sitting near the pond just gazing into it. Aone seemed tired, as if he hadn't been getting the best of sleep before.
"Aone?" Y/n peeped up, trying to not startle any wild life around him.
The iron giant looked up. Clear bags under his eyes, but not too noticeable.
"What are you doing here? Aren't you suppose to be with your clan?" Y/n asked as he sat next to the taller, hugging his knees closer to his chest.
Aone nodded, still looking at the glowing water in front of him. This made the wolf frown.
"Is everything alright?"
Aone didn't do anything, he didn't want to move. He knew the wolf wasn't scared of him, he was scared of himself that he will hurt the wolf.
Y/n frowned as his brows furrowed, "Do you want to talk about it?"
Aone thought about it for a moment. He soon shook his head, not wanting to talk about his problems, at least, not yet.
Y/n sighed but understood. He got up from his seat and pushed Aone to his back.
The iron giant was surprised by the sudden action but didn't say anything. He let the wolf did what he needed to do, knowing that the wolf wouldn't hurt or harm him in any way.
Y/n laid down next to Aone. The two laid there looking at the night sky.
"Go to sleep, Aone. I'll be here with you, plus you need your sleep," Y/n said as he turned to his side and smiled.
Aone turned his head to look at Y/n. The light of the moon and the reflection of the water illuminated Y/n's soft expression, he blushed at this.
Aone spooned turned to his side to face Y/n. He grabbed Y/n's waist and pulled him closer to his chest.
Y/n's eye's widened in surprise but he soon got comfortable. He wrapped his arms around the other male and smiled softly.
The iron giant's eyes started to get heavy, but they weren't closing. It's not like he didn't want to sleep, he really did, but his body won't let him.
The wolf looked up wondering why the giant wasn't sleeping. His brows furrowed a bit when he noticed that Aone was struggling to sleep.
Y/n pushed himself upwards and hugged Aone's head, making him listen to his heartbeat. Aone was too tired to protest, but he was slightly startled when Y/n started to hum.
Y/n pet the albino's hair as he started to hum out of instincts. He started to sing a soft melody that made everything and everyone around him relaxed.
"Goodnight~ Goodnight~ It's now time to sleep~"
Y/n voice was sweet to Aone. It was so calming and peaceful.
"The moon's watching over~ You and your dreams~"
Aone's body relaxed intesly. He felt so calm and relaxed.
"Goodnight and goodnight~ My sweet iron giant~"
Y/n felt his eyes closed as he sung. He also felt Aone burying his face in his chest.
"Tomorrow your eyes they will light up the sun"
Y/n hummed the musical part. He remembers this was the song that his aunt used to sing to him when he wouldn't be able to sleep.
"But goodnight~, goodnight~ Sweet dreams for now~"
Aone had never felt so calmed and relaxed before. It was like all of his worries and concerns had be washed away.
"Drift off to sleep~ On your pillow of clouds~"
The moon light seemed to dim a little bit. As if wanting the two males to sleep in peace.
"Goodnight~, goodnight~ My sweet iron friend~"
Y/n's voice soon turned into a whisper. Him and Aone slowly starting to fall asleep on their own.
"Tomorrow's adventures, they will soon begin~"
Aone's eyes shut as his breathing steadied. He loved Y/n voice so much.
"Tomorrow's adventures will soon begin..."
A soft snore came from the two males. They were both sleeping peacefully.
The two males didn't care about the world around the,. They both just held each other in a warm embrace, like nothing else mattered in the world.
