(Reece POV)

I woke up and practically flew out of bed. I was excited for today, I'm going on my first date with Georgie! I had another nightmare last night, but it wasn't too bad so I didn't call George. I ran downstairs and made myself breakfast. I sat down at the dining table next to Lexi and dad.

"Morning son. How're things with George? I haven't seen him in a few days." Dad asked.

"Things are perfect." I said with a smile on my face as I started eating.

"Why don't you invite him over for dinner tonight?" He asked.

"Yeah!" Lexi exclaimed.

"I can't tonight, we're going on a date." I replied, my smile growing bigger.

"Oh yeah?" Dad said smiling. "Where're you going?"

"I don't actually know, he's surprising me." I said as I shoved a mouthful of food into my mouth.

"That's sweet." Dad said with a smile on his face. A smile!

"I thought you didn't like George?" I asked.

"I always liked George, I just wanted to be sure he wasn't going to leave you when things get hard, but he's shown me that he won't."

I didn't know what to say, so I just smiled. I quickly finished breakfast and headed off to school, exited for the day. George wasn't at school yet, but Blake was.

"How are you here before George? That never happens." I laughed.

"Oh shut up." Blake laughed back.

"What should I expect from this date tonight?" I asked.

I didn't know if George was the kind of guy to go sky diving on a first date, or if it would be a romantic date, or something simple. I had no idea.

"G is a hopeless romantic, emphasis on hopeless. My advice to you my friend, is expect anything." Blake replied.

(George POV)

When I saw Reece I couldn't keep the smile off my face, and neither could he. Hailey noticed and asked,

"What's got you two so happy?"

"We are going on our first date tonight." I said quietly.

Reece smile grew bigger.

"Aw. Where are you going?" Hailey asked excitedly.

"Reece doesn't know yet so I can't tell you." I replied.

"You better tell me tomorrow." Hailey said before she headed to class.
