(Blake POV)
"How's your eye and stomach?" George asked when we reached my room.
"Bruised and sore." I answered.
My left eye looked like a dog with a black spot over its eye.
"Can you show me the bruise on your stomach?" He asked.
I lifted my shirt, showing the purple and yellow bruise on my stomach.
"Does it hurt to move?" George asked.
"Yeah, most of the time." I answered.
My phone started to ring. I picked it up and saw Hailey's number.
"Hey babe, what's up?" I answered with.
"Not much. Hey, I left my jacket at your house the other day, is it okay if I come pick it up?" Hailey asked.
"Yeah of course."
"See you soon." Hailey said before hanging up.
"Everything okay?" George asked.
"Yeah, Hailey just left her jacket, she's coming to pick it up. That okay?"
"Yeah, definitely."
About fifteen minutes later Hailey knocked on my front door. I opened it and greeted her with a kiss.
"Hey, beautiful." I smiled.
"Hello." Hailey said, smiling sweetly.
We started walking up to my room,
She frowned. "What happened to your eye?"
"I uh- bumped it with something." I lied.
"Blake." Hailey warned.
"Alright, Brent hit me."
"What?" Hailey practically yelled. "Just your eye?"
She lifted her hand to my cheek and lightly ran her thumb over the bruise.
"No." I replied, looking at my feet.
"Where? Show me."
I lifted my shirt up enough to show her the bruise. She ran her fingertips lightly along my stomach where the bruise was, leaving goosebumps behind.
"Blake I'm so sorry."
"It's not your fault babe." I said pulling my shirt back down and kissing her.
