"Hey," I said, standing on the deck watching Muteki savagely punching one of the walls. "If you keep that up, you might punch a hole in the ship."

"Yeah?" Muteki grunted, doing one final punch before turning his back to the wall and sliding down it. "Feels good, though."

"Have you seen Mangetsu?"

"Saw him with Katara and Aang just a short while ago," he sighed before dropping his head into his hands.

I sat next to him, bumping my shoulder against his lightly. "Talk to me."

"Everyone he knows is dead?" Muteki whispered. "He talks like I never woke up. Like I don't know anything about him."

"He's just hurting-"

"How do you think I feel?" Muteki snapped. "I knew her better than most, and even then, I know there's so much I didn't know. We were... we were close. Very close."

I realised he was fighting tears and instantly felt awkward. I... have no idea what to do with a crying human.

"I miss her too," he whispered. "I miss her so damn much."

I leaned against him, not sure what to say. So, I said nothing and just let him know I was there for him by resting my head on his shoulder.

"We'll get through this," I said softly.
