Insecure.

Calum: "You're like a butterfly, you know?" Calum stated as his fingers traced patterns on your arm. "What? What do you mean?" You asked as you lay next to him. "Butterfly's can't see their wings." He replied, his hand now running through your hair. "I still don't get it." You informed him as you looked towards him. "Well you know how the most beautiful part of a butterfly is it's wings?" He asked. "Yeah..." You answered still confused. "Its like a metaphor, sort of. A butterfly can't see it's wings which are the most beautiful feature of them. And you can't see how beautiful you are." 💛

Ashton: "Babe, why aren't you getting changed?" Ashton asked as he walked back into the bedroom. "I'm not going." You told him as you rolled over on the bed so that your face was on your pillow. "Why not?" Ashton asked. He laid down on the bed beside you, propping himself up with his elbow so he was on his side. "I don't like the beach or the pool or wherever it is that we're going." You turned around so you were now facing his chest, still not making eye contact though. "I thought you loved the beach" He stated, running his hand through your hair. "No. I hate going there."

"Why? What's happened?" He asked confused to your sudden change of heart. "Have you not seen me? I look disgusting! I don't have a tan, my thighs and my stomach aren't flat, my skin isn't that great. Need I go on?" You snapped. You didn't mean to come off rude, you were just so annoyed at how you felt about yourself. "Oh." Ashton whispered. "You're insecure." He stated, his voice slow and the sadness evident. "So I should be." You muttered. "I think you're beautiful." He told you. "You have to say that. You're my boyfriend." You replied. "Well let me show it then." He said standing up. He reach his hand down to you and pulled you up before walking you to stand In front of the mirror. "Look." Ashton said, pointing towards your reflection. "Exactly. Look." You copied him but changed his meaning. "No, really look at yourself. Beyond all the flaws which aren't even there, and just take in what beauty you have." He said wrapping his arms around you. "I don't see it." You whsipered. "I'll make you see it. One day..." 💚

Luke: "Babe?" Luke knocked on the bathroom door. You were standing in your underwear in front of you mirror, picking out every flaw you could find. You didn't know Luke had gotten home and you didn't want him to see you like this. "Uh, just a minute." You panicked. Luke let himself in, regardless of what you said."Luke, get out!" You yelled, anxiety bubbling inside of you. "What are you doing? Whats the matter?" He asked with concern as he stepped towards you and grabbed your hands. You had only managed to slip a large t-shirt on, on top of your underwear which ended at your mid thigh. He could see the tears filling your eyes as he made you look at him. You turned your head away but Luke made you face him. "Don't cry, babe. Tell me what's wrong." He asked becoming really worried now. Your knees gave in and you sunk to the floor, your back resting against the shower door as you hid your face in your hands. Luke instantly kneeled in front of you, prying your hands way from your face. He ran his thumb across your cheek, wiping away your tears. "I can't do it anymore, Luke." You cried. "What? Can't do what?" He questioned confused. "Live like this. I hate myself, Luke. I'm disgusted by what I am and I compare myself to everyone I see and I loose every single time." You whimpered. "No. No. What are you saying this? You're the most beautiful person I have ever met." He told you. "Stop! Stop saying that Luke. Don't say that to me when there are are girls everywhere who are worth so much more than me. Girls who are skinny, girls who are popular, confident, flawless. Girls who have a flat stomach and thigh gaps. Every single thing about me is wrong." You sobbed, pulling yourself closer to Luke. "The only thing that is wrong is the way you think of yourself. No you are not confident and what even is a thigh gap? Y/N, I'm not even flawless so I don't know why you think I'd want someone who was. If I wanted a girl like that who is fake and whatever, then I would be with someone like that. But I don't because she doesn't exist. Even if she did, I'd still pick you. We're not perfect, but you're perfect enough for me." 💜

Michael: You were never really one of those girls who was really insecure. Sure, you didn't like certain aspects of yourself but everyone felt the same. It was only when you started dating Michael that you became more and more self conscious of your appearance. You got sent a lot of rude comments on social media and even some in person which surprised you the most. You started to believe when people told you that you weren't good enough for Michael but you loved him so much that you wanted to be. You started to eat less and less, exercising more frequently. It was almost like an addiction in a way. You ate less and lost more weight, but eating began to make you feel guilty and every time you lost weight you were never please and wanted to loose more. Michael had notice the difference in you and him and the boys were all becoming worried about you, especially as you were so close to them. "Y/N I made dinner." Michael informed you as he entered the lounge room. "Thanks but I had a big lunch." You lied. "What? No you didn't. You barely ate anything." He stated. "I'm just not hungry, Michael." You lied, yet again. "Well you need to eat." He told you, his protective side starting to come out. "Michael..." You groaned, anxiety filling you as you were dreading the thought of eating. "No, Y/N. I'm really worried about you. You've lost a lot of weight and you never really eat anymore. You're scaring me. Is something wrong? Has someone said something? Was it me?" He panicked. "No Michael, I promise it wasn't you." You said, walking you to him and taking his hands in your weak ones. "Then what was it? What did they say?" Michael asked referring the 'they' to the fans knowing that of it wasn't him, it was most likely them. "Nothing that wasn't true." You muttered under your breath, hoping that he wouldn't hear you. "Obviously it wasn't true, because they've said things to make you feel like this. You need to look after yourself, if not for you, then for me because I couldn't live if something were to happen to you. You're beautiful - inside and out and I wouldn't have you any other way. I love you." 💓

Just want to remind you all that you're beautiful and you deserve to live. We were created in the imagine of God and all of God's creations are beautiful. Beauty doesn't measure but love does. We are all different people so we shouldn't be compared. You wouldn't compare an Olympic Swimmer and an author and see how great they can swim because they are different people and they have different talents. If you are looking for a sign not to harm yourself, this it it. If you hate yourself, don't worry because I do too but maybe we're all just butterfly's, right? 💜💛💓💚

(A/N: Although Calum's is short, I think it has a lot of meaning to it so it doesn't matter. It's my favorite as well. 💛)
