Lucrix- Part 1

Scarlett's POV:

"Ready?" Aqua asked.
I nodded.

"Good luck. If you don't make it back home, I'll steal all your brownies." Rachel said.

She pushed me forward and ran away to Utain so that I couldn't say no to her.

A determined look spread over my face.

I'll win.
For our mothers.
For Delmas.
For them.
For Jenny.
For brownies.
And for my honor.

For a lot of things actually.
I quickly sat down with no time to los—ow.
Forgot the ground was rock and not grass.

Anyways. I quickly sat down with no time to lose and closed my eyes, allowing me to slowly drift into darkness.

A small speck of dim light appeared.
Although it wasn't very bright, it lit up the surroundings.

"This place is amazing." I gushed.

It was a hallway, covered in red velvet fabric.
I slowly walked down the hall.
Am I actually here? I actually made it?

"Hello?" I asked.

"Anyone here?"

A blank, white wall stood over me.

Strange, ancient words were carved into it. The descriptions were labeled underneath, and for some reason, I could read these words as if it was my language since I was born.

My eyes widened. Beneath said:

How could have they known the future? Something's strange about this place. More importantly, how can I get out and find Utain?

"Good luck with that." A male's voice spoke.

I jumped up ten feet, and hit my head on the ceiling. "Owwwww" I rubbed it. Wow I can really feel the pain.

"Oh my, are you alright young maiden?" Another voice said. This time, a lady.

"MAIDEN YOU SAY? WHAT KIND OF CENTURY ARE YOU IN OLD LADY? AND HOW DID YOU READ MY THOUGHTS?" I barked, still rubbing a now large bump on my head.
