27: One Deep Hole

I sat in my park and put my head down just waiting on Kemarc. To be honest, I didn’t want to do this, now having Dream on the way. I looked up and smiled and looked at the little kids playing on the playground and smiling. Just thinking about having a third baby boy made everything seems so complete. We were having another child, and I knew for sure that Charisma wasn’t going to ask for anymore kids because she was going to buy all the condoms that she can.

“Ay yo Wassup man, you ready?” I said and I looked up then he sat by me.

“Why do I feel like I can’t do that anymore?” I said and he looked at me and laughed.

“Do what? Deal?” he asked and I nodded my head, “Man, I mean if you cant do that then you might as well get the cash from your pops.” He said and I looked at him in disbelief.

I may have reconciled my relationship with dad but that didn’t mean I was going to go and beg on my knees for some damn money to get me out of debt from his workers.

“Look I could do that on my own, I don’t need his money.” I said and he sighed.

“Man they worked for the damn man-”

“Used to.”

“Man whatever, lets just damn do this, how much we have to get?”

I cleared my throat, “twenty five g’s.”

“Twenty give gs? Nigga you better start pawning shit because if you plan on getting this twenty five g’s in a month we better be robbing a bank,” I looked at him and sighed.

“We only get fifteen hundred a week each, so have to recruit some dudes,” he looked at me. If there was one thing Kemarc wasn’t the type to work with people.

“Man you know I can’t do that shit working with niggas makes me mad.” He said and I shook my head, I swear working with Kemarc was something else.

“Look I’m trying to get Drayden on board for this.” I said getting up and he sat there and looked at me.

“You picked Drayden, a dude who have more problems than your ass to help you? Great.”

I just continued to walk and ignored Kemarc; he was going to really get mad over that. He didn’t know that I was going to do but this was the only way to at least get a little closer to the light in the twenty five thousand dollar hole.
