So right now this Rallo dude was who I had to watch over especially how Alia was giving him the fuck me eyes. Everything in me just yelled jealousy and to be honest, I wasn’t the type of dude who got jealous at certain things. I was the only child so there was nothing much that I had to envy for.

I see Alia around campus but not frequently. We had only one class together but I wish it was more. I mean we majored in two different things so I couldn’t really expect much.

After countless hours of seeing chicks eye me down while I walk the campus, it got even worse during lunch.

I sat by myself beside the window and looked out the window looking at the sky. I remember Alex telling me that bright days like this was when God was happy with what was happening at the moment… or it was just a good day.

I took a bite of my pop tart and nodded my head. These pop tarts had to be the best to me, I didn’t have to eat anything for the rest of the year as long as I had these damn tarts.

“Seat taken?” I heard a voice and looked up to see a light skinned beauty with long hair. She looked Chinese but from the way she spoke, I knew she was black.

“Um naw, you could sit here,” I moved my backpack out the way and she put her tray on the table.

“Thanks. I’m Zamara by the way.” She introduced smiling.

I smiled back and nodded my head as she smiled at me.

“I’m-”

“Cory,” she interrupted and I raised my brow at her, was my name really that know in this school like that?

“You’re in the football team so your name is kind of known,” she said and I smiled back at her.

“Well I guess it’s a good thing then.”

I drank my Gatorade and had a simple small talk to her. She seemed like a nice girl with a nice background from majoring in biology and minoring in nutrition. She was sooner or later going to be a cheerleader but had to figure out how she was to balance school and cheering.

“You got a lot going on girl.”

She giggled and smiled, showing this thousand dollar smile because Alia already had the million dollar smile.

“I know but anything to help my future I’ll do it,” she smiled.

This girl was really cool though and seemed more or less down to earth.

She took out a pen and grabbed my hand and wrote the digits on the palm of my hand and I smiled taking out my phone.

“Yeah we live in a new millennium,” I joked and she grabbed my phone and put her number in saving it as ‘Baby Z’ with two hearts and a smiling face, “Cute.”

She smiled, “Maybe we could have another get together for lunch,” I nodded my head.

She smiled politely gazing into my eyes, I could tell because she was staring how girls stared at me in other classes. I just could help but smile and laugh.

“What?” she asked giggling along with me and I smiled.

“Nothing, you’re just cute, nothing serious,” I said and she batted her cute little eyes.

Her phone suddenly started ringing and she quickly got up.

“I’m sorry, my friend has been getting lost so many times, I have to save her before she goes crazy,” she said twirling her finger around her temple and I laughed.

“See you tomorrow hopefully,” I said and she smiled just walking away.

I watched precisely as she sashayed out the cafeteria giving just an extra more sway in the hips making me lick my lips seductively.

I guess I made a new friend without her going thirsty.
