Six years.
Six years since everything went into a downward spiral of pain, violence, guilt and humiliation. I had the greatest best friend, loving parents and a house to come home to where I'd smile and laugh.
It changed, drastically.
My best friend was no longer my best friend. My grades took a downpour and I was failing almost every class. I was suddenly the girl everyone feared. My dad and I chose to move away hoping things would get better.
I tried and got better along the way, picked up my failing grades. But I could never be normal as much as I tried I was always different from the rest of them. No one understood. So I got stronger not only physically but mentally.
I forget about the past, I kept some memories hidden far away.
