ONE MONTH LATER..

TOM'S POV:

New years have passed and so did the winter holidays. It's March already and Prom is in a month. Ryan asked Alison to Homecoming last year and for this year we didn't have Winter dance due to some issues that have been brought up. It was stupid and I hated not having a chance to dance with Alison in winter but I got over it. It's our last year of high school meaning this will be our Senior prom. And by all means I have to dance with Alison. I haven't seen her for a week since my family and I went on a vacation to Hawaii. They got a promotion at work and decided to go explore a new place. The good thing about this trip is that I became tanned which made me look even hotter. I deffinetly gained my confidence back.

I walked into school with my usual high ego and good looks. I wore a black oversized shirt with a yellowish print on it. My jeans were a navy colour matching well with my white hat.

A few pair of eyes flew on me as I walked into the building greeting some of my friends at the entrance. Girls were staring, guys were fuming and I was searching. For Alison of course. I didn't see her at the entrance which made me walk further down the hallway. I looked around glancing in every direction. I wanted to ask her to Prom now before anyone else tries to steal her.

I looked at the added hallway on the left whilst still walking. Suddenly I bumped into someone before being pushed away. My expression hardened as I stumbled back a little. Who the fuck would just push me away like that? These nerds sure do have a lot of confidence.

I looked infront of me my mind pausing for a moment. My eyes scrolled up the slightest meeting Ryan's eyes. Yeah, I wasn't surprised. "watch out." He glared at me.

"Watch out my ass, you wanna end up on the floor again?" I said wih a smirk growing on my face. The dude may be taller than me but he for sure wasn't stronger. Sure basketball brings people muscles but I don't think that applied to him.

"You'd be the one on the floor this time." He replied with his tone full of anger. He was most deffinetly still mad at himself for losing that fight against a guy like me. Or maybe because I'm dating the girl on his dreams.

I chuckled. "Wanna bet?"

He stayed quiet for a moment looking down at me. "I bet I'll win."

"Bet you'll lose."

"How about.." He looked around us as if he was looking for someone. His eyes met mine seconds later. "Whoever wins gets to take Alison to prom."

Oh for fucks sake. I stared at him, my expression blank. It's not that I doubt myself but I'm starting to get second thoughts about this. What if I lose? This is my ladt chance of dancing with Alison and this dude will-probably-ruin it. What if he wins? Would Alison really leave me to dance with him? Nah, she loves me. Or maybe she would really go to this guy. Maybe not. Maybe I'll win. Actually, I will win. Who the fuck is this guy to tell me otherwise? I beat him up two times already.

"I'm in." I answer with a smirk on my face again.
"This Friday at the corridor lockers. After last period."

"You, What?!" Alison furrowed her eyebrows at me looking at me with an angry look on her face. I had told her about the deal me and Ryan made and she wasn't exactly happy about it. We're still in school which means that she can't really yell at me.

"Chill, I'll win anyway. I always win." I said. Ny fingers brushed through her hair in order to calm her down but she wasn't taking it.

Her tone became even more dissapointed. "Tom, what if you don't win?"

"I will. Tell me one time I actually lost a fight." I said with a smile. "I always won with or without preparation."

"I don't want to go to prom with Ryan." She whined. "Look, not that I doubt you but.. god Tom you're stupid."

I bit my bottom lip. I fucked up pretty bad. It was either seeing Alison dissapointed or being laughed at the rest of the school year for declining a bet against Ryan. As much as I hate seeing Alison sad because of me I could not just ruin my whole reputation because of it.

I rubbed my other hand up her thigh. We were chilling in one of the empty classrooms trying not to make much noise. Since the both of us had a boring subject we decided to skip and the only free room without another couple in it was this random classroom. Luckily none of the teachers claimed it as theirs making it free 99% of the time. "Yeah, I know I'm stupid but I promise you that I'll win." I kissed her softly. "All you should worry about is what dress I'll be buying you."

"I can pay for the dress myself." Alison said pulling my closer by my waist.

I caressed her thigh. "What kind of a boyfriend makes his girlfriend pay for her prom dress herself?" I scoffed.

"A normal one?"

"Normal is not my thing."
