ALTHEA's pov.
"woah althea, it's been a hot MINUTE since i've seen u.... with jah.. looking good girl" coolie smiled as he made his way inside jahsehs house. I laid in jahsehs arms on the couch, while coolie and a few other boys made their way over to the living room.
I had been spending hella time with jahseh, we haven't really told anybody, we kinda just based it off of 'at the end of the day, we know what we're doing and who we are'
"oh my gosh.." i breathed out standing up quickly. My warm embrace tackled coolie as he laughed hugging me back.
He was one of the only ones to check up on me when i moved away. i pushed him away due to his friends, but i never stopped caring about the boy.
"how are you oh my goshhh" i squealed rocking him back and forth in my arms. "chilll gurlll, im good!" he chuckled squirming to get out of my grip.
Jahseh smiled to his friends dapping them up. "hey where my hug at!" tank exclaimed like a middle school boy as i rolled my eyes smiling. I walked over hugging him tightly. Then making my way to trunks, isaiah, and a dude name kimetrius.
We all sat down talking and catching up. "aye yall heard from ski since his last tour?" isaiah questioned scrolling on his phone. Jah stayed silent but the boys didn't.
"nah that mother fucker done blocked me!" trunks added as i widened my eyes. "nah bro had a child and dipped on all of us-"
"WHAT?" i shouted confused as to why they never told me he had a kid. "u didn't know?" tank questioned pointing at me.
"oh sorry, i forgot to tell you" jahseh spoke up chuckling. "we'll guys, give him benefit of the doubt if he has a child maybe he wants to spend time with them" i shrugged.
"nah he doesn't, he dipped on the baby mama after she had her and just handed her hella money."coolie spoke up.
"regardless, yall ain't gon speak on him. He still out bro, no matter the circumstances" jahseh stood up for the boy as i smiled. He really loved ski.
"yeah forrsure" a few of them agreed. Jahseh ran his hand up and down my knee. "I can try and talk to him.. " i insisted as tank nodded. "go for it, i doubt he'll even talk to u tho" isaiah spoke up.
"we'll, worth a shot" i stood up grabbing my phone. I rang his number a few times.
"hello?" he questioned as i placed it on speaker widening my eyes. "uh, hey stoke.." i spoke softly.
"oh.. what's up t?" he questioned confused as i muted it quickly. "what do i say?" i asked looking at them. Jahseh started snapping. "ask him how he's been or sum"
"how've you been?" i spoke unmuting it. "good girl, why you calling me? we haven't talked inna long ass time. Jah would be pissed if he knew u was calling me"
"yeah, he might... uh i'm good tho stoke! wondering if u wanted to meet up sometime when ur in town?" i questioned.
"what are u trynna set me up or sum?" he asked seriously as i rolled my eyes. "no-"
"i just wanted to... you know what i'm not gonna bullshit this. How could you disown ur OWN brothers, you can't own up or even text them back. You're a dick for that, they needed u! it doesn't matter if u have a child or whatever going on, u could've atleast told them! especially jahseh, he's done nothing but defended and helped u thru everything, and U just got up and left when things got hard!" i exclaimed as he scoffed.
"you're one to talk, you don't know shit about me or my decisions althea!" he spoke angrily. "well , i do know that you fucked up. And anyone could see that." i shot back.
"whatever." he hung up as i scoffed. "whata jerk-"
"why the hell would u say that!" jahseh's exclaimed confused. "i was standing up for-"
"no ! that is not how u stand up for someone thea!" jahseh slapped his hands together standing up angrily.
"i was just trying to hel-"
"we'll u didn't! God.. CAN YOU- can you just go upstairs?" he spoke exhaustedly.
I looked at him in disbelief. Standing up i shouldered him and walked upstairs.
I laid sadlt, my head facing the ceiling as i stared, watching the outside get darker by the minutes.
My phone buzzed.
it was stokeley.
"Meet Me At The Local Starbucks Tomorrow Around 2. Im In Town, I'll Explain Everything.."
