In Japan, celebrating Valentine's day holds significance for a lot of people. Although not all celebrate this event, Valentine's day has been popular among young folks, especially middle and high school students. Comparing to it to Russia, Russians celebrate Valentine's more passionately. It's customary in Japan for women to hand out either obligatory or romantic chocolates to the men and is expected to receive something in return during White day, in Russia, it is the men who make effort in celebrating the day of love with a lover, mother, or sister with fancy dinners or gifts.

A year ago, Umi and Sakura found themselves in a culture shock during Valentine's day in Russia. They grew up knowing that they could hand out chocolates to male friends. However, in Russia, it was the other way around. Men bombarded them with gifts, may it be jewelry, candies, or perfumes. Some took the courage of asking them out to a restaurant for a romantic dinner which proved as a challenge turning down each invitation.

February 14 is the day the world celebrates the day of love. However, it is not only Valentine's day for the students of Wolfsbane as it is also the day they celebrate Zasha's birthday.

She's turning 16 tomorrow and she couldn't be any more excited knowing she'd get to celebrate another year happily.

"You could rip your cheeks off with the way you smile," Sakura commented with a smirk as she leaned on the kitchen aisle while glancing at her blonde-haired friend. She silently thanked Umi who handed her a warm cup of tea. "Excited?"

Zasha grinned and tried to press her hands on her cheeks, "Mmhmm. I'm just a little excited knowing that I'd get to celebrate valentine's with you and uncle."

"It's also your birthday." Umi reminded, handing Zasha her cup.

"Even better!" the blonde beamed.

Sakura let out a satisfied hum as she took a sip from the cup "Do you want anything for tomorrow?"

"A yacht!"

"Be more realistic!"

Tilting her head to the side, Zasha gave it a good thought. She got a good family and people who support her. Materially speaking, she has everything in her grasp and she's always thankful for that. "There's nothing really that comes to mind. Maybe just celebrating with everyone would be nice!" she giggled, cupping the warm cup with her hands.

Umi and Sakura gave each other a knowing look before smiling. Sakura's smirk widens as she suggested, "I can make you a chocolate cake for tomorrow." Valentine's day.. We also have to consider making chocolates- oh. Sakura's lips formed into an "Oh" as she remembered the customs. They're not in Russia right now so they could make some sweets to hand out. "Are you planning in giving Bakugo an honmei-chocos?"

Zasha blinked thrice and asked, "honmei?"

"Homemade chocolates" Umi answered, briefly explaining to her how Japan celebrates valentine's day. "Don't worry. It's not mandatory but since Sakura and I are more used to this, we're planning on making some later-"

"I WANT TO DO IT!" Zasha almost jumped in her position as she excitedly looked at Sakura. She's used to receiving gifts on Valentine's day so she's quite curious about making and giving chocolates to others. "That sounds so romantic!" she placed her cup down to hold Sakura's who was struggling not to spill the contents of her cup. "Please teach me how to make chocolate! I want to do it! Pretty please!"
