˜"*°• when asuka was a trainee at jyp, he never talked much to other groups other than skz because he didn't know for definite if he would debut with skz. there was a rumour going around the jyp building that a trainee likes asuka. he didn't delve much into it considering it was only a rumour and he had heard it from a stylist. when asuka left jyp, he didn't hear about the girl ever again.
that was until chaeryeong from itzy spoke up about liking an idol when she was a trainee, and how it got spread around the building. asuka realised that the situation was exactly the same and got in contact with chaeryeong. she told him she used to like him when they were both trainees and asuka felt bad about not doing anything about it
chaeryeong was super nice about the situation and she also felt bad for not telling him and letting it stay as a rumour. they two idols became friends after the situation.

she loves his tone of voice and often compliments the boy. asuka was happy to hear the news until she was kicked out of g-idle for unfortunate reasons. then after the scandal, asuka took no notice of her comments but in reality he was quite sad about the whole situation as he really wanted to get to know her despite being shy.
