˜"*°• PEANUT INCIDENT, 2018

˜"*°• i was just chilling in the kitchen of our dorm, with wooyoung and seonghwa cooking the members dinner. i was super hungry while waiting so i looked around for some snacks in the mean time. everyone was either in their rooms or playing games on the sitting room tv.

"what you looking for bub?" seonghwa questioned and i shrugged

" a snack." i said

" there's some peanuts in the cupboard." seonghwa said, and i nodded

˜"*°• i had never had peanuts before, so i brought them out the cupboard and opened them up. i put some in my hand, and then gave them to both seonghwa and wooyoung before grabbing more in my hand and putting them in my mouth. i chewed them, not really liking the taste of them but i swallowed them regardless

˜"*°• i put them aside after eating like 5 of them at once.

"i don't like them." i said to seonghwa, who only nodded because he was concentrating on plating all the food

" can you get the others ready?" he questioned and i nodded

˜"*°• i first got san from out of his room, and together we went to collect yeosang and jongho. mingi, yunho and hongjoong were all in the living room area playing games or on their phones.

"food's ready guys." i said, and kicked yunho lightly on his leg. they nodded and stood up to meet at the table.

˜"*°• as i was walking to the kitchen, everything seemed to blur for a second. i wiped my eyes and continued on to the table, i didn't realise how out of breath i was.

" you okay, dove?" i heard someone ask, i lifted my head to wooyoung looking at me weirdly

" i think so?" i questioned, why was i suddenly dizzy

˜"*°• i was handed a glass of water from a worried wooyoung, and i took a gulp of it only to cough it back up. i was struggling to swallow.

" what the hell?" mingi laughed

i was panicking now. i coughed to try and clear my airway but the more i tried to breath in, i panicked more because i felt like i couldn't breath.

" asuka?"

˜"*°• i shook my head and pointed to my throat, hoping someone will understand that i was struggling to breath. i heard clashing of plates, and a hand rubbing my back up and down.

"what's wrong?" hongjoong demanded

"i cant breathe." i huffed out

˜"*°• i could only take shallow breaths as the members were running around, and ringing our manager. everything was slightly blurry as someone was trying to get me to lie down. i hit the floor hard

˜"*°• i woke up in the hospital. tubes coming in and out of my arms, and all sorts of stuff. all the members were sitting around the bed. i swallowed, and my throat was way better, i could swallow and breath better now.

"guys?"

everyone snapped to look up to me and smiled when they saw i was awake. 

" you scared the shit out of us." hongjoong said first, and i smiled lightly

˜"*°• i found out that i have anaphylaxis which is the most severe type of allergic reaction to peanuts. a lot of the symptoms were what i experienced like lack of breathing, swollen throat, dizziness and fainting. the doctors said i got here just in time before my throat cut off all my oxygen completely

" holy shit, death by peanuts." i chuckled but seonghwa hit my arm hard, he didn't find it funny

mingi did though

" we released a statement saying your taking a week off from the schedule." our manager stated and i nodded in understanding

" i cant believe you almost died." jongho said with a shiver

"we're getting rid of everything peanuts." seonghwa said determinedly, and i laughed
