Hailey and Jay were at the hospital standing outside Anna's room. They watched as the doctors did everything they could to save her but it was too late. Hailey started shaking when they pronounced her. Jay noticed this and took her outside.

"Hey hails are you ok?" Jay asked concerned

Voights gonna kill me Annas death is on me" Hailey said shakily.

"No Hails this is not on you she had a gun she shot voight she would have shot one of us or an innocent civilian. It was a good shoot" Jay told her

They were able to close the case soon after. When they got home Hailey was sore from the explosion. Jay noticed she was moving slower than usual.

"Hey hails are you sore" Jay asked

"Yeah" Hailey replied

"I'm sorry babe take some Advil," Jay told her

"Ok" Hailey replied

They ordered pizza and wings for dinner and watched movies to destress. They watched movies for a couple of hours and then got ready for bed. They got in bed and started to give her a massage.

"Thanks," Hailey said

"Of course, I can tell you hurting and you've had a rough day" Jay replied

Hailey fell asleep as Jay was massaging her back. She didn't stay asleep for long and was tossing and turning an hour later. Jay woke up to her tossing and turning

"Hey babe are you ok," jay asked rubbing her back

"Yeah I just can't get what happened with Anna out of my head" Hailey replied

"I'm sorry babe but none of it was your fault her death is not on you none of this is you don't blame yourself," Jay told her

"Voight probably blames me for it though he's going to be mad at me for It," Hailey said shakily

'No I'm not gonna let that happen I'm not going to let him yell at you this is not your fault" jay told her

He pulled her into his chest and began rubbing her back. She fell asleep for about an hour and a half. She woke up still in Jay's arms and stared at the wall until their alarm went off. Jay noticed she was anxious. She was sitting at the kitchen table bouncing her leg.

"Hey, babe it's ok I'm not gonna let anything happen to you I'm not going to let voight do anything to you" Jay reassured her.

They got to work and Voight glared at them and didn't say good morning. Hailey tensed when he glared at her

"Your ok it's ok I'm here" Jay whispered in her ear.

They caught a scene and all went out to investigate. Voight wasn't talking to Hailey much and when he did give her an order he did so in an aggressive tone and didn't look her in the eye. He was also being more aggressive than usual; he was slamming doors and other things at the scene which was scaring Hailey. Jay could tell her anxiety was spiking. She had her hands squeezed into tight fists which she only did when she was trying not to cry.

"Hey babe it's going to be ok do you want me to talk to him," Jay asked

"No I don't want to make it worse I just want this day to be over" Hailey replied

"I'm sorry hails just want to remind you none of this was your fault.

They finished investigating the scene around lunch. The team split up for lunch. Jay and Hailey went for sushi. When they got back Hailey was watching traffic cams when she saw the suspect's vehicle.
