Blurb:

Self-proclaimed weirdo April Hale and the notorious troublemaker Ryder Black have been living side by side for more than ten years. Both never attempted to communicate with each other, but on the night Ryder Black is thrown out by his own father, he asks her a question that might change both of their lives: "March, will you let me stay in your room?" He even got her name wrong.

A coming of age story about loss, the wonders of falling in love, and ultimately, pretending to be normal. Get inside April's distorted and yet humorous perspective, and watch as her tale unfolds into a shocking finish.

My Two-cent:

A story of two neighbors: a bad boy and a girl that has hard time reading social cues and emotions. A deadly combination indeed. I actually came across this by accident and thank lord I did! One of my favorite till this day. This book had got some moments where I wanted to smack the protagonist, April's head for being so unaware of things but then again with her situation I couldn't be annoyed either. I loved Ryder. He was un-perfectly perfect! This story does shed some lights on the disorder knows as Asperger's Syndrome. People generally don't understand mental health issues and label those people as "retard" without knowing how hard it is for them to survive between the "normals". This was really a beautiful story and I hope people out there like April find their own Ryder that can understand them and love them.

Status: Completed

**The picture on top: I can just picture April saying that. :D
