Kiyomi, (pronounced Naomi) the oldest of the Edmonds children, loves to invent things. She is only 14 inventing things that are used in their house. You could tell when she's about to make something when she ties her long black hair back with a ribbon. She would invent things with random items in the house and put them to good use. No one was superior enough to test her inventions other than her brother.

Ayden Edmonds, the middle child, loves books, or what he learned from reading books. The Edmonds had an enormous library in their mansion. A room filled with thousands of interesting books for Ayden to read from. Nothing satisfied him more than spending hours of the day filling his head up with facts from books. Everything he read he remembered for future references.

Briana Edmonds, the youngest, was interested in chewing things. She would chew things with her four sharp teeth, two on top and two on the bottom. It was very rare that Briana didn't enjoy biting. She would bite anything and everything she could get her teeth on, no matter how hard the material. Briana has her own baby language that only the Edmonds understands because she has a speech delay.

The kids, Kiyomi, Ayden, and Briana were at the shore. Kiyomi was making an invention, Ayden was skipping pebbles in the water, and Briana was carving a stone in a heart shape for her parents with her incredibly sharp teeth. They were about to go back home with their parents when Mr. Poe, the town's financial banker, walked up to them.
