The next morning

Cookie walked into Empire with a big smile on her face and a slight limp. She walked into her office and was greeted by Porsha.

"Mm, Cookie what man was you with last night?" Porsha asked eyeing her up and down.

"Mind your business."

"Mm, it was Lucious right?" Cookie ignored her and sat at her desk.

"Oh my god! Yes, it was him!"

"Shh! Shut your ass up! Loud as hell." She said rolling her eyes.

"He's still with boo boo kitty you know right?"

"Yes."

"Well just know that I'm rooting for y'all." There was a knock on the door and Porsha opened it.

"Hey, Ma."

"Hey, Mal, what's up?"

"Dad wants to see you in his office, he didn't say what though." Jamal said confused.

"Okay, I'm coming."

"Mmm." Porsha mumbled. Cookie got up and walked out of her office.

"Ma you okay? You have a little limp."

"Yeah, I- I just hit my leg on the dresser." She lied.

"Oh okay." They walked to Lucious' office and the door was already opened. She walked in and saw Lucious sitting at his desk.

"You can go Mal." Lucious said and he left before closing the door.

"I see you have a limp. Daddy put in that work." He said chuckling.

"You are so stupid. Where's everyone else?" She asked.

"It's just me and you for now."

"Hmm." She mumbled before taking a seat on his desk. Lucious was going to go and kiss her but she backed away.

"If you want Cookies nookie you have to ditch the bitch."

"I'll do it. I promise." Cookie smiled before leaning in to kiss him.

"Mmm." Someone knocked on the door and they pulled away.

"Who's that?" Cookie asked.

"Anika, imma do it now." Cookie smiled widely.

"Come in." He said and Anika walked in typing on her phone.

"Hey babe, I— what is she doing here?"

"I'm breaking up with you." Lucious said nonchalantly.

"I- what?"

"You heard him." Cookie said.

"I should've known this was coming."

"What?"

"I saw you two last night. I should've known that you guys were still in love with each other." Anika confessed.

"I mean what did you expect, after all, she is the love of my life." Cookie blushed while looking at Lucious.

"Ughhh!" Anika groaned.

"Oh, and I found out that she's working with Baretti. She tried to bring Porsha down with her too." Cookie said ratting Anika out. Anika held an evil expression on her face as she looked at Cookie.
