LISA
"DON'T CUT YOUR communication with me, okay? Take care there. And send my hello to your parents." Jennie said while caressing my hands. I am now here at our private airport because now is my flight towards my hometown. Some of the squad are here, too. But among all of them, Jennie is the only one being dramatic right now like I'll be gone for years.
"Nini, don't worry, okay? I'll be gone for just a month. I'll be back soon."
"You can't stop me from worrying. A month is so long for me." She replied with a pout. I chuckled. "I'll call you tomorrow. Make sure to answer it or I'll beat you up when you came back." I chuckled and nodded at her.
"I'll be back. I love you." I softly kissed her forehead and smiled at her after. I looked at the squad. "I'll go now. I'll be late if I will stay here more."
"Yah Limario! Take care there. Come back soon." Jisoo unnie said and hugged me followed by the others. I patted their backs and pulled away from them.
"Sehun, take care of Lisa, okay?" Kai oppa said to Sehun who will go with me.
"Ofcourse. We'll go now. Let's go, Lis." I bid my goodbyes before we headed to our private plane.
"We'll go now, Lis?" Our private pilot—Mino—asked. I just nodded at him as me and Sehun sat on our seat.
"Do you think your parents still remember me?" He suddenly asked while looking at me. I gave him an assurance smile.
"Ofcourse. You are so special to them, Sehun. They won't forget you." I replied and patted his shoulders. He smiled back at me.
I wear my earphones and played some songs so I can have a sleep since it's a long flight.

I woke up when I felt someone tapping me. I rubbed my eyes before I opened it and I realized that we already arrived.
"We're already here." Sehun told me. He took my bag and went out of the plane first.
"When will I pick you up?" Mino asked me.
"I'll just message you. Before you go, you can eat some food first. We had a long flight earlier. You must be tired. Take a rest first before you go." I told him.
"Sure. Enjoy your month here, Lisa."
"Yeah. I'll go now." I went out of the plane and ran to Sehun. I was about to take my bag from him when he stopped me.
"Let me carry it." He softly said. I couldn't help but to smile. He's still a gentleman. Since he's a persistent person, I just let him carry it. "Will we go straight to your house?" He asked.
"Sure. My parents are already waiting for us."
"So, they knew that I went with you?"
"Yes. I told them. Things like that should be told right away." I joked in which caused him to chuckle.
Actually, it was a lie. I didn't tell my parents that Sehun went with me. It's gonna be a surprise.
We waited for our service on the sidewalk. After a few minutes, a silver car stopped infront of us. Sehun opened the door for me and let me in first before him.
When we're already inside the car, we made our way towards our house.
"Did Jennie message you?" He suddenly asked.
"Not yet. Maybe later or tomorrow. But she promised to call me tomorrow."
"Oh. Alright."
"Why did you ask?"
"Nothing. Anyway, Kai said he will keep his eyes on Jennie and take care of her while you are away." My brows furrowed. Yeah, okay, I shouldn't doubt Kai nor Jennie. I should trust them. But since the day Sehun told me that Kai and my girlfriend exchanged numbers, it's always bothering me. "Again, trust Kai. I already warned him that he should not fall inlove with your girlfriend or whatsoever. You can trust him. He's you bestfriend now, right? You two really became closer. He won't break your trust." He uttered and gave me an assurance smile. I just forced a smile on him.
I hope so.

When we arrived, I excitingly went inside to see my parents. It's been a long time. I miss them. Especially my mom.
"Mom!" With my tears that are about to fall down, I threw myself on my mom and hugged him tightly.
"Lisa! My daughter. I missed you." She whispered right in my ear and kissed my temple as she caressed my back.
"I missed you too, Mom." Another arm wrapped around me and my mom and at that moment, I couldn't help but to cry. It's my dad. The hug I've been longing for. I can feel his warmth. The last time I felt it was when I was just a 3 years old kid.
"It's good to see you again, Pranpriya. We missed you so much." My dad said and softly kissed my hair.
I pulled away from them and wiped my tears first before looking at my parents.
"Guess who's with me."
"Jennie? Your girlfriend? Or someone else?" I was taken aback and blinked repeatedly.
"You knew Jennie?"
"Ofcourse, hun. We are updated." I just let out a sigh.
"It's someone else." Sehun went inside of our house with a big smile on his face. Their eyes widened. Without wasting even a second, Mom quickly embraced him. I already expected it. My Mom and Sehun are really close to each other.
"Sehun, it's nice to see you again. It's been a long time." My Mom said after she pulled away from the hug.
"It's nice to see you again too, Aunt."
"Call me Mom. Just like the old times." Mom stated which caused me to chuckle.
"Oh Sehun. Are you not going to greet me?" We looked at my Dad. Well, they're not close. Really. But I guess, everything will be fine now since my father matured a lot.
"Uncle."
"Call me Dad."
I watched Sehun as he slightly embraced my dad. It's nice to see them like that. I hope, they will get closer too.
"A'right! Sehun, you will take that room beside Lisa's room. Now, go and fix your things." He ordered. We headed to our room and just like what my Dad ordered us to do, we start to fix our things. I just bought some clothes that are enough for my one month stay here.
After arranging my things, I took out my phone from my pocket and dialed Rosie's number. She quickly picked it up.
"Lisa? Lisa!" She shouted from the other line.
"Hi. We just arrived here. Are you with Jisoo unnie?"
"Yup. She will live here with me for awhile. Is that okay? You know, I think I need your permission first since we once lived together here." I chuckled.
"Ofcourse, Rosie. Just make sure that you won't wake up our neighbors in the middle of the night." I said in a teasing way. If you are already open minded, you will understand what I am saying.
"Oh gosh. Lalisa! I hate you! It's still early for that, okay?"
"Why? There's nothing wrong on doing that, chipmunk. Just make sure that you won't get pregnant yet."
"Yah! I will really beat the hell out of you when you came back."
"Did I say something wrong?"
"You just said it, bitch." I couldn't help but to laugh because of her words.
"Alright, sorry. Can I talk to Jisoo unnie?"
"Sure. Chu! Lisa wants to talk to you."
"Limario!" I flinched when I heard Jisoo's loud voice.
"Unnie! Can you stop calling me that?" I irritatedly asked.
"Why? It's so cute!" I groaned in annoyance.
"It is not."
"Whatever. So, do you want to say something?"
"When is the wedding?" I jokingly asked her.
"Oh shit, here we go again." I let out a soft chuckle.
It's really fun to tease Jisoo unnie. When she reaches her limit, it's either she will punch you straight on your face or will start cussing at you. At this point, she can't punch me since I'm away from her.
"I'm just asking here."
"Then I won't give you an answer. Damn it, Lisa! Stop asking the same question!" I laughed out loud.
"Why? Do you have no plans to marry her?"
"I have plans, Lis. It's just that, it's too early to talk about that."
"Alright. I understand. Unnie, how's Jennie? Is she okay?"
"Oh, as far as I know, she went out with her friend Nayeon and I think, Kai is with them too."
"Oh. Okay."
"She didn't tell you, am I right?"
"Yeah. But I understand. She can do what she wants, unnie. I can't control her life."
"Hey, hey. Maybe she forgot. I know what you are thinking right now." I let out a deep sigh and cleared my throat. "You know, Jongin is a nice guy. You knew that, right? He's so fun to be with. No wonder why Jennie chose to be friend with him, too. Stop doubting your bestfriend and your girlfriend, Lis. Trust them. Remember, you and Sehun are so close. You two are good friends. The same goes with Jongin and Jennie. Well, maybe they're not that close yet. But I can see that they're already a good friends. Just think like that, okay?"
This is what I love about Jisoo unnie. She will always be the one to comfort me and calm me down. She's always there for me. So I am so lucky to have her in my life.
"You're right, Chu."
"That's it. Easy, okay?"
"Yeah."
"Should I end the call now? Or pass it to Chaeng again?"
"No no. I'll end the call now. I still need to do something."
"Alright. Take care, Lali. I love you." I smiled.
"I love you too, unnie. Bye." I ended the call after that.
Damn, Lisa. Why am I doubting my girlfriend and Kai oppa? Aish. Chu is right. It is normal to be friends with the opposite gender. Like me and Sehun. Argh. I hate myself for doubting them.
"Lis? Dad told us to eat first since we had a long flight. Come on." I heard Sehun said after he knocked on my door. I put my phone in my drawer and went out of my room. "I thought, you fell asleep."
"Nope. I called Rosie and Jisoo unnie to inform them that we already arrived."
"Just them? What about the squad? And your girlfriend?" He asked while we're walking down the stairs.
"I'll just call them tomorrow. I am tired." He softly chuckled. I looked at him with my brows furrowed.
"You should get some rest later after eating." I just smiled at him.
We spotted my parents waiting for us so we immediately sat on our seats and began eating the foods.
"Lisa, when will you briny your girlfriend here? We want to meet her personally." I almost spit out my food upon hearing those from my Mom. I wiped my mouth first with a napkin before answering her.
"I don't know yet, Mom. But don't worry, I'll bring her here."
"That's good to hear. I heard from Rosé that you are living with Jennie already. You should've informed us."
"I'm sorry. I forgot to tell you. But it is okay, right? That I'm now living with her? You don't need to worry because we have separate rooms."
"It is fine, sweetheart. As long as you won't rush things. You know what I mean. And why have separate rooms? Don't you want to be with her in one room?"
"Just like what you said, I don't want to rush things, Mom. Living with her is enough for me, for now."
"That's right, Lalisa. But you know, you can sleep together in one room as long as you know how to control yourselves." Dad uttered.
"I'll keep that in mind, Dad."
After we finished eating, we watched some movies together It's already 9 in the evening when we stopped on watching. I said goodnight to them first before I went to my room and took a bath. I badly want to call Jennie right now but maybe she's asleep already and I don't want to disturb her anymore. So in the end, after taking a bath, I already threw myself on my bed and drifted off to sleep.

I woke up because of the sound of my phone alarm. I turned it off and sat up. What should I do today? Maybe I'll ask Sehun to accompany me on strolling around. It's already been a long time. I don't know if I can still recognize each place here in Thailand.
I grabbed my phone and opened my message box to check if Jennie left a message for me. But to my dismay, there's none. Maybe she's still asleep. It's just 8 in the morning. She's normally waking up around 10 or 11. Aigoo. That girl.
I wore my slippers before I headed to the kitchen. Am I the first one who woke up? It seems like my parents and Sehun are still sleeping. I opened the fridge and pour some milk in my glass. At this age, I still love milk. Drinking milk after I woke up already became my routine.
While I'm busy on drinking my milk, I heard my phone rang. I saw Jisoo unnie's caller ID so I quickly picked it up.
"Good morning, unnie. Why did you call?"
"Good morning to you, too. I just want to check you. Why? Am I not allowed to do it?"
"Oh come on, Chu. Are you sick or what? This is not you. So, what do you want?"
"Well, ahm, how will I say this? I want to go on a date with my pasta."
"Your pasta? Why would you go on a date with a pasta?" I heard her deep sigh.
"With Rosé, Lisa. Pasta is the nickname I gave her, right? Tch." I couldn't help but to soft chuckle.
"Sorry, sorry. So, what now? Then go on a date with her." I said with my brows furrowed, confused about why she still need to inform me.
"I don't know where to bring her." I almost facepalm myself. I forgot that this is her first time to be in a relationship so she clearly didn't have any idea about those things.
"Unnie, just be honest with her. Just ask her about where she wants to go and have a date there."
"I'm nervous!"
"Don't be nervous. It is just a date. It's not your wedding yet." I uttered in a teasing way.
"Aish! You're not helping!" I laughed.
"Just ask her, unnie. She won't get mad. Instead, she will find it cute."
"Really?"
"Really really."
"Alright. Thank you, Lalisa! Take care!"
"Yeah. Bye." And I ended the call after that.
"Good morning, Lis." I turned around and saw Sehun with his cute morning hair. I just smiled at him as a response. "What are you planning to do today?"
"Stay in my room and do nothing." He softly chuckled.
"As expected from you."
9am, 10am, 11am, 12 noon. But still, no call or message from Jennie. And I'm wondering why. It's impossible that she forgot it because she has a sharp memory. And if she is busy, she will inform me for sure.
She promised to call me today. But she didn't. I keep on telling myself that maybe she is busy with something. But there's something wrong. Really. But I can't point out what it is.
Since earlier, I'm just here in the living room with Sehun. My parents are out. They'll come home tomorrow.
"Lisa, everything's fine?" Sehun worriedly asked me. I forced a smile.
"Yeah. I think, I need to take some rest."
"Sure." I stood up and entered my room. I threw myself on my bed.
She's just busy, Lisa. Stop being paranoid.
Minutes had passed and still no call or message from her. I dialed Chu's number. Gladly, she picked it up.
"Chu!"
"Oh gosh, Lisa, you scared me! What is it? Is there something wrong?" I sighed.
"Do you know where Jennie is or what she is doing right now? She didn't call me nor message me since yesterday."
"I don't know. But I saw her earlier with Kai. They're hanging out in the nearest mall here." I couldn't help but to sigh again. "Stop waiting and be the first to call her." She stated.
"Alright. Thank you, Chu."
"No problem. Bye!" She said before ending the call. I carefully typed Jennie's number and tap the dial button. It keeps on ringing. But she's not picking up. In the end, I just gave up.
I sighed in disappointment. Is it wrong that I left her there and didn't bring her here with me?
I was about to go to the bathroom and take a bath when my phone vibrated signaling that someone messaged me. I checked it and saw Jennie's name.

Lili, I'm sorry if I didn't able to call you earlier. I went out to stroll around and I forgot to bring my phone with me. I'm home now. I'm really sorry, honey :( I love you. Take care. I miss you already.
A kinda sweet message from Jennie. I should be smiling already, but I don't know why. Her message didn't even make me smile. Didn't even make me happy.
Jisoo said that Jennie went out with Kai and hang out in the nearest mall there. But why Jennie didn't mention it?
I'm going crazy. I shouldn't doubt them.

CHAPTER 25: PREVIEW
"Jennie, can I ask something?"
"Sure, baby. What is it?" She asked from the other line.
"Why aren't you informing me whenever you're hanging out with Kai oppa? You know, I wanna know what you are doing each single day without me. If you are sad, or happy, or fine, doing well. Things like that." I carefully said to her.
It took her seconds before she answered my question.
"Sorry. I'll inform you next time. I need to hang up now, honey. Take care there. I love you." She already ended the call before I could even say 'I love you, too' to her.
I just sighed. Why do I feel like she's not the same Jennie anymore? Is there really something wrong? Or I'm just really being paranoid?
