Baekhyun sat upright, mustering up all the courage he has before Luhan arrives and probably preparing his gears with him before a sudden war might outbreak between them. He was anticipating his employee's reaction if he told him the truth. He felt very jerky on his sit which he always assume is a bad sign. In moments when he felt jumpy, he already knew something wrong would come up.
Minutes later, the bell rang, indicating someone came. Baekhyun took a peek and saw Luhan, not Luna. The puppy was confused. Later there would be work so the outfit of Luhan left him bewildered. Nonetheless, he figured the latter might tell him why is he in his "boy clothes".
As Luhan entered he searched where his boss would be. Seeing a rather upright hair behind a designed wall, he figured it's Baekhyun. He tried not to laugh at the erected strands of hair that was stiffened, looking like a small plant.
Luhan greeted him before taking the seat opposite of Baekhyun. Baekhyun's eyes blinking and searching the room which he has already memorized. He felt very nervous and thinking of the words he must ask.
"Umm, we'll start with the introduction... Like we did when we weren't a boss and employee", stammered Baekhyun as he eyed the pretty human. Luhan nodded tensely.
"I'm Byun Baekhyun.,. The jackass of Kaisoo High... Well, that's what they usually called me but I'm not! Also, do you believe them when they said that?" Baekhyun looked at Luhan who shook his head side to side. The puppy was relieved that Luhan never believed in those rumors.
"Anyway, you know me, and I know that very well", Luhan gave him a strained smile, nervously chuckled as he remembered the times when he would join his friends to badmouth this innocent popular kid.
"Now your turn", chirped Baekhyun.
"Umm, I'm Lu Han umm the famous giant nerd's best friend. And uhh since it's been a long time ago, he is one of those people who uhh someone who secretly admires you."
Baekhyun's ears perked up upon hearing that. He even questioned why'd Luhan needed to add that kind of information but at the same time very thankful that he said so. Do I have a chance? Will he be mine? Am I going to be with him in the future? Does he still like me though?? Those thoughts lingered in his petty little head. His eyes showed high hopes and love hearts that anyone would recognize as someone whipped. However, the person opposite him seems to be focusing on other kinds of stuff.
Time passed and neither of them said a word. After the little get to know each other they did, not a soul uttered any words. Baekhyun felt suffocating by the eerie silence that engulfed both of them. Luhan on the other hand wanted his boss to set him off already because of the weird tension between them. Finally, Baekhyun felt it was enough and he has to be the one who would break the ice.
"Okay, it's fucking 7 in the morning and I called you for what? For a lame introduction? Ugh! This is fucking hilarious. My stomach is even aching from how comical this is. Ha, ha, ha", Bakhyun clutched onto his stomach and let out dry chuckles. Luhan gave an uneasy smile, pretending to laugh as well. Baekhyun rubbed his face with his palms and showed a frustrated expression. This wasn't what he had in mind when he thought of talking with the latter.
"Ermm, how bout we go-"
"Shopping?!" Baekhyun's eyes lit up of mentioning the activity. However, to be truly honest, he indeed intended to want to go shopping.
"I was about to say window shopping, but I guess that works as well?" Luhan mumbled quietly.
Baekhyun stood up and fished his phone from his pocket, calling a certain person that he knows would curse at him once he answers his call.
"MORNING!" chirped Baekhyun once his phone call was answered. A groan was heard from the other line, who was trying to compose himself before he snaps at the older.
"Baek..."
"Yeah?" Baekhyun enthusiastically replied.
"Fuck you and your fucking loudmouth, Byun fucking Baekhyun. It's fucking 7 in the fucking morning, fucker. What do you fucking want, shithead? This better is fucking important, dimwit."
Baekhyun smiled but was mentally crying at how much fucks Kyungsoo has in his words. He huffed happily and prepared for his more cusses.
"Let's go shopping!"
"..."
Baekhyun blinked his eyes when the younger didn't respond to his loud voice. Did he put the phone down? It wasn't the case since Baekhyun momentarily would take a glance at his phone if the line was dead. He put it back to his ear and smiled when Kyungsoo shouted to him from the other line.
"BYUN, DAMN YOU SON OF AN ASSHOLE. THAT'S IT, ONCE I'M FULLY AWAKE, cuz right now my eyes are still droopy and I'm tired from work. YEAH I WORKED LATE LAST NIGHT DUMB BITCH AND YOU WOKE ME UP BY YOUR FUCKING USELESS PHONE CALL, WHAT YOU GOTTA SAY ABOUT THA--"
"I'll treat you", Baekhyun finally squeaked out for the younger to not get anymore madder at him.
"Buy anything you want, I'll pay for them all."
"... Meet me at Do Bus Station."
Baekhyun chuckled when he heard the sheets being moved, knowing that Kyungsoo would never miss opportunities as rare as this kind. Luhan who was listening with the conversation almost lose his sanity. Plus, Baekhyun's phone is on speaker.
"Oh, I almost forgot, someone, is coming with us too", the other line stopped shuffling and paused.
"Who?"
"Luhan!"
"Okay... Wait, Sehun's boyfriend?"
Baekhyun blinked his eyes again, but a scene played in his mind which was yesterday's event of Sehun and Luhan together by the counter. Slowly, Baekhyun looked at Luhan who turned pale and nervous and embarrassed who was eyeing his boss with big eyes that showed he was caught red-handed.
"Omg, it IS true! AHHHHHHHHHHH!" the supposed boss started to get out of hand, seeing he went "ka-boom!" at the fact that he and Sehun are a thing. I mean, who wouldn't celebrate if someone has the incredible Park Sehun to be their boyfriend.
"Imma go now, see y'all later if you don't want me being late... Though I'm pretty sure you're the one who'll be late."
"Okay fine, BYE!"
"Let's go!" Baekhyun shouted. He snatched Luhan's wrist startling the other and dragged themselves out of the restaurant.

Luhan mesmerized at the place before the three. Immediately, Kyungsoo went and made a shopping spree, buying anything affordable. Though he did buy one expensive clothing and it was the only thing that he bought that was rather not in the sale. Baekhyun didn't mind and just gave his elite card. Luhan, who was having a hard time buying, knowing very well he didn't want to spend too much was stuck in eating ice cream instead. Baekhyun felt bad, so he did what you expected. However, Luhan still picked clothes that weren't too expensive and some cosmetics to go on with the outfits.
Baekhyun gawked when he saw a pile of stuff in a cart Kyungsoo was punching. Kyungsoo only smirked at his reaction, knowing very well his friend would feel his money being taken away from him.
"That's fucking a lot! REDUCE IT NOW!"
"But you can't go back to your words now, hun. You said it yourself", Kyungsoo took out his phone and pressed the play button. It was a record Kyungsoo took, luckily, when Baekhyun said his sentence. Baekhyun's jaw dropped.
"Wha- NOT FAIR!"
"Yes, it is dimwit! NOW I'M PAYING! TOODLES~"
"WHA- KYUNGSOO! DON'T YOU DARE! GIVE IT BACK!"
Luhan was left with his clothes, following the two who were bickering nonstop. He even apologized to the other workers who were there just so the two won't get embarrassed afterward.
These two I swear...
Luhan chuckled to himself and went to the counter beside Kyungsoo.
