Also i knownthey have their problems but finnona isnt toxic i swear 😭 theyre just dumb kids plus this season was so poorly written for finn so im trying my best
Winona showed up to school on time as usual, and made her perfect coffee blend. It was routine at this point, but something seemed very off, she just couldn't put her finger on it.
It eventually dawned on her that Finn, nor Mr. Schuester was there.
The first idea that popped in her head was to check the classrooms for either of them, but instead, all she found was Sam and Blaine discussing their guilty pleasures infront of a few impressive macaroni paintings. One of them, was Kurt, and next to it— Winona. It was kinda creepy, but she was impressed by Sam's skill.
"This is kinda disturbing," She stated, grinning up at her blond friend, "But I never knew you were so talented—"
"Hi, guys," Tina suddenly greeted from the doorway. The trio turned to face her, all of them waving.
"Hey, Tina."
"Hey, Tina."
"Hey, Tina."
She offered a polite smile as each of the teens greeted her, "Did you hear the news? Mr. Shue is out with the flu this week."
"Hey, uh, just curious," Sam cut in, "Are you gonna go over to his house and straddle him while he's passed out . . and rub some ointment on chest?"
Tina deadpanned, crossing her arms, "That's was a phase."
Winona looked beyond confused, about to question it when Blaine leaned over to tell her that he'd explain later.
"Anyway, don't bother coming to Glee Club this week," Tina continued, "It's canceled."
"Uh, hello? I'm still a coach, and Finn's—" Winona brought up, only to be stopped mid sentence once again.
"You didn't hear? Finn quit coaching glee to go to college," Explained Sam. Winona didn't know how to react, settling for a blank expression and a feeble nod.
"Oh."
She couldn't help but feel like it was somehow her fault. If only she had sided with him a week prior. Maybe things would be different.
She was snapped out of her guilty thoughts when Blaine met out a sigh, "So we really just aren't gonna have glee club this week?"
Sam's gaze fell to Winona, and he quirked a grin, "Not necessarily."

"So, you want me to coach the glee club by myself this week? Are you crazy?" Winona said to Sam, hands on her hips, "Theres no way I can do that — I'm too nervous."
Blaine grinned, wrapping his arm around the blond boys shoulder, "Don't worry, Winona. Sam and I will take care of everything, you just have to supervise us."
"So I don't have to do anything?"
"Not a thing," Sam replied. The pair smiled eagerly, awaiting approval from their friend. Winona's gaze shifted between the two boys,
"Hm . . " She pondered, before her thoughtful expression shifted to a small smile, "Alright, sure."
The boys celebrated, pulling Winona into an excited group hug before Blaine immediately rushed off to gather all the new directions and let them know that glee club wasn't cancelled that week. Then, Sam pulled away, looking down at his friend with a tinge of concern in his eyes, "You okay?"
"I just hope Finn's okay," She sighed, "I'm kinda mad at him, he's acting pretty childish — but so is Mr. Schue. Man, sometimes I feel like the only adult here."
Sam cracked a grin, "Well, how about we take your mind off it?"
"Uh, Sam," Winona paused, shaking her head, "I'm flattered but . . I'm with Finn and—"
"No, not that. I mean, why don't you participate in the assignment this week?"
Winona shrugged, "I don't really have a guilty pleasure—"
"Liar. I've seen your Avril Lavigne playlist."
She immediately shushed him, peering out the door to make sure no one heard, "Shh! That's embarrassing!"
"C'mon," He scoffed, "If you sing Girlfriend by Miss Lavigne for this week's assignment, I'll tell you my guilty pleasure."
Winona was a curious person at heart, and she'd be lying if she said she didn't wanna know what her friend secretly loved so dearly.
"You have yourself a deal, Sammy. Now, spill the beans."
Sam paused, ready to reveal his big secret. Winona leaned forwards in anticipation before he finally spoke, "I like Barry Manilow."
"What? That's it?"
She was almost 100% sure that wasn't his only guilty pleasure.
The other one that came to mind? Mr. Blaine Anderson.
"Yes! I just relate to his stories: The breakups, the lost love. Oh, and the rain, who shot who? It's like he's talking right to me," He explained in depth, making Winona scoff.
"Well, then why don't you . . come out and tell everyone?"
"No way, I can't—"
Clearly, he didn't get what she was hinting at, so she gave up on pointing out the gay undertones of the conversation.
"Sam, look," She started, only half interested in the conversation, "Once you stop hiding, you'll feel so much better."
"You really think I could just . . stand up in front of everybody and say that I'm a Fan-ilow?"
With a nod, she flashed a friendly smile, "One better, I know you can."
Winona swore she had never seen Sam seem so excited or proud before, as he perked up and immediately rambled about some random song. Copacabana?
At ease, she watched as he rushed out the room to both prep his performance, and introduce the assignment to the glee kids.

Winona sat in the auditorium with Brittany, Marley, Kitty, and Unique. Ever since the news came out that Kitty was obsessed with the Spice Girls, the women of the glee club were eager to share their love for the girl group with her.
I mean, come on. Who doesn't love the Spice Girls?
Marley and Unique practically dragged Winona there, seeing how out of it she was that week. She appreciated their efforts, but she was so distracted by the Schue/Finn/Emma situation that she was hardly listening. It wasn't until Brittany snapped her fingers in front of Winona's face to get her attention.
"Winonaaaaa," She said in the worst posh accent anyone had ever heard, "Don't you agree that it's racist for Unique to be Scary Spice just because she's black?"
The slightly offended glare Unique was sending Brittany was almost deadly. Winona merely shrugged.
"I really don't think that's—"
Before she could finish, Tina walked in, looking pretty upset about something, "Sorry I'm late, guys."
"Tina! You can be the Scary Spice," Announced Brittany confidently.
" The black one? That doesn't make any sense."
Unique nodded, "That's what I said."
"Oh, my God, guys, you will not believe what just happened," The girl said suddenly, "It's so horrible, I'm not even sure I can repeat it."
Assuming that she was being dramatic as usual, Winona couldn't help but downplay it, "What is it now, Tina?"
"Jake is singing a Chris Brown song for the assignment."
Every girl gasped in horror, and Marley immediately stormed out to have a chat with him. Winona followed anxiously, and both of them took the same fast and pissed off strides.
"Hey! Tell me it's not true!" Called Marley, looking to Jake as she saw him at his locker, "Tell me you're not planning to sing a Chris Brown song."
The boy couldn't even stutter out an answer before the rest of the girls showed up behind Marley with displeased expressions.
Winona narrowed her eyes, her arms crossed, "Choir room. Now."
"I don't understand what you're all so upset about," He claimed, his backpack strap slung over his shoulder as the girls sent him to the choir room..
"That's why it's upsetting."
"Look, look, I get that Chris Brown is a douchebag—"
"I don't think that douche is a strong enough word to describe Chris Brown," Unique cut him off.
"He brutally beat up his girlfriend!" Hissed Tina.
Brittany jumped in too, "He beat up a window at Good Morning America!"
"And says horribly misogynistic things on Twitter!" Added Winona.
"What about the Frank Ocean fight in the parking lot?" Kitty cut in.
"But mostly, he beat up his girlfriend, Rihanna, and then he got a picture of a battered woman tattooed on his neck; the dude is psychopath!"
"I know, listen," He began softly, in an attempt to justify himself, "I know, and that is why I chose his song, okay? The assignment was guilty pleasures. I like his music, and I feel guilty about it."
"You like his music?" Winona cocked a brow.
"Some of it, yeah. I mean, I don't think all of it's bad. It doesn't mean that I like him, and it doesn't mean that I think that he's a role model."
The girls had about enough of his poor justification.
"We do Whitney Houston songs, okay? Britney Spears songs, and none of them are any role models."
Brittany's face twisted into one of disgust, "You shut your mouth!"
"And what about Rihanna?" He continued, "Do we really think that bad girl RiRi is some kind of a role model? I mean, she's the one who got back together with him—"
"You did not just blame a victim of abuse for being abused," Winona said through grit teeth.
"Are you kidding me, Jake?"
"Yes, seriously, we always do Rihanna songs, and do we always agree with everything that she says and does? Are we saying that it's okay to go back to somebody that abuses you? No, we're not. Look, all I am saying is that I think that we should be able to separate the art from the artist."
"Don't you see how ignorant it is to separate a singer from their music and still listen to them?" Winona explained as harshly as she could, "By buying his album on itunes, or watching his new music video on youtube you are giving an abuser money!"
Marley stepped forwards, "And, I don't think you should seperate it, and personally, I can't listen to his music without thinking about the horrible person behind it."
"I agree, and if there was a list of people's music that we should never do in this room, Chris Brown would be at the top of that list," Tina said, before she and Marley walked out the door.
Brittany them stepped towards him, "And unfortunately, we live in a democracy, so we can't force you to do anything."
"We just really think you should think about it," Added Unique, before she and Winona left the took as well, leaving Jake to ponder about his song choice for this week.

Blaine sat at a piano on the stage of the auditorium, as the rest of the glee club watched from the uncomfortable seats for the crowd. Winona and Sam sat together, and as Blaine sang the romantic, yet kinda sad song, her gaze couldn't stop shifting between them.
Her suspicions about Blaine's crush on Sam was practically confirmed when she saw the way he was looking at the blond in the audience.
"So, who was that about exactly, Blaine?" Questioned Tina knowingly once he finished, and everyone was standing up to clap.
"Uh, it was about Kurt, obviously," Blaine sputtered out, slowly and awkwardly scratching the back of his neck, "That breakup's still a fresh wound. But it's really about the musical genius of Phil Collins, and like any musician of his time, when you dominate that period with such success, people tend to make fun of you and put them down, but the truth is he's a musical legend, and I'm tired of people making fun of him."
"Wow," Winona muttered almost silently, leaning over to Sam, "He's absolutely whipped for you."
"I am no longer in the closet about my love for Phil Collins," Blaine finalized, before Winona caught everyone's attention.
"Cool! Everyone give it up again for Mr. Blaine Anderson!"

Blaine and Sam stood in the auditorium, discussing how great their week was, and where to go from there.
"If we always indulged ourselves in our guilty pleasures, I think we'd make a lot of people pretty uncomfortable," He said, running has hands through his gelled hair like Danny Zuko. Sam merely shrugged in response.
"You don't have to be uncomfortable," He eased, only receiving awkward silence in return — which he was itching to break, "Dude, it's okay. I-I get it. Your guilty pleasure is me."
Blaine nervously raised his brows — was his crush that obvious? "Um, I—"
"I mean, Winona knew first, but it's not that discreet. And you know, frankly, I'm an attractive
guy, and you are into dudes," Sam eased, smiling kindly, "and if you weren't into me, I'd probably be pretty offended."
"You're . . not freaked out? Because I don't want
to jeopardize our friendship. I'm proud that the gay guy can be friends with the straight guy."
"Well, about that—"
"What?" Questioned Blaine, looking at Sam quizzically.
"Y'know, maybe I'm into everything, I dunno," He answered with a shrug, "And I'd be lying if I said I kinda like you back. But, I'm not over Mercedes and you should be with Kurt."
"In one breath, you just told me you're questioning your sexuality, you still like Mercedes, and I still like Kurt," Blaine repeated the whole thing, "You're not mad, then? Because I don't want anything to be awkward because of this."
"Nothing's gonna change, okay? I trust you, and you know, to tell you the truth, the attention feels kind of good. It-It's flattering."
After deciding to hug it out, they wrapped their arms around each other with bright smiles. Though, after a second or so, Sam paused.
"Dude, uh, please tell me that that is a pack of Life Savers in your pocket."
Blaine pulled away, looking down, before his gaze casted back to Sam, "Oh, yeah, no— they're breath mints. Do you want one?"
Slowly, Sam nodded and smiled in relief, before nodding, "Sure, thanks."
They headed for the exit, grinning with their arms around each others shoulders.
"Let's go lead one more class. I have a song that everyone's gonna love."
