Michael pulls up into our driveway. He glances over at me as a bunch of fans call his name from outside the Neverland gate.

Every once in a while a bunch of fans pile up at Neverland. At times, Michael goes out there and meets them all and invites them all inside our home.. That is if there is only a few, which is rare.

I frown. "Don't let them know yet, baby. Give Adjo some time to be at home first." I quietly tell Michael.

Michael nods as we all get out of the car.

A camera flashes suddenly.

Michael's head snaps up. "What the-"

"Michael! Hey, who's the boy?" A man says, holding his camera up as he takes another picture.

Dammit, just when we thought we got away!

How the hell did he even get through the gates? Who let him in?

Michael's eyes widen, "Oh my gosh.." He mumbles.

I frown, taking Adjo's hand.

"Mia, you and Adjo go inside. I'll be in there soon.." He softly says.

I nod, guiding Adjo towards our front door.

 "Come on, baby. Let's go meet your sisters." I weakly smile, opening the door.

Elizabeth gasps as she smiles widely. "Oh, is this little Adjo? He's so adorable!" Elizabeth claps her hands together.

My eyes widen. Forgot about her wedding..

"Adjo, this is our good friend, Elizabeth Taylor." I smile.

"She just got married here, so her party is still going on.." I explain.

Adjo stares up at Elizabeth with blank eyes.

Elizabeth leans forward. "It's nice to meet you finally." She grins.

Adjo bites his lip shyly.

I glance at Elizabeth, leaning closer to her ear. "He's kind of had a rough day.." I whisper.

Liz nods, straightening up. She winks at me, "I'm going to get back to my husband. We shouldn't be staying for much longer, dear. We're just cleaning up our mess." She explains.

I gasp, "Liz, you don't need to clean up here! Goodness, it's your wedding day! Go on, you two have some fun!" I smirk.

Elizabeth blushes, "Are you sure, darling? We really wouldn't mi-"

"Yes, Liz." I sternly say.

Elizabeth smirks at me.

"Go on. Michael and the rest of us will clean it later. Go on." I smile.

Larry holds onto Elizabeth's hand. "Oh well... Alright." She softly says, smiling at me.

"Goodbye you two." She sweetly says.

I smile, "Congratulations to you both again." I say.

Larry and Liz smile at me, "Thank you." She says.

I look down at Adjo. "Now let's go meet your sisters." I smirk, guiding him down the hall.

We approach Rose's bedroom.

I softly knock on the door with my free hand. "April? Rose? It's mama, I've got a surprise for you both." I say, slowly opening the door.

Adjo's eyes widen as he stops in his tracks.

I let go of his hand, "It's okay, sweetheart." I coo, looking at him.

Adjo bites his lip. Poor boy.. I'm sure he just wants to be by himself right now. I just think it's best if he meets the girls first.

Rose groans, slowly opening her eyes.

I smile widely, waiting for her reaction.

She squints her eyes, sleepily looking at me.

"Guess who's here, Rosie.." I quietly say.

Adjo holds onto his own hand as he steps forward.

Rose's eyes slowly grow wider. She gasps, sitting up straight. "ADJO!" She jumps out of bed.

I grin, watching Rose hug onto Adjo tightly.

Adjo cracks a smile as he hugs Rose back.

Michael wasn't joking when he said they were close. So cute.

I glance over at April. April slowly sits up, rubbing her eyes.

I smile. Oh, look at those messy curls! All over the place! She sure has Michael's curls while Rose has mine.

April furrows her eyebrows as she sleepily glances at everyone.

I walk closer to her, sitting beside her on Rose's bed.

"Baby, this is your brother, Adjo." I gently tell her, pointing at Adjo.

April looks up at me, confused.

"Adjo is going to be living with us for now on, okay? He's a very kind boy. He's your brother." I repeat.

April smirks, jumping off the bed.

I watch her waddle towards Rose and Adjo's hug.

April looks at them both, suddenly giving them both a hug.

I grin. Look at my family.. My children all hugging together. This is a real precious moment.

Michael peaks over the wall, glancing at me and the children.

He then walks in the bedroom, smiling widely.

Michael walks towards me, sitting beside me.

"Look at our children, Michael." I smile, resting my head on his shoulder.

Michael smiles widely, "They are all beautiful.." He softly says.

"They just won't let each other go." I softly say.

Michael holds onto my hand. "There is nothing more powerful than love." He says.

I smirk, looking up at him. "I love you, Michael." I softly say.

Michael smirks, "I love you t-"

"No, Michael.. I really love you." I sternly say.

Michael furrows his eyebrows, "I-I love you too, Mia." He quietly says back.

I crack a smile, leaning up as I kiss his lips.

"Elizabeth and Larry went off." I say.

Michael smirks, "I know, did you kick them out?" He jokingly says.

I chuckle, "No! They wanted to clean up and I told them no in the nicest way possible!" I smirk.

Michael chuckles, "Whatever you say.." He mumbles, smiling.

I blush, "It's true, babe!" I say.

Michael smiles, kissing my lips again. "Whatever you say, baby." He repeats, trying to wink at me.

I smirk. "It's cute that you can't wink." I blurt.

Michael scoffs, "I certainly can wink!" He says.

"Really? Prove it." I cross my arms.

Michael bites his lip, glancing around. "Um.."

He stares at me, closing his right eye and just about closed his left eye.

I raise an eyebrow, "Oh, wow.. You can wink." I sarcastically say.

Michael smirks, "Shut up, as if you could do better." He says, gently pushing me.

I smirk, "Watch me." I say.

I wink at Michael.

Michael licks his lips, leaning closer to me. "That was quite sexy.." He mumbles in my ear.

I shiver to tone of his voice. "Really?" I giggle.

Michael smiles, kissing my cheek. "You should do that more often." He says.

I start to laugh more at his sentence.

Michael smirks, "What?" He grins cheekily.

I smile, "Nothin', babe." I giggle, wrapping my arms around him.

"Nothin'" I repeat.

Michael smiles.

I glance over at the kids.

They are finally letting each other go. That was a really long hug, jeez.

Rose grins at Adjo, lifting her elephant up.

My eyes widen as I slowly let go of Michael.

"Adjo, I named my elephant Afia." Rose shyly says, lifting Afia up.

Adjo's eyes widen as he wipes his tears away.

He sniffles, "R-Really?" He shakes, holding his hand up.

Rose grins, "Yeah!" She says.

"You can hold her." Rose softly says, handing Afia towards Adjo.

Adjo bites his lip, gently taking Afia.

Adjo stares at the elephant with huge eyes.

Adjo suddenly hugs onto the elephant tightly, a few more tears escape his eyes.

I frown, "Michael, look." I whisper to him.

Michael looks over at the children. He weakly smiles, staring at Adjo hugging Afia.

Rose smiles at Adjo. "You can keep her if you want." She softly says, touching his back.

Adjo glances over at Rose. "A-Are you sure?" He shyly asks.

Rose blushes, "Yeah." She giggles.

"I'm sure."

I crack a smile, gently resting my head on Michael's shoulder.

She's going to be a good kid when she grows up.. Her heart just glows.

Adjo smirks, hugging onto Rose again. "Thank you." He whispers.

Rose smiles, gently letting him go. "You're welcome." She squeaks.

Rose leans up on her tip-toes, kissing Adjo's cheek.

"You're my brother." She grins at him.

I softly gasp, "Oh, Michael.." I whisper, starting to cry.

Michael smiles at me, holding onto me tightly.

He gently rubs my arm. "I know, baby. I know." He chuckles.

Adjo smiles, looking over at Michael and I.

I straighten up, staring at him.

"Thank you." Adjo says, gratefully.

"Thank you so much." He repeats.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Adjo sits in the middle of Michael and I.
Michael and I hold onto Adjo tightly, smiling as we watch the television.
I lean closer to Adjo, pointing at the screen. "See the ball there? It's gonna drop once it reaches midnight." I explain.
Adjo grins, "Wow.." He softly says in awe.
"All those people just wait around for it too?" He looks at Michael and I.
Michael chuckles, "Yeah, it's pretty crazy. I tried to go once but with my career I can't do any of that." He weakly smiles.
Adjo frowns, "Michael, won't you ever be able to do those things?" He looks up at Michael.
Michael softly sighs, looking down at Adjo. "I really don't know, Adjo.. It's not the most important thing to me but it would be nice, you know. Just once in my lifetime." He mumbles the last part.
Adjo frowns, glancing at the ground. "I could go there for you one day. I can do that for you." He sadly says.
Michael grins at Adjo. "You'd really do that for me?" He asks.
Adjo smiles, looking back up at Michael. "Of course! You'd be there too." He says.
Michael raises an eyebrow, "Really? I would now?" He smirks.
Adjo nods, "Yeah." He grins.
"And where exactly would I be to watch?" Michael smiles as he becomes more curious.
"Well.." Adjo shyly looks at Michael.
"You'd be there in my heart and seeing through my eyes, o-of course.." He shyly says.
I crack a smile.
"Oh, Adjo look!" I exclaim, pointing at the television.
Adjo's head snaps towards the TV.
Michael and I hold onto his hands, smiling widely.
"Five...." Michael and I start counting down.
"Four...."
"Three..."
Adjo joins us. I grin. "Two..."
"One...."
"HAPPY NEW YEAR!" Michael and I scream loudly, throwing our arms in the air.
Adjo smiles widely at us as he starts laughing.
"Oh Michael, we should be more quiet." I say, remembering the girls are asleep.
Michael smirks, letting out a chuckle.
Adjo smiles up at Michael and I.
He leans up, kissing my cheek.
I blush, kissing his forehead.
Adjo has been very shy since he arrived here in America. He hasn't said much but I'm not expecting him to. He just lost his sister. He's now has to get used to two new sisters, a huge home, Michael's career, my career that I am starting again in a few weeks. All Michael and I can do is be there for him when he needs to cry. The only thing we're worried about is giving our children a normal childhood. To me, that seems impossible.
I don't expect Adjo to call my or Michael mom and dad. It'd be nice in the future but no matter what, I'm going to love him like he's my blood. Michael loves all children equally. He's defiantly proven that with me with my baby-girl Rose.
Besides, Michael and I don't exactly know what a "normal" childhood is because we didn't exactly have a childhood ourselves. We're just going to have to try the best we can. Michael's an amazing father. He'll be there and love them unconditionally. As for me, I won't be there all their lives. Michael won't either but with my illness, my time is more short. I'm not taking any of these days for granted.
I just can't believe I've made it to 1992.. Damn.. I never would've thought that I would last this long.
I have now been HIV positive for four years... In four years I had two girls, got married and now have a boy in my family.. It may not sound like much but it's enough for me. Four years ago, I lost my baby boy, Michael.. Four years ago I was still under Kevin's control. I can't believe it. In just four short years, I've become a stronger woman. I've become a fighter.
I'm no longer a child.. I'm only now realizing that I've been acting like one all these years.
I'm thirty-three.. Just wow... I'm no longer seventeen.
Michael pouts at me, "Where's my kiss?" He says.
I smirk, quickly kneeling in front of Michael.
Michael grins at me.
I lean up and kiss his lips. "Happy New Years, baby." I smile, caressing his face.
Michael touches my hand with his cold hands. "Happy New Years to you too." He grins.
Adjo awkwardly sits there, grinning at us.
I blush, glancing over at him.
I scoot myself in front of him, pulling him in for a hug. "Happy New Years to you too, honey." I grin, kissing his cheek.
Adjo hugs me back tightly, "Happy New Years, M-Mia." He shakes.
I grin. He's so shy, it's adorable.
"Adjo, I wanna ask you somethin'" I grin, holding onto his hands.
He stares down at me with shiny eyes.
"What do you think about going to school? You know, get an education." I smirk.
Adjo gasps, "What? R-Really? Are you sure?" He breathes.
I smile, "Of course, Adjo! You're our son.. We want what's best for you, baby." I softly say.
Adjo bites his lip, glancing up at Michael.
Michael smiles widely at him.
Adjo looks back at me, "I-I'd love that!" He exclaims excitingly.
I smile widely, "We'll try and get you into a school at the end of the month, alright? Does that sound alright to you?" I ask him.
Adjo nods quickly.
I chuckle, gently letting go of him.
I sit beside him. "Sweetheart, I think you should go to bed. I know it might be hard to fall asleep after news like that but try to, alright?" I smile.
Adjo smiles widely at me, hugging me tightly. "Alright." He squeaks.
Adjo gets up from the couch, sliding towards Michael as he hugs him tightly.
Michael closes his eyes. "Goodnight, Adjo. Do you want us to tuck you in?" Michael asks.
Adjo lets him go, "No, thank you." He shyly says, turning around as he slowly walks down the hallway.
I grin, scooting next to Michael as we watch him suddenly skip down the hall.
I chuckle, "Oh, he's so happy, Michael." I smile proudly, laying my head on his chest.
Michael caresses my face. "What an amazing way to start nineteen ninety two.." Michael softly says.
I lift my head up, looking into his eyes. "You know, we have champagne in the kitchen.." I bite my lip, crawling my fingers up his chest.
Michael smirks at me, "Oh, really?" He grins.
I blush, "Yeah.. It's New Years, baby. We aren't going anywhere tomorrow.." I mumble, popping off a button on the top of his shirt.
Michael gasps, "I love this shirt, Mia!" He grins.
I smile, "We can always get you another one." I breathe, ripping his shirt off suddenly.
My lips smash against his as I run my fingers through his hair, messing with his curls.
Michael moans, holding onto my body.
Our foreheads gently touch as we breathe heavily. I look down, watching him gently take my jacket off of me.
I bite my lip, throwing my jacket on the ground next to his shirt.
My body begins slipping against his lap as we continue to kiss.
I stop kissing his lips.
Michael slowly bites on my neck.
I grin, "We're never going to make it to the ki-i-Oh!" I gasp.
Michael grins, leaning closer to my ear. "What was that, baby?" He smirks.
I blush, "Maybe the champagne can wait after." I breathe, pushing his body onto the couch.
Michael grins, pulling my warm body against his abs as he continues to kiss me.
What a way to start a new year, indeed..
