It was early, pretty early for my "mission". I got dressed and I walk into the kitchen. Yes, this is going to work. Levi will not go!
I quickly grab a piece of bread and put it in my mouth. I hear a door open and close. Damn! I woke someone up! I freeze with the bread in my mouth.
Staring at the hallway, waiting for someone to come out already. I see a small shadow and then Levi.
He rubbed his eyes and yawned. He was already dressed in uniform "Kusaki, why are you up so early?" He asks dully
Fuck.... He caught me. Mission abort. I sigh and take the bread out of my mouth "I-I.... I was trying to do something" I say in disappointment.
"Oh, Kusaki listen-..... I know you don't want me to go but.... I have to"
"Why do you have to? Do you think I'm ok with you just leaving and never coming back? I still can't get over Farlan and Isabelle" I say sadly
"I know, I just need to go...."
"No you don't, Erwin said it's optional"
"Kusaki, I have to go because...."
We paused for a while and I waited for him to answer as he was looking down. We stood there in silence. He didn't need to go, he didn't need to. So why would he.
"I can't get over Farlan's and Isabelle's death.... I need closure.... I told Erwin that I didn't want your squad to go... I said just him... I was the one who told him for you to stay" he said
I see him walk up to me and I bring my hand up to hit him. I feel a pull bring it down. Levi.... I hated when he did this.
"Damn you" I cry with tears flowing dow
Levi brings my hands down and hold it softly. I smell his detergent smell and I feel the warmness.
The warmness on my lips. His lips touching mine. Soft and warm lips. Not wet at all, yet not dry... It was perfect.
I open my eyes real quick and see him closing his eyes. I noticed he got into the moment as I did too.
He let's go and looks at me "I'll see you Kusaki.... I promise..." He says patting my head and then giving me a big hug.
I stay there speechless and wide eyes. To me he was pretty tall and I felt him hug me. I can tell he wasn't just doing this so I can shut up. He knew I felt wrong about this but for some reason he just had to kiss me.
I've been having a feeling for Levi but I just never spoke about it.
"I guess your my official girlfriend" he smirked "I promise I'll come back" he said, letting go of my hand and leaving the barrack.
I touched my face in amazement.
I can't believe he kissed me.

"Let's go people! Hurry and nip it!" I shout at my cadets. After this weird morning and Levi leaving beyond the walls, we just went straight into training.
I found out that my squad wasn't bad at all. Levi just said that so he can go alone. Wouldn't have to worry about others at all, which I kinda understand.
I finish the course and hit the floor first. I watch as Lealy, Jarek, and Alissa come in "Yes! That was perfect! We were faster and everything!" Alissa shouted
"Yeah, next time you need to be more stronger on your nips. Their not shallow enough" Lealy says dully
"I think we did pretty good" Jarek smiled looking at Alissa. Alissa smiled and looked at Jarek.
Yup, there gonna get married someday. I smile and put my swords in the maneuver "We did great, it's alright that we didn't go to this expedition. The next one we will show them off"
I chuckle into the thought. Alissa was so much like Isabelle, Jarek was like Farlan, and Lealy was like Levi. How funny.
I watched them as they laughed and smiled. I smiled into seeing them being happy. At least they weren't forced to get into corps, like us.
After the training and work was done, we finally eat in the afternoon. I was walking beside Alissa as she was making a joke "And how about you, Captain? I know you have something for Levi and Levi has something for you" she smiles
I wave my hands in nervousness "Oh, no-no, nothing between me and Levi"
"Then why does he always say 'she's mine not yours' or 'don't touch her or I'll kill you'" Alissa says mocking Levi's voice.
I laugh into the voice she made, so dull but yet demanding. I look down and smile faintly "We grew up together, literally. That's why it seems that we are so close" I say.
"You sure do smile a lot" Lealy says dully ".....Talking about him...."
I look at her "I guess I do" I shrug. We meet up at the cafeteria and I can already hear people talking.
We walk in and everyone stares for a while, then goes back into eating. Not a lot of people were there. Maybe only 70 people. Usually it was more.
I knew by the time the soldiers come back it wouldn't be 200 soldiers like we usually have. It's always after expedition we loose about 100 or more soldiers.
Meaning, we have to get assigned and get more cadets and crap like that. Made me feel slightly pity but after seeing so many deaths of people, I gave up on feeling bad or sad.
Isabelle and Farlan were the biggest punch I got. That's what knocked me down emotionally. I got right back up but with a big scar that will always be remembered.
"Hey, Captain are you ok?" Jarek asked. I knocked out of thinking, not even noticing what I was doing. By then I see food on the table and them sitting around me.
"Oh, yes I'm fine" I say, grabbing the loaf of bread and tearing it in half. I took a little bite and stared off into space.
"I hope Levi comes back" Jarek says
"He will.... I promise" I say optimistically, taking Levi's words "They should be back tomorrow"
"Oh good..." Alissa smiles "You know what I can't wait for?" Alissa says brightly "Visiting my grandparents!"
"You have grandparents and not your parents?" Lealy asks rudely
I look at her with the eye expression of saying "Shut the hell up" but Alissa smiles "It's ok, my mom died when I was born and my father died because he got sick. I still have good memories with him" she smiles
We all pause and stare at her in sadness, while she was smiling. I brake the silence and open my mouth "Well, I'm happy your visiting them...."
I drink my water "When's the visiting thing again?" I ask
"Next week" Jarek says gladly
"I'm happy that you guys are excited" I smiled
"You don't have family?" Alissa asked
I nodded my head "No my parents died when I was young and all I had was Levi. I told you we grew up together"
"I'm sorry, Captain" Alissa says
"It's alright, I know there proud of me now.... Anyways...." I look around for something
to talk about "I guess we go back to our barrack"

"Good night!" I shout to everyone as I rub the towel on my head. I just got out of the shower and I was walking to my room.
I hear my bare feet hit the wooden floor. I open my door and walk into the dark silence, the only light was the shining moon and stars.
I heard the crickets and wind blow lightly. These were the types of night that I liked. It made me smile and think about the memory....
////FLASHBACK////
"Where's Levi?" Farlan asks when we finally stop talking and joking. We look around the room and see just me and them.
Levi said something about killing because Isabelle came in crying. I knew he was gonna run off and so I let him. I know he needs his "cool down"
"Damn Levi keeps leaving in the middle of the conversations" Farlan sighs and stand up "Maybe the roof..."
I follow him up the roof "I never wanted to tell you this but I think Levi has a thing for stars.... I don't know... That's my source from my childhood" I chuckle
"Seems like it" Isabelle agrees
We open the door and see Levi sitting on the edge of the roof. His elbow laying on his left knee and his right knee hanging from the roof.
His head snapped to us "What do you want?" Levi asks dully
"Nothing, stop running off like that... Are you planning to really kill someone?" I ask
He gives a slight shrug and turns back froward "I was.... Until I notice how I would get caught"
"How?" Isabelle asked confusingly
"We'll get to loud. It wouldn't be so silent if I have you guys around"
I walk up to the edge and sit down "First thing is... I wouldn't let you kill anyone... Not now, not ever. So you need to stop your shit" I say seriously with a smile.
"Hey guys, I brought beer!" Isabelle laughs, holding up 4 bottles of beers.
We all grab one and drink it slowly. Isabelle was chugging it down half the time. We all looked up into the sky and smiled "Wow, I never knew how beautiful the star were" Farlan says
Isabelle smiles and looks up everywhere "I think they make me wonder so much...."
"I totally forgot we had stars. I never look into the skies" Levi says softly
"Big bro, do you think there are more cool things beyond the wall?" Isabelle playfully swinging her legs from the edge "I don't doubt it" Levi replies.
"Guys, promise me we will see more things beyond the wall! Like we can see these things called "oceans"" Isabelle smiles
"What's that?" I ask
"Oh, I read in a book that they are salt water that is around the world, cool huh?"
"Sound like bullshit but pretty cool" Farlan says, his back held by his hands.
We all stay there in silence looking at the stars
"Hey guys, promise me we will see more things...." Isabelle says softly.
We all look at her surprisingly "If I die tomorrow, at least have fun for me, ok? But if I don't let's make a deal to discover new things you'll never even expect within the walls"
I smiled and sighed "I promise"
"I promise" Levi and Farlan say in unison.
"Good!"

"I promise" I whisper under my breath, laying one my bed and looking at the moon and stars. Watching as it rains. I hope Levi made it threw while it was raining.
"Good!" Isabelle's voice says happily, echoing threw my mind.
I gave a thumbs up and smiled at the ceiling "I'll discover new things for you, Isabelle"
