England's P.O.V.
I look over to Francis flirting with one of the servers during the world meeting. Why does it hurt so much? Is it because I'm annoyed he isn't paying attention and adding to the noise? Or is it something else?
Francis glances towards me and I quickly look down to my work, blushing. Maybe I don't like his flirting with others for some reason But what? I hate that French bastard.

I jump and look towards my right where Alfred stands looking at me curiously.

We walk out of the building and head for a restaurant, with Francis' hand on my waist. We sit in one of the booths and order our food. While waiting it get really quiet and I begin to panic.
"Hey Arthur why don't we flip a coin? 'eads your mine, tails I'm yours." He whispers
"Stop it with your bloody pick up lines!" I exclaim
"What's wrong? Do zhey make you uncomfortable?" He asks me
I don't respond because our food comes. We quickly eat and as I reach for my wallet Francis pays the bill.
"I can't just let you do that!" I say
"You can repay me in other ways, besides I invited you out." He whispers
I look down blushing and France's places his finger under and thumb on my chin and makes me look him in his beautiful blue eyes. He smiles softly and I soften my hard eyes.
"Come on, let's go sight seeing mon petit lapin." He says as he clasps his hand in mine
He pulls me out of the cafe and we roam the streets of Rome looking at all of the beautiful sights. Of course Francis continues to tell horrible pick up lines but I'm beginning to hate it less and less.
Why do I feel so happy inside? It's like he takes away my feelings of anger and hate towards him and in their place fills me with, what is this? Love?
I stare at Francis' face, taking in his long bold hair and sapphire blue eyes. He turns to look at me and I quickly look away.
"Are you ok? You seem, on edge." He says holding my hand
"I'm just thinking about some things." I mutter
"Like what?" He questions
"Why is you always flirt with everyone?" I ask
"Because I am the country of love, It is my duty to spread love around." He explains
"So it doesn't mean anything?" I say looking away with tears in my eyes
"Of course it does, especially with you." Francis says quickly, placing his hand on my cheek and wiping away my tears
Before I can think I lean forward and press my lips against his. I don't know why but it just felt right. I pull back quickly and looking away.
"I-I'm sorry." I mumble and take a few steps back
I begin to walk away and when he calls out for me I run. I push though crowds and make it back to my hotel room before he has the chance to speak to me. I throw myself onto my bed and burst into tears as I realise I may have messed my my friendship with Francis.
There is a knock at the door and when I din answer I hear the door code being put in and the door opens.
"You don't need to cry mon petit lapin." Francis' voice states and I feel a hand on my back
I look up at him and he smiles softly.
"Why are you here?" I ask
"I can't just leave the man I love crying by 'imself." He says
I sit up and look at him in shock.
"You love me?" I ask
He nods and I quickly jump on him, pushing him onto the bed and pressing my lips to his. This time he kisses back straight away and I feel nothing but happiness, and a little excitement.
