"Come on, Corey!" I called happily to my boyfriend, Corey. We were running through the park and joking around with each other. He and I have been dating since the ninth grade and we are best friends, too. He's the best I could ask for.
I saw people in the park laughing as they watched us run around. We were playing tag, as childish as it sounded, but that was just us. Childish.
"Come here, (Y/N)! Right now!" He yelled back, laughing afterwards.
"No way, you're it!"
I was slowing down and before I knew it, I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"YOU'RE IT!" Corey screamed, running away.
After we finished playing tag, me and him decided to sit down on the bench and relax, both of us red faced and out of breath.
We cuddled up and watched the sun set.
"You wanna know something?" Corey said.
"Yes?"
"I love you with all of my heart, you silly girl."
I smiled. "I love you too, Haim."
