This is set after season 9, it's an AU where Harumi never stood on a falling building and instead escaped along with the family.
And yes Lloyd has a therapy dog, he might be mentioned in a few other one shots from now on.

The all too familiair sound of hammering and constructing rang through the streets of ninjago as the citizens and ninjas rebuild the city.
The Sons of Garmadon have finally been defeated and the citizens were busy rebuilding.
Not all the ninjas were rebuilding, Nya for instance was at the monastery, sharpening their weapons, as well as Red's, Lloyd's therapy dog.
He was a crossmix of a husky and K9, he is nine months old and can actually fight with his little doggy dagger or sword, he's very skilled already after three months of training.
He follows commands of any Ninja, he helps Lloyd vent or when he's having a panic attack or if he's just frustrated and restless.
Pixal was with Nya at the monastery, fixing Lloyd's car, Master Wu and Misako were keeping an eye out in the city, helping people find shelter and giving them food.
Cole and Zane were with Jay, helping the people repair the city, meanwhile Lloyd and Kai had the day off, or so they had thought.
There were still a lot of criminals out there, or they just get called in for a complaint around the city the police can't handle.
So it was no surprise when Lloyd got a call from the Commissioner, saying that he needed to come quickly.
But Lloyd had broken his car, well a criminal slashed the tires and damaged the wires and engine, also smashing the protective glass.
So he had to walk, and since it was an emergency, Kai had chosen to go with him.
Red walked besides Lloyd, Kai on the other side of the blonde, the pup pressed himself against his leg, watching his surroundings in a protective manner.
Lloyd chuckled at his puppy's antics and ran a hand through his soft fur "it's okay, Red, calm down." Red yapped at him, running around them before returning to his side.
"I know, I know. You worried about us. We'll be fine bud." Lloyd scratched him behind his ear.
"let's hurry up, since it's an emergency." Kai said, ruffling Lloyd's hair before running ahead.
Red ran after him, Lloyd followed them and pulled ahead. Red ran by his side.
Lloyd slowed down once they reached the police station, Kai pushed the door open and led them inside, there were no officers to be seen, all searching for SOG members or out on patrol.
Red walked up to the commissioners office, Lloyd knocked, slightly opening the door to peek his head in.
"uh, commissioner, you asked for us?" Lloyd said, opening the door wider to show his teammates.
"ah, yes!" the commissioner stopped pacing "we need to be quick, i didn't know what to do, it happened so quickly!" he pushed them aside to walk out "follow me!"
They followed him to his car, they got in and an unsettling silence spread over them.
"so, what happened?" Kai asked, breaking the silence "it's.. Better if you see for yourselves.."
They left it at that and settled into a awkward silence, Kai was on his phone, reporting to the others how the Commissioner was behaving.
Lloyd had Red in his lap, the pup knew he was confused and slightly frustrated at the answer that he got, so he did his job and calmed his owner down.
After a long, uncomfortable ride, they reached Kryptarium prison, the Warden met them at the entrance.
"thank goodness! Kai, Lloyd, Red you here!" Warden quickly opened the door to the prison "thank the FSM we had nurses around!"
Kai and Lloyd looked at each other, they were unsettled and worried.
The Warden and Commissioner brought them away from the cells, to their surprise, they were brought to one of the nurse rooms, or whatever they were called.
As they approached the door, they heard.. Crying?.. Lloyd and Kai looked at each other confused and slightly worried.
Red licked his hand, Lloyd smiled and rubbed his head "is that a baby crying?" he asked, the Warden and Commissioner looked at each other before pushing the door open.
Lloyd soundlessly gasped at the crying child in a nurse's arms, Kai rushed over and carefully took the baby.
"do you even know what you're doing Kai?" Lloyd asked approaching his brother and the infant.
"I raised Nya from when she was three years old, I know how to take care of a crying baby." Kai sighed, Red padded over and sniffed curiously but cautiously.
"oh yeah," Lloyd looked at the baby, something was familiar about that child.
"why did we have to come here for a infant?" Kai asked, finally getting the baby to stop crying.
"it's not just about the baby, it's about her mother." the Warder motioned to a bed in the corner, where a nurse was moving around behind the privacy curtains.
The nurse opened the curtain and Lloyd gasped, his eyes widening, Kai tightly held the child, trying not to drop her, altough he was careful not to hurt her with his tight grip.
"Harumi.." Lloyd approached the bed, her silky white hair was ruffled and knotted, she was asleep and she looked pale and tired.
"what have I done.." Lloyd mumbled under his breath, he knew very well that the infant was their child, their daughter.
Somehow, Kai still heard him "this.. This is your child?" he asked, dumbfounded.
Lloyd sighed "it was an accident.." he mumbled, glancing at his daughter in Kai's arms.
Lloyd was distressed, and Red was worried for his master. He tugged Lloyd down and laid accros his lap, licking his face to help him calm down.
Red nudged his hand onto his flank, Lloyd could feel how his pup was breathing.
Lloyd followed the rythme, deep breaths, Lloyd took deep breaths, like Red was doing.
Kai let them be, he knew he missed a lot when he and others were in a different realm, but did he really miss this much?
"we gave her some medicine and she became a bit droopy," the Warden explained "we were going to call you later today, but.. Lloyd."
Lloyd got up holding Red in his arms to comfort himself, the Warden and commissioner looked at each other "she said you're the father."
"it was an accident.. It was never supposed to happen!" he yelled frustrated, the infant started crying again from his yelling.
Lloyd put Red down and took her from Kai's arms, he gently held her like he saw Kai do, the child started to calm down, somehow knowing he was his father, and that he'd protect her.
She nuzzled into his arm, her tiny arms flailing around, Lloyd chuckled, that was definitely his daughter alright.
Lloyd heard a small groan coming from behind him, he turned around and saw Harumi slowly waking up.
He sat down on a chair next to her bed, slightly swaying the baby in his arms to get her to sleep.
"we'll leave you be." the Commissioner said, opening the door "Lloyd, is it okay to ask you to do a DNA test to make sure?" the Warden asked.
Lloyd nodded, and with that, the four of them were left in the room.
"Lloyd?.." Harumi glanced at the blonde next to her "it's me.." he nodded, her eyes left him and trailed to Kai.
The brunette looked rather calm, as if he somehow expected this to happen, altough he knew there was a chance it would happen, he certainly didn't expect it to be after Harumi betrayed them.
Harumi looked distressed and tenses up, Kai knew he was making her nervous and scared by accident.
"hey, Harumi, I'm not going to do anything, I just accompanied Lloyd and Red." he said, raising his arms to show he meant no harm.
She stayed tense, her gaze landing upon the two swords on his back, Kai chuckled nervously and stepped behind the other curtain.
He didn't want to startled or frighten her by unsheathing his swords in front of her, he placed his weapons onto a table before stepping back.
"see?" Kai smiled "I mean no harm." Harumi finally relaxed, until she glanced at him confused.
"who's Red?" she asked, Lloyd smiled besides her with a sleeping baby in his arms.
As if on cue, Red lifted his head onto the bed, his tail wagging and a small smile on his muzzle "I guess I got my answer." she chuckled.
She patted his head, he lifted his forelegs onto the bed, his ears were relaxed, a sign that he was happy and he meant no harm.
"he's my.. Therapy.. Dog." Lloyd explained, slightly embarrassed that he needed a therapy dog.
"he's adorable." Harumi told him, Lloyd grinned "he sure is." Kai agreed.
Harumi felt rather safe, she was tired, but that was understandable since she just gave birth.
Her beautiful daughter was in the safe hands of her father, Harumi knew they had made a mistake that night, but it couldn't be undone now.
"have you named her yet?" Kai asked, curiously while fixing Lloyd's hold on the infant "no, I haven't." Harumi shrugged.
"how about.. Lumi!" Kai suggested "Lumi Garmadon." they thought about it "she has part of your name," Kai said "and Lloyd's first letter of his name, and probably his last name too."
"Lumi, I like it." Lloyd said, Harumi nodded "what should her middle name be?" Kai asked, Lloyd had an idea, but only if Harumi agreed.
"how about.. Smith?" he suggested quietly, Kai stared at him "me and Nya's last name?"
"you two were like my big siblings, you treated me like family, like a little brother." Lloyd said.
"Lumi Smith Garmadon." Harumi said "I like it." Lloyd smiled "so it's agreed?" he asked, she nodded and Lloyd stared affectionately down at Lumi.
"uh, how do we know she even is your child, you guys may have done.. it.. But.." Kai questioned, Red barked at him.
"hey don't get fussy at me Red!" Kai exclaimed "it's a valid question!" the pup just rolled his eyes and climbed onto the bed and laid next to Harumi.
"I've only done it once, so," Harumi rolled her eyes "it's his." Kai rubbed the back of his neck "awh man, how am I going to tell Nya about this?"
"how about we do that later." Lloyd suggested "how about we just tell Master Wu and mom for now."
Harumi agreed, she definitely did not want a fussy and pissed Nya to deal with right now.
"should we call them to come over?" Lloyd asked "it would be awkward to send a text or call saying 'Lloyd and Harumi just had a child can you guys come over?' "
Harumi chuckled "that's definitely awkward." she agreed, Kai sighed "I'll just call them to come over."
"let me do it, I need to ask mom something anyway." Lloyd said, Kai nodded, the blonde passed Lumi to her mother before grabbing his phone and making his way outside.
The Warden was talking to a few guards before he spotted Lloyd, he approached the ninja.
"can we do the DNA test later today?" he asked, Lloyd nodded "pretty sure it's mine since she said so, but alright." Lloyd shrugged.
"we can talk tomorrow about what will happen, for now you can stay as long as you want." the Warden said "the Commissioner has been called in for an emergency so he has left for the day." he added.
"okay, mind if I call my Sensei and mother to come here?" Lloyd asked, the Warden nodded "go ahead, I will let my guards know to let them in.
Lloyd was left alone in the corridor, he grabbed his phone and called his mother, she picked up quickly.
"what had happened in Kryptarium?" she asked "uh before I tell you, how hard is it to raise a infant?" he said nervously.
"Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon, what happened?!" clearly Misako picked up on what he meant "can you and Master Wu, uh, come over to the prison?" he asked.
He heard a sigh come from the other end "fine, but if I find out you had a child with Harumi I'm going to kill you!"
Before Lloyd could even ask how she knew it was Harumi, she hung up. Lloyd gulped, how did his mother know he snuck out of the base one night and accidentally got drunk and did.. Y'know.. With Harumi?
Did she see him drinking and saw him getting approached by Harumi? Or were it just mother instincts that she noticed he snuck out and the only person he was ever interested in was Harumi?
He sighed and put his phone away before re-entering the room, he was met with the cutest sight of all.
Harumi held Lumi while her little hands were grasping onto Kai's fingers, babbling nonsense and cooing at the ninja.
Red was curled against Harumi, he has settled on the side of the bed with a wall and rested his head on Harumi's stomach, near the baby, while watching Lumi with curiosity and a sense of need to protect her.
Lloyd smiled at the sight and sat down on the chair he was previously sitting in.
"so, what did your mom say?" Harumi asked, Lloyd chuckled nervously "I might've.. Asked how hard it was to raise a child.. And I think she somehow knows it's ours and she's going to kill me once she arrives."
"how'd she know?" Harumi was surprised and slightly nervous "uh, mother instincts.. I guess? And she probably spotted me sneaking out." Lloyd rubbed the back of his neck.
"Kai, how are you so cool with this?" Lloyd couldn't help but ask his honorary brother who was playing with his niece.
He shrugged "I expected it at one point, during the time where she was with us on the Bounty," he said, not looking away from his niece.
"although I'm surprised it wasn't during that time, since I didn't hear it it didn't happen around then." he continued.
"so your not mad at me?.." Lloyd asked, fiddling with his fingers, he didn't want to make his brother mad or disappointed.
"I'm not entirely happy about it, but I'm not mad at you Lloyd, nor dissapointed. Sometimes things get the best of us, like our hormones, I completely understand." Lloyd smiled at the answer.
"we were both drunk, so I guess we didn't have control over it." Lloyd admitted, Kai looked away from his niece and smiled at his honorary little brother.
"infact, I'm actually pretty proud, you are the first one with a kid in the team, not to mention you were brave enough to do it, even with the alcohol." he added.
Lloyd smiled at the answer but the chuckled nervously as he saw his mother and sensei in the doorway.
Red stood up, standing over Harumi and the small baby, he was trained to protect, that's what his master always told him, and his instincts told him to protect the mother and daughter with all his might.
"so I was right." Misaki observed, a rather calm yet terrifying look in her eyes, Lloyd chuckled nervously "H-hey mom.."
Misako sighed "you know what, I'm not even mad, I've always wanted grandbabies, but did it really have to be with a villain?"
"uh, we both got kinda.. Intoxicated?.." he admitted.
"Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon, you did what?!"
He should've know his mother would be angry about the fact he had alcohol, after all, he was underaged, especially if you don't count the Tomorrow's Tea.
"I was tired of everything, okay?" Lloyd ran a hand through his hair "I just needed a break and then I found Harumi, we were both drunk, and.. I guess our hormones got the best of us."
Misako sighed "just never drink underaged again," she took a deep breath "now where's my grandchild?" her tone went from angry to happy so quick that Lloyd had to shake his head.
"wait, so I'm not grounded?" he asked surprised "of course not!" Misako exclaimed "I've always wanted a grandchild, I don't even care that Harumi's a villain, honestly!"
"and you'll have your hands full." Wu finally spoke "I'm disappointed that you impregnated someone at your young age, nephew, but I always wanted my pupils to have children so I'm not mad."
Lloyd sighed "I don't think Nya would be so happy.." he groaned, he was never going to be ready to face his pissed honorary big sister.
"especially not with his moodswings, now that's she's pregnant she has a lot of them." Kai added.
he had gotten an earful this morning when he said she shouldn't be sharpening their weapons, she was two months into the pregnancy, and she was very fussy.
She had insisted on doing so and Kai had decided to help her out by laying all of their weapons on a high table so she wouldn't have to bend down to pick them up.
Harumi had gone quiet after they entered, Misako smiled at her "may I hold her, Harumi?" she asked, Harumi nodded.
Misako glanced at Red, who's tail was stiff behind him and standing protectively over Lumi and Harumi.
Lloyd took notice of it, he smiled at his pups sense of needing to protect Harumi's and his daughter.
"Red, it's okay bud. She's not gonna harm them." he reached over to gently touch his shoulder, Red turned around, he licked his wrist and relaxed, laying down on top of Harumi's stomach and watching everyone closely.
Lloyd gave his seat to his mother and gave another chair to Wu while he and Kai sat on the edge of the bed.
"she's adorable, what's her name?" Misako asked, Harumi smiled "Lumi Smith Garmadon."
"Smith as middle name?" Misako glanced at the two brothers "I don't think there is a better choice."
Lloyd smiled, he was kinda disappointed in himself for getting a villain pregnant but he didn't regret it.
"I've contacted Zane, he will tell the others so they can freak out without anybody questioning you, or getting a fussy Nya on your hands." Master Wu said.
Lloyd nodded, he was worried about how his friends would react, they'd all probably be disappointed, and he couldn't blame them.
Harumi ran a hand through Red's fur, her mind somewhere else. Master Wu had noticed.
"Harumi, what is troubling your mind?" he asked, she was snapped out of her trance "I-it's nothing.." Lloyd looked at her worriedly.
"it's okay to tell us." he reassured "it's just-" she sighed "I'm afraid of what will happen to Lumi, what if she gets.. taken away from me.."
Lloyd frowned "I will never let them take away Lumi from you, they'll probably try, but nobody is going to touch you or Lumi on my watch."
Red barked, raising his head "I think he said 'you mean on our watch.'" Kai chuckled.
"but Red is right, nobody is touching you or Lumi on our watch, anybody who tries will face the wrath of the ninjas!" Kai said, Lumi watched them with interest before being passed to Kai.
"thank you all.. So much, I don't deserve this." Harumi blinked away tears, Lloyd took her hands into his own "it's the least i can do after helping release the Great Devourer and killing your parents."

It was midnight and Lumi and her mother were fast asleep, Lloyd was in the chair next to the bed, Lumi was sleeping in a small bed made for baby's next to him.
The glow of his screen illuminated his face, he had gotten a text from Kai saying that Nya was still pissed, the others were shocked and mad at first, but now they were actually kind of excited to see their niece, and Pixal and Zane apparently secretly build their own child that is called Minipix.
Red was laying on the bed, laying half on top of Harumi, her hand was stuck in his fur, she had fallen asleep while petting him.
his ears were pricked and sometimes flicked while he was awake and guarded Harumi, his blue-greenish eyes occasionally drifted to the sleeping infant.
Lloyd was on his phone, he had decided to stay with Harumi and Lumi for the night, Red didn't want to leave either, unless they went with them, but that was obviously not allowed.
Lloyd turned around as he heard a tired voice said his name, Harumi opened her eyes, glancing at the blonde.
"you're still here?" she asked, Lloyd smiled and nodded "go back to sleep Rumi, you'll need it for tomorrow."
Harumi yawned and drifted back to sleep. Lloyd smiled and brushed a piece of white hair off of her face.
Red looked at him with a look that said 'just admit your still in love.' Lloyd shook his head "oh don't give me that look."
After a few minutes, Lloyd checked up on his daughter, she slowly woke up, blinking while taking in her surroundings.
Lloyd saw her lip begin to quiver and he started panicking, Lumi started to cry and Lloyd wished Kai had stayed with him.
He started panicking even more when he realized Harumi might wake up, he took a deep breath and gently picked up his daughter.
"shh, it's okay sweetheart, daddy's here, and he'll always be." he softly said, baby Lumi stopped crying and started to babble and giggle.
Lloyd adjusted his hold on her and started swaying to get her back to sleep, after a few moments, she was back asleep.
"you'll be a good dad." Lloyd turned around, surprised to see Harumi awake "did she wake you up?" he asked, keeping his voice low so he wouldn't wake his daughter in his arms.
Harumi nodded and yawned "aren't you tired?" she asked, Lloyd felt the tiredness start to seep in after she asked, he yawned "a little bit."
She shuffled closer to the wall, Red weighted almost nothing so he easily slided with her, she patted the space next to her.
"Red will keep watch, you need sleep if you're going to take care of our daughter."
Lloyd nodded and carefully climbed in the bed, holding Lumi close to him before placing her between them, luckily the bed was pretty big, somewhat the size of a queen sized bed, only a bit smaller.
Red nestled his head on his masters legs and kept watch, he was trusted by Harumi to watch over them and protect them.
he would do everything he could to make them proud and protect their daughter, after all, he was trained to protect those who cannot protect themselves.
Lloyd drifted off to sleep quicker than he thought, Lumi was pressed against both of them, she still had enough space to move around though.
And morning came quicker than expected for the young couple.
