Chapter 22 - Catching
"Go." Jungkook pushed his boyfriend none too gently to the old friend, "Besides, I can see you at school."
"Really?"
"Yes."
"You're alright?" V says with a soft concerned voice.
"Yup, you haven't seen him for a long time." Jungkook fakes a smile and left. V wanted to walk his boyfriend home but J-Hope stopped him by holding unto his arm.
"Let's go?" J-Hope smiles at the orange haired man, "I wanted to walk with you. I guess you're not."
"That's not it!" V denied, "I do."
"I'm supposed to stay here in Seoul for just few weeks and I wasn't expecting to see you guys."
"I wasn't hoping to see you." V teased J-Hope, acting like he did not missed the older guy.
"Yah!"
"I was really surprised to see you, I'm glad to see you again." V smiled widely.
"Me too, Taehyungie."
"Yah!" V pinched J-Hope's arm hardly, "Stop calling me that."
"Oh, fine."
The two went for a walk around Seoul for few minutes before they felt their legs aching in tiredness, V waited for J-Hope to ride a bus first before leaving the elder male who is not so used in living in a populous city.
V cannot help not to smile thinking his old friend came back and unexpectedly meeting that friend once again. He once loved this person, but, nothing really progressed between them. They didn't became a couple, but their relationship were like an official couple. They were friends at first, close friends. Until, V felt something else for J-Hope in which he could not explain or understand. He consulted Jimin about what he feels and his bestfriend told him, "That's love, V."
He started acting awkward infront of J-Hope, his friend noticed it. This man could not hold on his feels when J-Hope is around. It might be weird to look at but V tried his best to get his feelings out. He never knew what would J-Hope feel if he confesses his feelings. Is it really love? He asks himself. A man like him with a young age would not understand love. J-Hope felt that V dislikes him as a friend, he misinterpreted.
It was good that V has a friend like Jimin, the small boy who would always help his hopeless friend. Jimin went to J-Hope to explain why V was acting that way, in an indirect way. He said that V feels something for J-Hope that is more than just a friend. J-Hope felt relieved hearing that, and secretly, he was feeling the same way too, but he doesn't have the courage to share it with Jimin.
J-Hope and V came back to the way they are after that, without having awkward moments, they chat and bond like nothing happened nor feelings hindering. The difference is that these two boys turn out much sweeter than before, like more than being friends.
By the time that he became ready to confess his feelings, he was very late to say it. A news broke out that V is leaving the school, he felt his world crashing into pieces. He felt more hurt knowing that V is leaving with Jimin, the two were leaving without even telling him, where is justice? He asked himself. If only he can go with the two as well, but, his parents wouldn't allow him. When will I confess? He asked himself, he should have done it beforehand. Before Jimin and V left the campus and transferring to another school that is far from him. Sadly, he was left behind by his two close friends.

The three men meets again after V and Jimin's school, they went to the meeting place that J-Hope texted them, but they weren't talking to each other, no one spoke until they reached the place. J-Hope excitedly waves a hand on them, "Taehyungie! Jiminie!"
"Ah, he's really embarrassing!" Irritated V says, Jimin glances at him and nodded with a smile.
"Let's act like we don't know him."
Jimin laughs, "Alright."
The two went to the opposite side from where J-Hope was standing, "Yah!" J-Hope runs to them and wraps his arms to the two guys acting like J-Hope is a stranger for them.
"I already bought movie tickets."
"Action movie?" Jimin and V asked in unison, and J-Hope smirks replying, "Romance."
"Ah, disgusting." Jimin said with his eyes closed, "Disgusting."
"I guess I'll be sleeping for the whole hour." V added while eyeing on J-Hope with an annoying expression.
"You guys are going to love this." J-Hope answered proudly, they went inside the theater. He was the only one excited for watching the movie, the two boys who were sitting beside him fell asleep right at the start until the end of the movie.
J-Hope wakes them up by slapping their cheeks, "That hurts!" V yelled at him, "I'm fully awake now." On the other side, Jimin was still sleeping innocently, the two decided to prank leaving the boy alone in the theater and hide somewhere else.
"You think Jimin's still alive?" J-Hope asks as they sit at a bench outside the movie theater.
"Yup, bad guys can't die with such a young age." V answered.
"He'll get mad at me, for sure."
"Me too."
"No, he never gets mad at you." J-Hope said, "He's treating me like his enemy."
Jimin came out and smacked the two boy's heads. He always pinched their ears while laughing loudly, "How dare you two!" He pulled J-Hope to stand, "You planned for this." He punched the boy lightly while cackling.
"Yah! Stop fighting like kids. Everyone is looking at you guys." V says while giggling in between those words.
After that long hilarious night with his friends, V makes a call with his boyfriend telling what they did for the night, he also apologized that he wasn't able to walk his boyfriend again.
The following day, V received a call from his old friend again through his mobile phone, J-Hope invites him to meet again although V replied that he isn't allowed to go out today, J-Hope insisted and said that he'll be waiting at the school's gate.
"J-Hope wants to meet me again." V told Jimin who was sitting next to him, "Are you going too?"
Jimin's eyes widen in surprise, "What? He didn't invited me."
"Huh? Really?" V asked with disbelief.
Jimin nodded.
V saw Jungkook waiting for him outside of their classroom as the teacher let them be dismissed, he saw his boyfriend peeking through the opened door. He smiled at his boyfriend as their eyes met, "Jungkook." He called for the boy's name.
"Let's go?"
"Yup." V answered.
The couple went out of the building giggling at each other about V's jokes. Jungkook stopped from laughing and pinched V's arm while looking at the person standing near the gate. V looked at the direction where Jungkook was staring at and saw who the person was, J-Hope.
V pulled Jungkook by the arm and continued walking without greeting his old friend, he was planning to ditch his friend and stay with his boyfriend.
"That's your friend." Jungkook looked back at V's friend who was probably still searching for V among the students going out of the building.
V holds on Jungkook's head and makes the boy face back, "I want to be with you."
"But he's waiting for you."
"Don't mind him."
J-Hope spotted Jimin at the crowd, he waves his hand to Jimin, "Jiminie!" and called. Jimin came running fast to him and covered his mouth, "I told you to not call me that."
"Where's Taehyungie?"
"He went out first than me." Jimin replied.
"Huh? I haven't seen him!"
Jimin looks around and saw the two love birds walking not that far from where they are standing, he thinks that this would be exciting scene if J-Hope disturbs the two. He pointed where the couple was, J-Hope thanked him in a quick and runs fast to catch up the two.
"Taehyungie!"
"Don't tell me." Taehyung murmured to himself as he slowly looks who called behind him.
"What's up!" J-Hope greeted the two, Jungkook nods in reply while V sighed deeply, "Can we just go out some other day?"
"Why? You're not allowed?" J-Hope asked.
"I just want to." V sounded pissed.
J-Hope pouted his lips, "That's sad, I came here waiting for you in hours."
"You don't have to do that."
"Yah!" J-Hope looked at Jungkook and politely asks, "Can't I borrow V just for today?"
Jungkook glared and faked a smile, he pushed Taehyung to J-Hope gently and whispers, "It's alright."
"But--"
"I'm going, you guys enjoy!" Jungkook forces a smile letting his boyfriend go out again with someone else. Although he smells something odd between the two, he still let them be with each other. He felt like he was giving up his boyfriend away, to think that V has been hanging out with others more than him these days.
Jimin smirked as he witnessed that Jungkook left the two, that's the time he decided to go home. He felt relieved that Jungkook and V are not together.
V and J-Hope takes a walk around and had window shopping for an hour, J-Hope kept on teasing V to wear girl's clothing every time they pass by a clothing apparel for women.
They take a break at one of the tea shop along the streets, it was quiet since they are the only customers inside. J-Hope ordered two milk teas for them and carried the tray placing it to where V was seated. J-Hope sits beside V and smiled, "I wish we could do this everyday."
"You'll just keep on annoying me."
"It's fun."
J-Hope put his arms around V's waist and leans forward to reach V's lips.
"J-Hope, stop." V pushed the elder male with his hands.
"Why?"
"What we were before is not the same anymore, I've forgotten what we had, I don't--"
"Really? I was your first love, you were my first as well."
"Sorry. I'm not in the mood for these things, J-Hope."
"Jimin told me that you are single and advised that it's the right time."
"Huh? Me and Jimin are not in a good situation." V inhales deeply, "So now he's inventing stories."
"But, V, I'm hoping that there's still a chance between us." J-Hope tried to touch V's hand but V closes his hands into fist.
"J-Hope, I have a boyfriend."
"Have you forgotten our first--"
