All the shadow monsters started moving.
Every step they took, the ground trembled and the earth felt like it would shatter. No matter where one looked, a sea of shadow monsters will be the things they could see.
"The forces heading towards Taron will invade now, right?" Ciaran asked him and Pier nodded his head.
They were floating in the sky.
Their clothes fluttered across the cold winds and their hair swayed back as it was pushed by the breeze.
"That is correct," Pier responded with a small smile on his face.
Ahead of them was the Cresencia Empire, the place he had spent a few days prior to the war happening right now. It was vast and almost unending if seen from their perspective. It was because Cresencia fills in almost one-eighth of the entire eastern continent's landmass.
They were currently at the borders and it would probably take them days before they can reach the palace which was located in the center of the empire.
"Taron would be invaded right now and it would take them at least two days before they can reach the palace where the king and the other royals are held captive. The duke cannot move outside yet because of the king's other forces outside guarding the palace."
It would be a destructive move right now for Duke Callisto along with his knights to come out of the conference room. Whoever comes into the place would instantly be silenced as to keep the news of the King's capture.
"They will wait for their forces to enter Taron before they can fully come out and reveal themselves."
"I see." Ciaran hummed as he observed the white-haired king.
Pier's smile did not disappear even after knowing two people have already died inside the conference room.
"Besides, I have stationed a few individuals to restrain the fall of Taron's walls even for only a few hours." They both nodded their heads since Ciaran also knew what Pier did.
He had everything laid out in his palms like a map or directory of what he should and shouldn't do.
"Fluffy's fine, right?" The young king asked out of nowhere and Ciaran nodded his head.
"A mere sword from a human cannot kill the fairy." He reassured and Pier's smile widened even more.
He liked the small fairy because it had many uses.
"Too bad he cannot transform into the king again." That made Ciaran quiet.
"... Ciaran?"
"The fairy can."
"Oh...." Pier was astonished.
Fluffy was not just Fluffy for no reason, after all.

"Woosh! Woosh! Hahaha!" One small creature from the mountain of enemies approaching Taron's walls laughed and its small voice echoed amidst the noisy group.
"I will bring their walls down with my vines! I will uproot their houses with my roots! The forests will punish them!" It squealed in excitement and the knights and mages accompanying the small creature nodded their heads.
"Bring them down, Goddess Fairy!" They exclaimed and the small fairy that had green wings did a stunt in the air. Small dust particles were produced from its wings and fell directly into the body of the people from Cresencia.
"YES! YES! THE GODDESS FAIRY WILL BRING THEM DOWN! HAHAHA!" It laughed again and they all joined the fairy in a burst of hysterical laughter.
Their win was sure. Having been notified of the king's capture, all they needed to do was destroy Taron's walls, houses, and everything in their paths before they can reach the capital where the palace is also located.
"Goddess Fairy, you are the best!" The general of the battalion it was included in praised the fairy again and she giggled in excitement.
"That's right! I am the best!" She squealed and did another stunt in the air. The fairy was, to say the least, dazzling.
They were confident with winning because of this creature right here.
She was one of Cresencia's hidden cards against any circumstances and she was finally revealed to the world.
Fairies are just like any other mythical creatures.
They are extremely hard to find and are unsociable with humans. Their powers are extreme and sometimes, they can do miraculous wonders that humans could never rival.
This fairy right here has the power of plants.
"I will destroy them all! Hahaha!" She raised her hands and a minuscule of her fairy dust landed on the ground. In an instant, giant trees sprouted from the earth and they grew rapidly until it was enough to bear fruits.
"Vines! Vines! Vines!" She screamed and cast more of her fairy dust in the surroundings.
Suddenly, giant vines sprouted from the ground and acted like multiple whips for the forest fairy.
They are marching towards the eastern walls of Taron and their excitement cannot be contained by any means.
"I WILL GO AHEAD! YOU GUYS FOLLOW ME!" The forest fairy screamed and they saluted at her words.
Using the giant vines appearing on the ground, the fairy attached each of her small legs to each vine and started to walk with giant steps to the eastern wall.

"Hmmm..." King Caldor, no, Fluffy stood on the eastern walls alone.
The knights and mages guarding the eastern walls were hiding behind the structure, afraid for their lives.
"Humans are truly pathetic." He had a stern look on his face as he observed the humans below cowering in fear.
"Except for my master, that is. The remaining of you are useless things." He scoffed before viewing the horizon once more.
In the far distance, he could see a giant creature moving at an incredibly fast rate towards them.
"A living fairy." He breathed and his heart started pounding in anticipation.
It was the first time he would be seeing another of his kind and that gave him an indescribable excitement too.
The fairy using giant vines far ahead was quickly approaching them and that made Fluffy shiver in anticipation.
Heartbeats.
Shivers.
Excitement.
He never had any emotions after being raised from the dead by his master. All he could feel was the empty and desolate mind that could not process any sort of feelings within.
But thanks to his other master, Pier, he was able to acquire a body.
Maybe it was fate for him to be a fairy who can control spirits as he had the ability to possess another creature and take over their thinking.
His master even granted him a very huge privilege and that was to become a king.
He was given the body of a king that ruled over a very young nation and for the first time, Fluffy became excited.
The fairy had been working in a temple of an ancient empire before and was buried along with the other workers in a forgotten graveyard. Now, he was resurrected by a candidate of the darkness and had gained another body.
Fluffy can once more do what he desired to do.
Ruling a kingdom of his own.
He had also been mentoring the emperor of the previous territory he worked in and saw the wonders of ruling people.
That was one of Fluffy's biggest aspirations in life.
And it was granted.
He did not know if Pier knew about his hidden desires of having a kingdom where he can rule but the human seems to have that certain connection with everyone around him that he immediately does things that could capture their hearts.
Pier did not disappoint as he also had the trust of an ancient fairy-like Fluffy.
However, Fluffy, despite being a king right now, still had absolute rulers that he cannot defy. The First was Pier and the second was the vampire king.
Only the two entities were the ones he considered as someone higher than him. His pride as an ancient fairy who knew the secrets of the temples from the world's history is not allowing him to view others as greater.
He naturally came to trust and feel dependence towards Pier for giving him what he had right now while he cannot defy Ciaran whatever the cost is.
If the vampire king decided to snap his fingers and along those fingers were his control over Fluffy, the dead fairy would dissipate into nothingness.
Right now, his chest that had a human heart started to beat faster again at the feeling of meeting one of his kind.
"The fairy's showing off." He grinned in excitement as he saw the giant vines and trees continue to get closer towards the eastern walls.
"T-THEY'RE HERE!"
"QUICKLY... QUICKLY LOAD THE C-CANNONS!" The knights and mages screamed and it disappointed Fluffy even.
"Pathetic." He huffed and turned back to the show off outside the walls.
"Can I help?" He flinched when a voice spoke beside him.
He wasn't able to feel the presence of the creature that flew towards him.
"Haha! Did I surprise you?" He glared at the creature and despite his chest beating extremely fast for coming with another of his kind extremely up close, Fluffy maintained his stance.
"Please don't worry. I will not exorcise you or anything. I can feel Pier's faint magic traces on you." The small creature spoke and Fluffy's glare hardened.
"Pier and I knew each other, dumbass." The small glowing fairy rolled her eyes.
"Name?"
"I am Oasis, the fairy of reality."

"HAHAHA! I WILL WHIP THEIR WALLS LIKE SERVANTS KNEELING ON THE GROUND!" The small forest fairy shrieked in excitement when she was almost near the eastern walls.
Just a few steps with her giant vine legs, she would cause the chaos she desires.
"HAHAHA! LOOK AT MY POWER! I AM A FAIRY OF THE FORESTS!" She laughed like a lunatic.
"KILL! KILL! KILL!-"
But she halted her screams of joy and excitement when she felt another presence that was the same as hers.
"Oh... A FAIRY! A FAIRY IS ON THE WALLS!" She squealed in excitement and spread more of her fairy dust on the ground.
A forest was being made behind her trails but no one was bothering with her creations. The force designated to attack Taron's Eastern Walls was too occupied with following the mythical creature.
"Woosh! Woosh! That fairy shall kneel upon the goddess fairy!" She proclaimed herself as the goddess fairy and imagined how the fairy on the walls would come kneeling on her.
"I will whip that fairy's back with my vines and make sure they bleed for all of eternity!" The vigor of meeting another fairy like her was too extreme to handle that she started to carelessly break through the ground and head directly to the walls.

"She's quite the show-off, isn't she?" Oasis asked the king and Fluffy shrugged his shoulders.
"Look at those vines! Wow! Those are ginormous!" She squealed and Fluffy felt like Oasis and the fairy heading their way were twins.
"Wow, she's definitely boasting those giant trees!" Oasis spoke once more in admiration and Fluffy sighed before he covered his face in disappointment.
"Can you kill them, Oasis?" Fluffy asked but Oasis shook her head.
"I can manipulate reality to an extent but I can't cast attack spells that could injure them. I can only change the environment they're in for a short moment." She apologized but Fluffy already thought of a plan the moment she introduced her capabilities.
"Do we need to kill them?" Oasis asked in hesitation and Fluffy nodded his head.
"My masters told me so." He turned his gaze back to the horizon where they can now see the floating creature on top of the vines.

"Woah! Another fairy and a...?" The forest fairy tilted her head to the side as she can now see the two creatures standing on top of the walls.
"What's that? An apparition?" She asked herself but no answer came out.
"Heh, whatever. I will kill that fairy first!" She pointed at Oasis and her body produced so much dust that it filled the ground beneath her.
"GROW! GROW MY VINES! WHIP THEM ALL TO DEATH!" She screamed and giant trees that resembled a mini-forest appeared below her.
Soon, giant vines that were even bigger than the kingdom walls sprouted within the mini-forest she created.
"Distort!"
In an instant, the forest fairy felt the cold winds disappear and was instead replaced with scorching heat.
"Huh?" She raised her eyebrows when her surroundings suddenly changed.
The fairy was currently in the middle of the desert.
"WHAT HAPPENED?!" She screamed in question while looking left to right.
The trail of trees she left for the soldiers of Cresencia to follow disappeared. No, everything behind her disappeared and she seems to be transferred to another place.
"Where is this?!" Her frustrated mini huffs continued to resonate inside the sandy and hot place.
"My plants!" She was shocked to see that the mini-forest she grew below her and the giant vines were starting to get lousy and dried up.
"Haha! You will not get out of there, forest fairy!" She heard a voice speak from somewhere and this time, the forest fairy's eyebrows furrowed.
"FAIRY! IS IT YOU WHO DID THIS?!" She asked and silence followed suit.
"I see." She smirked and raised her hands. The giant vines also rose in the air and they almost reached the skies of the alternate reality she was in.
"WHIP THROUGH EVERYTHING!"

"Aaah! She's attacking my distorted reality!" Oasis screamed and flew around in panic when she saw what the forest fairy was doing inside her alternated magic.
"Hey, dead old fairy! What should we do?!" She tugged the hem of Fluffy's clothes and the man raised his eyebrows at her.
"Seriously, you're the one attacking first but you can't even damage the forest fairy." He glared and Oasis gave a sheepish grin before reverting to her panicked face.
"Hehe! I kind of vibe with her excitement that I attacked first!" The slyness in her voice was present and the ancient fairy stopped the urge of facepalming himself.
"But she will escape soon! Quick, dead fairy! Do something!" She tugged on Fluffy's clothes again and this time, he sighed and raised his hands.
"How long?"
"Huh?"
"How long until she breaks out?"
"Oh... three minutes? Her attacks are extremely strong!" She reasoned out but Fluffy rolled his eyes at Oasis.
Oasis was the type of fairy that can place you in a new environment for minutes and even an hour at maximum with whatever she wished but she cannot do direct attacks inside.
"Young fairies sure are dumb." Fluffy groaned before black smoke manifested in his hands.
"Ooh, what's your magic, old and dead fairy?" She asked and Fluffy became irritated at the mention of old and dead.
He knew he had been old and dead but right now, he was a living man with a breathing nose and pounding heart.
He was alive once more!
"Spirits."
"Spirits?"
"Yes. I am Eliezar, no, Fluffy, once the King of Spirits but now the Fairy of Death."
Oasis gasped at the revelation.

The black smoke started to thicken until it went down the walls and finally, it formed a thick fog below.
"W-What's that?!"
"A fog!"
"A fog?"
The people inside the walls all widened their eyes at the appearance of something unusual. A thick black fog was covering their sights and they no longer can't see the marching forces of Cresencia towards them.
"W-Were doomed." One spoke and the others agreed in fear.

"HAHAHA! YOUR REALITY IS BREAKING, FAIRY! HAHAHA!" The forest fairy laughed again as the world Oasis transferred her in for the meantime was starting to form cracks.
Her giant vines from the forest she created attacked everything in sight ranging from the sand, specks of dust, air, and even the skies. Everything in her sight, she whipped with her vines.
"WHY DON'T YOU RESPOND, FAIRY?! HAHAHA! I WILL KILL YOU! I WILL EAT YOU AND YOUR MAGIC WILL BE TRANSFERRED TO ME!" She was at the borderline of insanity after experiencing another fairy's magic.
Slowly, the cracks spread like a spider's web until pieces of it fell one by one. Each piece disappears with a sparkling trail.
This angered the forest fairy.
No matter how much one tried to deny it, Oasis' magic was beautiful. Even the breaking of the reality spell was beautiful to look at!
"I WILL DESTROY YOU, FAIRY! ONCE I GET OUT OF THIS SMALL PRISON OF YOURS, I WILL DEVOUR YOU! HAHAHA!" She laughed as she was now finally closer to getting out of Oasis' spell.

"Rise from the depths of the world and reveal your presence!" Fluffy commanded and the thick fog started to groan.
Yes. The smoke in the air groaned at the fairy's command and Oasis who was joyful earlier kept her mouth shut.
Fear crept up her spine at the ominous and deathly feeling circulating through the fog Fluffy created.
"What... is this..." She muttered subconsciously when the thick fog's groans became louder.
Soon, despite not seeing anything, Oasis could feel the sound of other creatures appearing in the area.
"Manifest your forms and obey my command!" Black magic circles appeared in each of Fluffy's hands and soon, the black fog also emitted a strange glow.

"HAHAHA! IT'S BREAKING! IT'S BREAKING!" She laughed and flew in circles while doing a few stunts here and there.
Oasis' reality had finally crumbled down and the forest fairy can see the walls through the gaps created by the fallen pieces of Oasis' reality spell.
"I HAVE RETURNED FROM YOUR PATHETIC PRISON, FAIRYYY!" She flew outside with vines assisting her.
But that's where she had miscalculated everything.
The forest fairy recklessly charged alone leaving her companions a few miles behind her. The moment she flew while showing off her vines, the victor was already guaranteed.
"HAHAHA..." Her laughter stopped when she got out of the prison spell Oasis had cast.
Right in front of her were thousands upon thousands of spirits manifested in their forms.
There were human knights, mages, spearheads, gladiators, and other types of warriors that did not exist in the world anymore.
"What..." She saw the other creatures as well.
There were monsters of different kinds but the most astounding one was a spirit that manifested into a flying monster.

"E...Eliezar..." Oasis trembled in fear at the sight of Fluffy's power.
A bone dragon was flying through the air. It sent chills down her spine and she felt like passing out at the shock she had gotten.
Her gaze turned towards the old and dead fairy and she felt fearful of the creature.
"Kill her." Fluffy commanded and all of his manifested spirits charged towards the forest fairy and her giant vines.
"THIS... YOU CAN NOT DEFEAT ME WITH THIS!" They both heard the forest fairy scream and started whipping her giant vines.
One slash of the forest's power reduced the manifested spirits' number by more than a hundred.
"I WILL KILL THE BOTH OF YOU! COWARDS! FIGHT ME WITH YOURSELVES!" She gritted her teeth and continued whipping her enormous vines left and right.
But one giant enemy couldn't stand the tens of thousands of manifested spirits charging towards her.
A few minutes of resistance was all it took for the forest she created to be infested with the spirits and it started dying.
"N-NO! MY FOREST! AAARGH!" She groaned in pain when the spirits started slicing up her thick vines.
"THE HUMANS? WHERE ARE MY HUMANS?!" She desperately asked for help but the knights and mages from the Cresencia Empire were still miles away from her.
They cannot quickly support her because of the distance she quickly covered by using her giant vines.
All that the forces trying to infiltrate the eastern walls was the forest fairy rampaging and destroying Taron Kingdom's walls.
Little did they know, she was being dragged into hell by the spirits manifested by another fairy.
"HUMANS! Q-QUICKLY COME AND FEND OF THESE PESTS!" She screamed but they could not hear her.
She was excited, she was impatient.
Because of those traits, the forest fairy who can destroy Taron's walls fell into despair.
"Eliezar..." Oasis tried to call Fluffy but he only spoke a few sentences in response.
"I have used more than half of my magic in order to stop the biggest threat amongst the forces from the east. I will return to my masters after this fairy is dead. You take care of the remaining humans coming here."
"I... I understand." Oasis nodded her head and turned to look at the humans from Taron cowering behind the walls.
She couldn't reveal herself nor could she task them to fight Cresencia's forces.
Minutes have passed and the bone dragon flying in the air managed to claw off one of the vines that were whipping in every direction.
It did not take long before the Forest Fairy fell lifeless on the ground and Fluffy's spirits went to scavenge her remains.
"Who's going to get devoured again?" Fluffy chuckled in a sinister manner and Oasis watched with frightened eyes.
She witnessed the power of the one and only Fairy of Death.

"I think our Goddess Fairy successfully destroyed the walls!" They all cheered after seeing the vines and the forest disappear into thin air.
"Hi." They all halted their cheers and yells when they heard a voice from somewhere.
"I will bring you where your goddess fairy had gone to." The voice spoke again and confusion was evident on their faces.
"Bring where our goddess fairy had gone to?" The general leading the forces towards the eastern wall asked but no one answered.
Instead, they heard the voice speak again.
"DISTORT!"
In an instant, they found themselves falling on the mouth of a volcano.
